Barack, I really believe we can do this without bringing in the Clinton's. You can not trust them. I try so hard to stay on message and not be negative, but I voted for you because you are NOT the Clinton's. Hill and Bill are all about Hill and Bill. There is no deeper message. What is wrong with you people? For cryin' out loud, it was a *primary*. Obama and Clinton were competing for Democrats. Now that the *primary* is over, yes, Obama needs all the Democrats, those that supported him and those that supported Hillary (and Edwards and Richardson and Biden and and and...) as well as independents and like-minded Republicans in order to retake the country from the Republicans. This isn't an admission of weakness from Obama, and it certainly has nothing to do with the primary - it's what the supporters of a political party are supposed to do after the primary.

Barack Obama's supporters represent the very worst of the Democratic Party. They are haters. They don't just hate Republicans, they hate other Democrats (i.e., Hillary's supporters) even more. To vote for Obama is only to reward these people at a time when there is absolutely no need to do so. So what if McCain wins the Presidency? The Democratic Party is going to rack up such huge wins in the house and senate (veto-proof majorities) that we will be able to do whatever we want to do anyway. Rather than to have a superfluous and largely irrelevant Democratic President in the Oval Office, it is much more important to send a message to Obama's 'true believers' by sitting out the presidential election. Those delusional people believe that they can take their slightly less than 1/2 of the Democratic Party and win an election with it. I say to them: Fine. Have it your way. Since you don't believe that you need Hillary Clinton or the 18 million people who supported her, let's put that hypothesis to the test. You'll get no help from me and hopefully not from any of the other more than 1/2 of the Democratic Party member that supported Hillary, either. Good luck in November.

i'm a clinton supporter . I believed she was the best candidate but we lost . (not looking for the olive branch) but i have to say that obama is not an experienced politician since he got the nomination he is doing all the right moves like president Kennedy in 1960. He knows as well asHillary that the Democratic party is split 50-50 and that they have to work together in order for us to capture the white house. I predicted last week that Bill Clinton will endorse Obama before the unity event. I predicted also that hillary will be hiS VP NOT OUT LOVE but as a rational choice. What he is doing is to rehabilitate,as a former community organiser , the clintons and the clinton brand . He knows That America is looking to go to the Clinton years without the personal dramas. just for insight. This morning hillary" i'm not looking to be his vp it is Senator obama's decision. Barack Obama" i need the clintons". Nancy pelosi ,after backstabbing hillary throughout the primary and turning down the dream ticket , praised her today and predicted that she will run again.What is the best way for Hillary to run again in 2016 after obama two terms : being his vice president i know that irrational people who do not know will jump at this but take a deep breath and analyse clearly. I really worry about the mindset of those GOP, especially those neo-cons…What could be their contingency plan to continue their power stream? Could it be something like Mr. black mentioned about? Hmmm….I wonder…

I wonder if Gore took the presidency as he really deserved, what could have been different? I think about 9/11… If he were the president in 2001, could the 9/11 have been prevented? Well, the chances could have been much higher I think because he was Veep for 8 years after all. I just hope that God will not let bad things happen this time.

I really hope that God will let us have a good leader who will save us from all those troubles we are facing these days.

And, with how Obama is talking, I think he wants to put her in some cabinet slot like healthcare czar or something – a worthy cause, but she could do that as VP as well. Tony, I agree one hundred percent. If I read one more post about how the DNC carried Obama across the finish line, I am gonna scream. There was no foul play on Obama's part. He ran a much better campaign, and still is. He is keeping it clean, despite the fact that all his opponents seem to focus more on him then his stance on issues. Maybe it's because they know he's right.
