I cant believe that mccain ran ads on those web sites to begin with.
I think the people who run those ads think like hitler and are ran by the
same people who voted for hillary because Rush limbrugh (or whatever his name is) told them too. They are not independent and

Michelle, let me first say that I can tell you're one of the Obama camp's overeducated supporters. How can I tell? Your superb grasp of the English language! "pissed off" ..."move up there primaries." Stellar language skills! As for Democrats uniting, has it ever occurred that we democrats that will not support Obama in the fall have reasons other than being angry? We question Obama's motives and sincerity. We believe that Obama has his own best interest at heart and not the best interest of the nation. Obama reminds us too much of G.W. Bush, he is running on nothing but arrogance and rhetoric, much as Bush did in 2000. We will not support a candidate we don’t believe in just because he is of our party. Sorry, some of us don’t care to be lemmings and jump off a cliff just because others do. We will sit back and enjoy the show. And if Obama wins and surprises us by showing us he is able to lead, we may support him in 2012. For now my motto is “anyone but Obama!”

Clinton supporters are voting for McCain for a variety of reasons. I don't believe any woman who was voting for Hillary because she is a woman would vote for McCain, if they are that's not the reason they voted for Hillary. I believe these people are voting based on brand name, not issues. They knew the Clinton name and now are more familiar with McCain's name. Some people say it's trust. Of those people what is it you trust. You trust the republicans to get us out of the mess their policies have created. You trust McCain even though he's changed his position seemingly to appeal to the far right. It's ok to change your mind but these are things he proportedly staunchly believed in. I think it has more to do with you don't trust Obama because of his name, his race, or his "lack of experience." What kind of experience are you looking for? Our foriegn policy guru's have really hit the nail on the head lately. So have the economic advisers who created the mortgage mess. So have the greedy politicians who sold out to big oil.

Why doesn't cnn cover some of the disgusting attitudes of the obama supporters on all the blogs and you tube comments, and everywhere else. McCain supporters at least aren't threatning and seem to know more about their candidate. Some of the obama people seem to think their voting for american idol or rooting for a sports team. And their not only arrogant, but rude, and continue to attack hillary supporters. If hillary supporters want to be stupid and beleive what they beleive, let them do it. its called freedom of speech and opinion. why do they blame the mccain campaign?

Also, how about covering how the obama camp is paying people to stand by the computer all day and retort anyones opinion that isn't in favor of obama. Isn't that a little manipulative, and misleading.

Obama is an unbelievable candidate but pretends to be this candidate of change, but behind the scenes he gets his campaign to do all the dirty work.

Chicosez, just because someone voted for Obama does not make them new to the "party". I'm a lifelong dem like you and made a clear choice for Obama. The reason the Supers went with Obama is because they or their constituents wanted to do so. (Note that not all the Supers went to Obama. Some endorsed Clinton.) The reality is that it was a close primary and Sen. Obama came out on top. And don't even start with MI and FL; we all know that Sen. Clinton suddenly became interestd in those states AFTER Super Tuesday when her campaign showed the first signs of trouble. Stay or leave the "party". It's entirely up to you.

Comparing Obama to Hitler is ridiculous and spiteful. The similarity is that both "inspired a cult-like following"? Why don't we just compare Elvis, or the Beatles, or the Pope, for that matter, to Hitler, for their zealous followers? Highly educated people can see right through the tactics that the republican/conservative smear machine is using– high emotion-evoking terms and comparisons that confuse and warp sensible thought. It is a shame that Americans allow themselves to be manipulated in this way.

ML: The problem with reading BO's policies is that they are "just words". He has NEVER done anything while in office....mostly because his current office was nothing more than a VERY temporary stepping stone to his next audatious move. He has NO track record of backing up any of his promises. He is a puppet, saying whatever is necessarry to cater to the current direction the wind is blowing. For those of you who are voting for him ONLY because he promises to bring the troops out of Iraq, don't hold your breath. He's already started to waffle big time on that. This election is about a complex web of issues. You'd better base your vote on proven track record instead of a list of promises. Just let him sit there in his flip-flops and finish his waffle. Then he'll get right back to serving up another hearty portion of "just words".

K-Wrap! CCN, why didn't you publish my last post? All I said was a word that starts with C and rythmes with map. Wel I don't want to right the same thing all over so briefly, Ex-Clinton supporter now for McCain are about as selfish as you can get and screwing the country worse than it is now just because your candidate did not get the nomination is very, very immature and you know it is.

Second, why can't the Republicans try and win the election on actual issues and not Clinton -Type Kitchen Sink strategies filled with word twisting, hate and fear. I hope the rest of the country sees Obama is already doing the change he speaks of by not doing the personal destruction, smear, lie, tactics of his major opponants thus far. It is a true statement that Hitler made great speeches which brought him to power in Germany. And it is a true statement that Obama makes great speeches that might bring him to power in America.

Hitler had an idea about how the world should work and acted on it. Obama has an idea about how the world should work and is trying to act on it.

Make whatever judgement you want about other similarities but those are historically factual statements.

Um, Ted that can be said for about half our presidents. No the fact remains, Hitler gave speeches filled with hate and blame. Obama gives speeches filled with ideas and issues. And your other "factual statement" is ridiculous, I have an idea how the world should work and I'm trying to act on it, so now I'm Hitler (keep in mind half my family died in the Holocaust). NO candidate (McCain or Obama) is anything CLOSE to Hitler. To say that is spitting on all the graves that Hitler produced. My family was closely divided between Obama and Hillary, but now that Obama is the nominee EVERYONE is voting for him. Not because we are "Obamites" but because we read their policies which are almost exactly the same. Please people think of your ancestors when writing such hateful comments!
