It seems "dreams die hard" with the Hillary or bust crowd. 'I too agree that they need to give it a rest. They should go post on Lanny Davis's blog. Misery loves company.

Hillary or Biden. Or Gore. Or Bloomberg :)

NO to John Edwards, Bill Richardson--Edwards is a populist moron with a dumb haircut and Richardson is a snooze-inducing, flip-flopping Judas. Also NO Sebelius--she's just Diet Hillary Clinton.

i won't vote for him no matter what. how dare he ask the people to help pay hilary's debt. That just goes to show you he has no idea how difficult this economy is for us taxpayers. All he wants is to squeeze more cash from us poor american citizens. I like hilary however why should we help a millionaire pay her debt.....will she help us pay ours...will obama help pay the mortgages for people who are losing their homes or put gas in their car or food on their table. Perhaps Obama should pay off her debt he seems to have all the cash.......this is all bull and a slap in the face to the american taxpayer.

Joe Biden is definitely the best from the stand point of foreign policy. He doesn't live in DC, commutes to Del. by train-this could diminish the "Wash. insider" view to some extent. I see him sharing the same family values of BO-should help with the ability to work well together. Should appeal to most men as he is a true straight shooter-doesn't mince words.

To Nancy from FL - GO PUMAS!!! - You are the kind of American as part of the problem in this country. For all the posters to this blog, please look at this comment. I have no problem with someone disagreeing with anyone, but look at what is being said and then make up your own minds.

This shows that no matter how far this country has come on racial harmony, there's still much more room to go. This is actually the first comment I've seen that has used the word "boy" referring to Senator Obama and asking white Americans to vote based on race alone.

As a veteran who has fought for this country, this kind of comment makes you wonder, why?? Sad, very sad and disappointing.

You so called Hillary supporters are doing yourselves alot of damage with you outlandish statements. No true Democrat would ever support McCain and his Bush policies. No true intelligent woman would support McCain and his anti-rights policies. No true Democrat would support a man who thinks the war is fine, the economy is ok and
flip flops constantly.
No true Democrat would put their petty feelings ahead of what is
good for our country. No true American would put their spitefullness ahead of trying to undo the many crisis the republicans have
created for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren,
who will be burdened with the republican mismanagement for years to come.

For Karl Rove to call Obama arrogant is the height of arrogance. The Bush administration, starting with Cheney's "So" comment about no support for the Iraq war, has been the most arrogant in American history, not caring at all about what the American people think or need and pursuing its policies in support of oil companies, against the environment, and supporting unnecessary aggression overseas on their own. CNN should not publicize that "critics think Obama is arrogant" when those critics are people like Rove who is not a critic and lacks any independence or objectivity, the necessary characteristics of a critic. I expect more from CNN than that!

It is unbelieveable that many of my comments don't make it on, "awaiting moderation" when CNN allows so many racist and bigoted comments to be posted. Like those by peakarach who got two posts just for this article, and Nancy from Fl who calls Obama 'boy'. CNN is a disgrace. Not only will they not admit that race has a major part to play in this election...that there are many more people who will NOT vote for Obama bcause he is black than will vote for him because he is black...some of them hide behind a wealth of obviously manufactured reasons, but if they would have voted for Clinton based on her stance on the issues how can they on principle decide to vote for McCain who opposes her on almost all of them. We all know the reason, yet no one wants to talk about it, and racist comments like Nancy FL even make on to the blogs in the MSM. It is unbelievable, and Americans like to claim the racism is a thing of the past....yeah right!!! then so is crime, poverty, disease, hunger, war ...

Those of you blackmailing Obama to get Hillary on the ticket are absurd. by the way you are talking you would probably cast your vote with Bush if he was running again.

She is the one pick that is certain to jeopardize Obama's candidacy

... Hill would use the VP spot to campaign for 2012
... Bill would threaten Obama's authority in the White House
... for every vote swinging to Clinton for VP, there would be another for McCain.

Hillary Clinton has a long political career ahead of her. Obama should invite her to serve on the cabinet (after the election is over), work the economy with Bill for 8 years, and then run in 2016 after Bill has become a distant memory.

isn't it ironic that there is so much concern about vetting the VP for obama when there as been no serious vetting of the nominee himself. since when is good reporting satisfied with a barely plausible explanation of a question.why can't CNN or any other media who promote themselves as news you can trust.question the answers when ABC did that regardless of the fallout by the black community and other obama suporters we all saw he had literally no idea of what he was talking about.why is he allowed to get away with this. all of sen obama's policies are going to cost a lot of money to people who already are destitute only the affluent will be able to afford them.if you force car manufacturers to produce environmentally friendly vehicles to quickly the average person won't be able to afford them and demand will drop and jobs will be loss.why should students be given large grants or allowances when the universities are making huge profits for shareholders why not have them lower tuitions ect just look at his policies and question how and why don't be satisfied with spin

POSTING COMMENT HERE BECAUSE THE OTHER BOARD HAD CLOSED THIS IS TO:

Clinton Supporter: That was a very very stupid comment you made about Sen. Obama talking white, well I am going to talk BLACK you said 39 stupid words why don't you take that energy into writing a check for your girl to help settle her debt I think if you sent one dollar for every stupid word you said that would be a total of $39.00 and make it an even $40.00 just because. Now see if you can handle that.

I hate to tell the Hillary converters to McCain but both candidates had the same policies with a few changes. The only thing you're showing by not voting for Obama is that you're racist. That's the only real difference between the 2 candidates. Grow up. I'm a Democrat and to me it wouldn't have mattered if the nominee was Obama or Hillary because they were about the same. It's sad that race is still a big deal in this country.

Please post this CNN, it seems the blatant racism on these comment boards doesn't get called out often enough

Nancy from FL, I hope you're not truly an American Citizen. It was the Republicans for the past 7+ years who have been taking away our rights, not the Democrats, and your sickeningly racist comment certainly doesn't fly in the civilized parts of this nation.

Criticize a comment like Nancy's ("fellow white americans. this country is going to the zoo.") and these lunatics say we're screaming racism every time someone is critical of Obama:

We are not sure that Obama is a earthing human being from this planet Earth because he is ipod. Is his Ipod from an alien pod from the outer space? Then he must be a body snatcher from the outer space. American people already voted for him because American people already adsorbed to be body snatchers. John McCain will lose his popularity supports because of dwindling numbers of American human beings on Earth. Oh my god, I am under surveillance by watchful eyes of alien body snatchers and I will not afford to sleep tonight! I have to run, hide and live in a fear! Remember that movie of Invasion of the Body Snatchers?!

Obama is not entitled to the Presidency either. He's the one that made that statement! It's our time! Whose time for what. Who ever
he chooses will have to be so far left they might make them own selves ashamed of how low they will go.
I have nothing personal against Obama, I just think he is a self-absorbed person who actually thinks he's qualitied to run this country.
He's just had to erase too many people, too many statements, too many relationships, to many words with "He's not the man I knew"
ummmmmmm " that was taken out of context" and ummmmm
does it seem to anyone else other than me, that he has to wait on others to speak out on issues before he makes any statement.
Does he ever have an origional idea of his own?

Clinton supporters are having an immature and ignorant tantrum.

Childish in that they refuse to vote Obama if 'their' candidate isn't on the ticket. Apparently unaware and uncaring of the horror that another four years of Republican rule will do for us vis-a-vis Iraq, Iran, Oil Prices, Economic Decline and Health Care... Not to mention our individual freedoms.

If these Clinton-devoted so-called 'democrats' are so racist and short sighted that you refuse to vote for Obama simply because of the color of his skin (since there's few differences in their stated positions), then shame on you and shame on America for letting people like you grow up bigoted. None of you deserve to call yourselves Democrats.

Actaually, I do not care who might be in the running. Let me know when he has picked someone. For now you tell me about how he plans to get the economy back on track, how will he help America. I don't care what color his wife wears or if his pin was on upside down. How 'bout some facts instead of speculation. If he wants my vote then he needs to start winning me over. I supported Hillary because I could see her plan, I knew where she wanted to go and how she planned to get there. I will not vote for someone just because Hillary tells me too. Right now I feel like there are no candidates for President, just a couple of men who like to yak but have no plan of action.

Hold on everybody, Rose and the other PUMA kids aren't going to vote for Obama because their team didn't win. Maybe we should just call off the elections because it was so unfair to their minority.

Go ahead and vote for McSongbird, McBush, McSame, McWar, McFear etc etc.

Funny how there are no black men on Obama's short list?????
Surely he isn't the only black liberal politician in the nation capable of sitting in the Oval Office?

That would really be historic.

Clearly--he doesn't have much belief in his nation's desire for change--or he would demonstrate more courage in his choices of VP and cabinet seats. He's all about politically correct just like every other politician--not about who's best qualified.

I would like to know why there is so much hate out there in the U.S with all of the names the candidates have been called. It"s the same ones each day. It's time all of this hate is stopped and show some respect to all . How would you feel if you were called these names day after day?

People who suggest Hagel as VP:

This will never happen!!! If something happened to Obama, this would leave the Republicans in charge and the DNC would never allow themselves to be in that position. I think we all like Hagel, but there is no way they pick a Republican as a VP for a Dem.

Hillary/Bill would be a nightmare for Obama. I think that he should select someone like Jim Webb of VA. He would make an awesome partner. Wow what a dynamic and young and refreshing team!

am I missing something here? How come Hilliary supporters keep complaining about how evil and mean Obama supporters are but all I see from HRC supporters is how Obama is evil, a clown, a fool, a idiot. Are you clinton supporters living in some different world?

Also,

Hilliary clinton was UNQUALIFIED AND INEXPERIENCED to be president and is UNQUALIFIED to be vice president.

What it comes down to is Clinton is simply a JUNIOR SENATOR who JUST finished her FRESHMAN term and couldnt even balance a campaign budget. Where is this "lifetime of experience" comming from? I've yet to hear anything specific, just "she has experience" over and over and over again when its clearly false. But again, Clinton and hre supporters to know a thing or two about false acusations.
