(CNN) - Is Obama ditching his signature fist bump?
According to Tuesday's press pool report, the Illinois senator refused to bump fists with a boy as he was touring the Eastside Community Ministry in Zanesville, Ohio.
As the boy outstretched his first, Obama said no and added, "If I start that ..."
His voice then trailed off.
The presumptive Democratic presidential candidate popularized the move last month when he and his wife Michelle bumped fists on the night he formally captured the party's presidential nomination.

Video of the duo fist bumping became widely popular on the internet, leading the Washington Post to declare it “the first bump heard ‘round the world.'”

Barack, don't put the kabosh on the fist bump. You only temporarily popularized it. If some people get jazzed behind it, that's their problem. You shouldn't have distanced yourself from Wesley Clark's statement either. He was spot on! Please, please be yourself, that's what we're buying.
Why is their coverage on this? If McCain stops saying "my friends..." during his speeches, will there be a news item on that, too? And he is not my friend!

So he does a fist-bump w/ Jimmy Kimmel on national TV, his wife greets all the silly women of The View w/ a fist bump, but Sen. Obama now refuses the fist-bump greeting w/ a boy and leaves him hangin?? I guess someone told him it is no longer politically expedient. This man is incredible.

Whoops I must have typed fauxnews.com into my browser. I know CNN isnt reporting on a non-news story like this just like the initial "terrorist fist-jab" which was also not a story.
It would be nice to focus on things that actually matter in people's lives like maybe the war or the economy or education. Instead, we are constantly bombarded with whether Hilary and Obama had water or tea at their private meeting, whos flag pin was the largest and how Obama and Michelle wish each other luck.
