WASHINGTON (CNN) - White House Deputy Chief of Staff Joe Hagin will be leaving his job this month, according to White House spokesperson Dana Perino.

Perino says Hagin's last day will be July 20th.

"The President said that he thanks Joe for his service to the White House, that Joe's been a loyal friend, and that he is excited about the next chapter in Joe's life," said Perino.

Hagin sent an email to friends this morning, announcing he is leaving to take a private sector job.

Hagin, an Ohio native, has been with President Bush since the 2000 campaign.

Combined with experience during the first Bush presidency, Hagin has served 14 years in the White House.

Hagin was a behind-the-scenes player, who had a huge role in the post 9/11 reorganization of the U-S government and how terrorist responses would be reformed.

They kinda look like two little kids playing with their video games in that picture. Actually, that's probably what they are doing!

Is anyone else wondering where all Bush's men and women have gone? Scattered to the wind. Where is our VP, Cheney? Both he and Condie have been incognito for at least 2 years, out of the spotlight for whatever reason. Hmmmm, ever wonder why? What are they doing in their capacities as the Nos 2 & 3 most important elected/appointed officials of the American People? Hey, Dick & Condie, remember who pays your salary, who you work for, whose interests you are supposed to keep uppermost in your minds....? Yeah, that's right, you may have other ideas, but I don't think so......

All those guys should be brought to justice for fooling voters/Americans and setting crisis that few americans have ever experienced in their lives prior to Pres. G. W. Bush administration! Now Sen. McCain wishes to apply similar tactics to proppel him to power so that the mess will continue till America becomes a third world country, God forbid! Voter must say no to stupidity, manipulation and fear mongering!

The light at the end of the tunnel is coming - the end of the Bush presidency! Of course the cockroaches of the Administration are going to scurry when they see that light. They 'll just scurry on to the dark recesses of the lucrative US military-industrial complex...

Worst president in our history, should be jailed? I guess these morons must have been born after Carter and or Clinton. Maybe it's time Bush's people start accepting other positions, they will all soon be out af a job anyway. As for obama we might as well be supporting Soupy Sales, oh wait a minute, obama is like Soupy Sales.

I simply posted confirmation regarding the "other national anthem" that was sung in Denver, and CNN still has it "awaiting moderation" for more than an hour...this is ridiculous...why doesn't CNN just e-mail me and tell me I am not allowed to post here, for whatever reason?...maybe I am on their "list"...

They are all probably looking for new jobs since Bush won't be in office much longer. You would think that he would at least wait until the job was over! How are they going to hire someone to do his job when it will only last a few months? Get temp help?
