We need to end this war Amercia is hurting right here and now!

Too many brave men and women are fighting an endless doom of disaster. I continue to pray for them.

Our country is hurting economically, I know John Mccain doesn't get that concept. He continues on the idea we will not leave until the war is won but, has yet to define it.
When they claim all is well with the surge, then we are still staying loosing more of our soldiers through self bombs.............
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Take care of AMERICA!

McCain has made a mountian out of a molehill. Obama only stated that he may change how he may pull the troops out in 16 months. He said nothing about backing away from the timetable.

Refine....To change or remove ( The World Book Dictionary )
Isn't that what Barack Obama has been saying for the last 18 months ?
McCain is running his campaign just like Hillary Clinton tried to. Keep Obama making apologies for something stupid someone else said, so he isn't on message. John Kerry and Wesley Clark question John McCain's qualifications for president. So do I. OBAMA'08

Apparently Lieberman doesn't realize that he's not running for president... Every day we hear about how this guy is being funded by our tax dollars to do NOTHING but whine and moan about how our next president is aligned with the American people's views about how horrible and stupid this war has been.

Obama has always been consistent on the fact that he was willing to modify his withdrawal strategy based on what was happening on the ground. If you watch the Democratic primary debates with Clinton and Obama, that would be evident. Why did the Clinton Campaign didn't make that an issue? Why did the media didn't make that an issue then? Because it never was an issue.

But the conservative media and Karl Rove, Bush's strategist, are now trying to paint him as a flip flopper because that's the only strategy he knows, and they're looking ridiculous in the process as mcflip flop is the real flip flopper who is caving to everything the conservative base wants him to do.

Me thinks obama better give another speech claryfing his clarification. I mean thats all we need is another speech and this will all go away. I mean and when obama finds out people keep saying all he does is make speeches he will make a speech about speeches. He gave another speech at another church and then I swear when he stops does the pause and tilts his head its like its the signal to clap or something. I am waiting on a debate between him and mccain where I can see how they each argue their points verbally against each other without supporters who will clap at anything.

I personally have always found it inappropriate to judge the Iraq invasion primarily on whether i was "working" or not. I've always felt it was the wrong thing to do..and even when things were not going well, I thought it was wrong to conclude that it was the wrong decision, based merely how thye conflict was playing out. Rather it ws wrong because there was no justificationto commit American blood and treasure to overthrow a soverign govenment simply because you didn't like their leader. If the Iraqui people longed for a different government, it was up to them to make the human sacrifices necessary to do this....not an outside power, who had their own agenda,.

The supposed big deal with McBush is his 'experience' I remember a few years ago a popular push was under way to vote out of office, all politicians who were 'experienced' at screwing Americans and fattening thier own wallets, and voting in new untainted candidates. It was and is a good idea. When it comes to Washington politicians, Experience Sucks!

Is getting out of Iraq going to involve fatalities? Yes
Is staying in Iraq going cause more fatalities? Yes
America should REPLOY to the Iran/Iraq border and withdraw from that there.
They should leave troops, not IN Iraq, but along the border.
As a matter of fact, beefed up borders in many locations, World wide, would reduce 'problems'.

The one and only area that McCain thought he had the upper hand on is Iraq, but thanks to brave people like Gen. Wesley Clark, the truth about McCain's judgment has been made crystal clear.

• Senator McCain's service and experience, both as a POW and as a Senator apparently hasn't infused him with a dose of good judgment.

• Senator McCain's experience hasn't led him to realize that the war in Iraq and it's continuance has empowered and emboldened Iran, and destabilized the region.

• Senator McCain's experience hasn't caused him to recognize that we're losing ground in Afghanistan, and Osama bin Laden is still out there, plotting.

• Senator McCain's experience didn't lead him to support the 21st Century GI Bill -- he opposed it. It didn't even make him feel the need to get back to Washington to vote on this -- one of the most important veterans' bills this Congress. He twice skipped votes on the GI Bill, to fundraise.

• Senator McCain's experience didn't help him empathize with troops are overstretched and overdeployed, when he voted against the bipartisan Webb-Hagel "Dwell Time Amendment," which would have given troops as much time at home as in the field.

McCain aka McSame aka war-monger has no strong legs to sufficiently stand on to win him the election. He is a very weak candidate for Obama to defeat.

He is so out-of-touch that he doesn't understand that it's the economy, stupid. 93% of voters say the economy is "extremely" or "very" important to their vote for president this November. McCain doesn't know much about the economy and therefore doesn't have any significant plans to improve it. He has essentially embraced Bush's failed policies. His cover-up for his incompetent is to try to consistently keep conversation on the war.

It's time for REAL change in Washington, it's time to elect Barack Obama for president !

Here we go! First CNN's Yellin does a sloppy story that makes it look like Obama changed his Iraq stance when nothing could be further from the truth. Now McBush whose side fed Yellin the story in the first place, jumps all over it. McBush knows America hates this stupid Bush war so he will do any desperate thing to not let Obama have the high ground on this vital issue.

The Democrats blew it again! They chose the wrong candidate. Only Hillary Clinton and John McCain have been right about Iraq from the beginning!

The presumptive nominee, Obama, has been wrong about Iraq from the beginning and all his obfuscating can't change his flip-flopping words.

We are winning in Iraq! :)

John McCain 08 or Hillary Clinton 08 if the Democrats throw the floundering Obama under the bus!

All of these soldiers are dead and mamed because of a war that should never have been waged. McCain orginally said they could be there for 100 years. Obama plans to put a stop to the war as soon as possible considering the situation the Republicans have put us in. In other words Obama has to now clean up their spilled milk. He hasn't changed his views.

if Johm McCain is the "hero" he wants America to believe he is, then whats the big deal about releasing his Military Records? why do h is crew mates on the USS Forrestal think he was responsible for that tragedy, killing 168 men? why did he fight soooo hard to make sure his records would not be seen, even at the expense of the POWs that were still in captivity? John McCains whole campaign is run by the big oil lobbyist who he has taken OVER $1.069,854.00 from...who's America will John be working for ? dang sure not mine!
wake the He!! up America!!!

Actually Obama's plan for Iraq is very similar to McCain's. McCain just wants there to be peace before he withdraws. Obama wants to leave, peace or no peace. I like John McCain's position more.

Obama you can fool the people once, twice but not all the time. They have seen your game during the primaries when you were going after Hillary for her Iraq war vote and stance. Now you think you have got the nomination you can say whatever you want. You are now accusing the media who stood by you through thick and thin and did not vet you but coronated you now you want to thorw them under the bus because now they are slowly exoposing you. We need to elect independents as senator in the fall and slowly build up third party - Peoples Party. Enough of this change business and yes we can. Its only a dream to be sold to the ignorant youth half of whom dont know who their state senator or congressman is?

Of course McCain was for the surge. This man is all about war and more war. He thrives on war ,and that's what you're going to get more of if he's elected.
The war drum has started for Iran and McCain is beating it!
He was the school yard bully as a child, and will be the bully of the world!
Obama will get us out of Iraq responsibly, and use diplomacy before force in the future.

"On Iraq, John McCain has been right and consistent, and Senator Obama has been wrong."

–Sen. Joe Lieberman

Joe, did you have to wisper that in McWars ear. Joe and Lindsey let me take you back to Oct. 2002 and remind you of some of the things that member of the Illinois state legislator said about a potential war in Iraq.
“I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.”
B. Obama October 2002
Wow, Joe you and Lindsey and McWar have all these years of Senate experience and some young Illinois legislator understood more about the consequences of going to war in Iraq than you three clowns. Your lame attacks and crying every time someone says something mean about McCrybaby want work this time.
Iraq War Vets for Obama

Why is CNN not reporting that this agreement that Iraq and the
United States are trying to get settled by the end of July is
something that Iraq do not agree on.They want the U.S. troops
to be under their control and to stay on their base and if they try
to leave their base on a mission they must get the Iraq goverments
approval. They really want us to leave. But nothing on CNN or others
about this on going negotiation.Let the America people know.

Obama has no plan to get the troops out of Iraq. He can't get them out any faster than McCain can. McCain has a son over there. Do actually believe he wants to stay there for 100 years? Wake up, he was talking about being in Japan and Germany for 75 years, but not fighting. I trust McCain a lot more than I do Obama. At least I know McCain loves his country and didn't sit in hate filled church for twenty years and never said a word. He took his kids there so they could learn all that hate. Why wasn't Obama out trying to unite people before he started running for president? Because he wanted to stay in that church with his people, and a whole lot of anti-american friends. The warning signs are there. Don't ignore them.

To suggest that the Surge has worked is a complete falsehood. The violence in Iraq has gone down but is only because of the al-Sadr cease fire. When he forms his new militia, you can expect the violence to escalate again. Bring 'em home and start fixing the problems at home. I'm tired of $12 Billion being wasted away every month for another country, when they could put that money towards paying down the National Debt and fixing our crumbling infastructure. Of course I'll never understand how one administration can come in with a $2 trillion surplus and turn it into an additional $3 trillion deficit.

Four Thousand Plus US Soldiers killed, not including wounded soldiers who made sacrifices so others could live with dignity. Pulling our soldiers and bringing them back now or in the near future is a very stupid decision. I donot really like Angelina Jolie but at least she got a brain. She knows fully well how our soldiers are still needed there.

The fact that Obama said that he will continue to refine his policies is not the same as changing his position. Like all intelligent people, of course, he will refine his policies. He has an open mind unlike our current President or John McCain. His position is and always has been to get us out of Iraq as quickly and safely as possible.

The issue isn't that McCain was right regarding the surge but we went to war for the wrong reason. We Attacked a Sovereign nation, decimated a people and it's country. 4 thousand plus killed and 30 thousand maimed or injured. Thanks Bush / McCain/ RNC!

No we haven't forgotten that we went to Iraq for WMD and to get those who attacked Us (World Trade) well after 6 years we're no closer to retribution, we've only weaken ourselves Militarily and Economically, while the enemy is in Afghanistan. All based on a lie!

Obama for President!

Sorry, but McCain has been wrong from the get go. He has supported the Presient. We would not have needed a surge had we not invade Iraq to begin with. Everybody I know want our boys/girls to come home. We've accomplished nothing. Bin laden is still on the loose.

Obama becoming unwrapped. Now we see what this guy is really made of - a wishy-washy wannabe full of ego and promoted by agenda laddened journalists pushing liberalism encased in a male body. Put Hillary Clinton on the November ballot by printing her name as your candidate of choice. Hillary is the real thing. Hillary is the leader.

Joe Lieberman and Lindsey Graham - It's a good thing they are there to whisper in McCain's ear when he makes the big gaffs. How can someone who doesn't understand the difference between Shiite and Sunni have the right strategy in Iraq. We're in this mess because of the arrogance of the Republicans in thinking they can impose their will on the people of the Middle East, without having a clue as to the mindset there. Yuck!! Can we please get someone in office who understands other cultures and viewpoints? Please elect Obama!!

McCain's plan for Iraq is to keep 120000 troops there for the next 8 years and keep saying over and over "we're winning in Iraq" and hope the weak minded of our population can keep being fooled.

All I know is Obama has been right on everything. Talks with our "Enemies" . How about North Korea?

Obama has never changed his views on Iraq. McCain is a liar.

All I know is I have two sons that said if McCain wins this election we will be moving out of this country. If Obama wins, they wish to enlist.

What we need is truth in reporting. I am tired of news based on Opinion. What happened to the CNN I first knew. You lost me after the "Light Brite" scandal.

Where is the research?
