She knows darn well what Michelle said and meant, we all do~ Ms. McCain, the one who is the other woman, to a man who left his wife who was disfigured in a car crash, because she didn't have any momey to sustain his political ambitions, she loves this country so much, she steals drugs from a charity to help its poor, to feed her self-righteous drug habit!! Oh yeah she even steals cookie recipes!! Ha Ha! Ha!....Cindy!!!? She wouldn't know what it means to be a true American , she never had to struggle in life like a true one......So who is the Fake one here??

If you're going to quote someone, you should do so accurately. The actual quote is as follows "....for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country..."

As people like you already know (because it's what you're doing), you can remove one word from a quote and turn it into something totally different from what it was intended to be.

FIrst of all, Michelle Obama has ALWAYS been proud of her country. She said she is really proud now or like Laura Bush said, more proud. She did not say she was not proud of her country. So take the wax out of your ears. Also Obama was talking about the political process & how engaged people were.

Cindy McCain should think twice about trying to throw stones, especially unwarranted ones. Was she so proud of her country because she was able to avoid jail time for STEALING drugs from her own charity?

I believe that McCain has been quoted by Tim Russert as saying that he didn't truly discover his American sense of pride until he was a POW.

Somehow I got the impression that Michelle Obama was expressing a similar sentiment. After listening to Cindy's sage advice to Michelle on how to be a politicians spouse, this denial of an attack rings a little hollow. The statement itself was the standard company line these days.

Why does the media choose to spin all things Obama in a positive light?

Do they seriously think Obama is a Messiah? Are they afraid of appearing racist?

The media doesn't do the same for anyone else.

The media was brutal to HRC- hideously vile and biased in its criticism.

They are not hateful toward the McCains.... but they are not gushing all over themselves with praises and justifications and excuses, the way they do with the Obamas.
