(CNN) - Is Obama ditching his signature fist bump?
According to Tuesday's press pool report, the Illinois senator refused to bump fists with a boy as he was touring the Eastside Community Ministry in Zanesville, Ohio.
As the boy outstretched his first, Obama said no and added, "If I start that ..."
His voice then trailed off.
The presumptive Democratic presidential candidate popularized the move last month when he and his wife Michelle bumped fists on the night he formally captured the party's presidential nomination.

Video of the duo fist bumping became widely popular on the internet, leading the Washington Post to declare it “the first bump heard ‘round the world.'”

Looks like a terrorist fist jab to me. Why wouldnt it be? Especially "on the night he formally captured the party's presidential nomination."
Don't think this fist bump is presidential and Barack should stop it. But he should also reign in Michelle. I could tell Barack was not enthusiastic about that fist bump when Michelle lured him into it.
I'm getting tired of Barack being led by people. He has to start stepping up to the plate and leading. He can start by ignoring McCain and not throwing Clark under the bus.

First of all, maybe Obama wouldn't see fit to ditch the harmless fist bumping if every little thing he did wasn't scrutinized. Next on CNN's political ticker, "Barack Obama sneezed" ?
Second of all, this weekend we celebrate the birth of this nation yet we have people losing their homes, who can't find jobs, can't afford college, who don't have gas to go anywhere this holiday weekend and who are visiting food banks in record numbers YET, our Congress is going on a week long vacation and CNN wants us to know that Barack Obama refused a fist bump?
When will we focus on the issues???
Obama knows how to do nothing but lie. When and IF he is elected, one year from then you Obama supporters will see when I am talking about. You want change you anit seen nothing. Did any of you live in the 60's? Well if you did, their about to come back and maybe worse.

Yet another example of Obama failing to stick to his guns or have a position on ANYTHING. If he loves the fist-bump, then he should use it... especially with a kid! The fact that he's fearfull and nervous about something as stupid as a fist-bump should send a very loud and clear message to the country that he is NOT ready to lead our country.

The Obama's were hardly the first to do this fist bump – I am sure many of you boomers (and more) remember the Wonder Twins of the 70's (?) cartoon bumping fists to activate their powers. Let's get over it!!
Oh my God, the most difficult job in the world is running for the position of the USA president as a black man. Everything Obama does/does not do is over analysed and criticised. No matter what this guy does some people just hate his guts.
He is a hero because he is not running from a level playing field. He has had to dig his way up from a deep pit and rising straight to the top and some people can't just stomach that.

This irritates me that he would let the media change him. I'm all for Obama, but I am really not happy with all of his "change" right now. Don't change who you are because you don't want the media to criticize you.

From the fist bump to hiring an impersonator of Bush–If they have all this air time and money to burn for radio and tv spots–why not focus on the real problems of the United States...flooding leaving many homeless, fires, droughts, high gas–give some of that money to the Red Cross or other agencies to help Americans. Get on with it..

I should have known my post would be deleted since it provided a link to an unfavorable report of Obama's "real estate development" experience and his "friends" in Illinois. If Obama is elected President and our country goes even further down the toilet, it will be YOU, the biased media who will be primarily responsible because your CEOs, news producers, reporters, etc. didn't do their jobs.
