Apparently Lieberman doesn't realize that he's not running for president... Every day we hear about how this guy is being funded by our tax dollars to do NOTHING but whine and moan about how our next president is aligned with the American people's views about how horrible and stupid this war has been.

Obama has always been consistent on the fact that he was willing to modify his withdrawal strategy based on what was happening on the ground. If you watch the Democratic primary debates with Clinton and Obama, that would be evident. Why did the Clinton Campaign didn't make that an issue? Why did the media didn't make that an issue then? Because it never was an issue.

But the conservative media and Karl Rove, Bush's strategist, are now trying to paint him as a flip flopper because that's the only strategy he knows, and they're looking ridiculous in the process as mcflip flop is the real flip flopper who is caving to everything the conservative base wants him to do.

Me thinks obama better give another speech claryfing his clarification. I mean thats all we need is another speech and this will all go away. I mean and when obama finds out people keep saying all he does is make speeches he will make a speech about speeches. He gave another speech at another church and then I swear when he stops does the pause and tilts his head its like its the signal to clap or something. I am waiting on a debate between him and mccain where I can see how they each argue their points verbally against each other without supporters who will clap at anything.

I personally have always found it inappropriate to judge the Iraq invasion primarily on whether i was "working" or not. I've always felt it was the wrong thing to do..and even when things were not going well, I thought it was wrong to conclude that it was the wrong decision, based merely how thye conflict was playing out. Rather it ws wrong because there was no justificationto commit American blood and treasure to overthrow a soverign govenment simply because you didn't like their leader. If the Iraqui people longed for a different government, it was up to them to make the human sacrifices necessary to do this....not an outside power, who had their own agenda,.

The supposed big deal with McBush is his 'experience' I remember a few years ago a popular push was under way to vote out of office, all politicians who were 'experienced' at screwing Americans and fattening thier own wallets, and voting in new untainted candidates. It was and is a good idea. When it comes to Washington politicians, Experience Sucks!

McCain aka McSame aka war-monger has no strong legs to sufficiently stand on to win him the election. He is a very weak candidate for Obama to defeat.

He is so out-of-touch that he doesn't understand that it's the economy, stupid. 93% of voters say the economy is "extremely" or "very" important to their vote for president this November. McCain doesn't know much about the economy and therefore doesn't have any significant plans to improve it. He has essentially embraced Bush's failed policies. To suggest that the Surge has worked is a complete falsehood. The violence in Iraq has gone down but is only because of the al-Sadr cease fire. When he forms his new militia, you can expect the violence to escalate again. Bring 'em home and start fixing the problems at home. I'm tired of $12 Billion being wasted away every month for another country, when they could put that money towards paying down the National Debt and fixing our crumbling infastructure. Of course I'll never understand how one administration can come in with a $2 trillion surplus and turn it into an additional $3 trillion deficit.

Four Thousand Plus US Soldiers killed,not including wounded soldiers who made sacrifices so others could live with dignity. Pulling our soldiers and bringing them back now or in the near future is a very stupid decision. I donot really like Angelina Jolie but at least she got a brain. The fact that Obama said that he will continue to refine his policies is not the same as changing his position. Like all intelligent people, of course, he will refine his policies. As far as I am concerned Iraq needed a leader like Hussien to keep them fanatics under control. I think the reason young people are going so much for Obama is because they have never had to work or sweat for what they got. It was the fault of their parents by not making them know what it is like to have to earn something.If Obama is elected and when all these young people get out of school and start having to pay taxes for all the slugs in the world and do without their toys that mom and dad bought them , they will wake up with a socialist type and a weak kneed goverment and nation.
