(CNN) - Is Obama ditching his signature fist bump?
According to Tuesday's press pool report, the Illinois senator refused to bump fists with a boy as he was touring the Eastside Community Ministry in Zanesville, Ohio.
As the boy outstretched his first, Obama said no and added, "If I start that ..."
His voice then trailed off.
The presumptive Democratic presidential candidate popularized the move last month when he and his wife Michelle bumped fists on the night he formally captured the party's presidential nomination.

Video of the duo fist bumping became widely popular on the internet, leading the Washington Post to declare it “the first bump heard ‘round the world.'”

It is almost ludicrous that Senator Obama would send out Wesley Clark to defend his comments about Senator McCain.
It is just another smoke and mirror tactic by Senator Obama. He looks at his personal accomplishment resume, which is a single page compared to Senator McCain's "book" and decides to send Clark out to say McCain is running for "fighter pilot."
Senator Obama, stop these stupid tactics that worked in the Primary. You are in a General Election for President of the United States of America. Debate McCain, go to town hall meetings with him...then let "We" the People decide.
CNN, please stop the gossip column and vet the candidates.

I feel bad for the guy, there are so many racists and low life swift boaters out there he has to be so careful about every little thing he does. Both candidates are decent people, both have strong points, and both have flaws, but let's focus on the issues. I personally feel that Obama is the best choice we have BETWEEN THE TWO CANDIDATES THAT WE HAVE, I fear that we will continue to spiral downwards under McCain's watch. Obama is not a muslim terrorist, and to the other extreme he is not the messiah ... he's a pretty intelligent and reasonable politician that again ... is the best choice we have. Reject him for his policies if you really want McCain, not because he is black, stupid lies that he is muslim and an activist, what he former minister said, something he or his wife mispoke about, and other ridiculous propaganda.
I'd like to see a presidential candidate with enough self confidence that modifying his behavior due to Fox News hit piece journalism would be repugnant to himself.

"Clinton, no wait, McCain Supporter" I am curious why you and so many other Clinton supporters will vote for a candidate who is so different than her. I really cannot understand the reasoning. You support a candidate who is so different than McCain and then when she does not have the nomination you don't support the candidate who is the closest to her. Also when you say things like "making BO appear presidential" that can easily be taken as his natural appearance is not presidential...hmm, I think I realize now why you'd rather see McCain.
It's obvious that Obama meant if he pounds one hand, or shakes one hand, he will have to shake hands for hours so there is no reason to start it up if he is in a hurry.

I guess he thought that might hurt him with the white vote and it would. But I think people would have overlooked that a lot more than when him and his wife performed the fist bump. I guess when you are trying to act like a white and get the vote you had better forget the fist bump. I am sure the other leaders of the other developed countrys really liked that gesture. I was trying to figure out a word to describe it and guess "Ghettiosh" is the best I can do.
