Clearly Obama supporters have missed the point. Public financing is a good thing; it guards against back-door financing. How do you know who really makes all those donations to Obama's campaign? He doesn't take from oil companies---just their employees and families. This money is not our tax money; it is donations with a slight twist---the candidate doesn't know who gave and cannot be influenced by those donations. This would also limit other donations---thereby, limiting the amount a candidate could spend. Do you really need to see all those insidious ads?

Forget about it. You can't convince these knee-jerk Obama supporters to open their eyes and look at the facts. Obama isn't bringing anything new to politics other than taking the old corrupt system to the extreme. He's trying to buy this election now, since his original message of Hillary-hating doesn't seem to stick to McCain. "Yes, we can outspend everyone else." Public financing isn't his first broken promise/lie and it won't be his last.

This man is hollow. No qualifications, no merits, never has done anything for his country.

He continually speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

He pretends to stand for one thing and then goes out and does the opposite... yet people cling to his words as if they are gospel.

Never has a candidate gotten so far politically on a message that his own campaign fails to be true to.

Hope? Change, new politics? Unity?

Obama has gone against each of his own campaign themes with what he ACTUALLY does. Cheated at caucus, disenfranchised Mi and Fl voters, stole the nomination from the better qualified candidate by playing the divisive race card. Removes Muslim supporters from sight, denigrates blue collar white voters.....

Yet people continue to believe his constantly changing words rather than evaluate how his actions go counter to his own words.
