To Susan from Susan from Scotts Valley:
From what we hear from a lot of Hillary supporters, they're not going to support Obama no matter what. Hopefully she'll start REALLY campaigning for him.

GM, well said in terms of them fighting, realizing a victor was crowned and moving on. Too bad other adults in this country can't do so.

nobam, Clinton needs Obama to win. OR, lose in a really ugly fashion. Based on the polls, it's going to be either a close loss for Obama or a solid won by Obama. So, there goes the easy way back to the top for Clinton.

If Obama wins, she gets to set up her next move as his VP to be President.
Absent getting VP, she gets a senior position in the administration –
Sec'y of state, Sec'y of Health & Human Services, Supreme Court, etc.

Or, she becomes Majority Leader and shepherds legislation through that they both agree needs to get done. Or, she holds up legislation she doesn't want.

If Obama doesn't win, then Webb, Warner, Kaine, Reed, Sebelius, Bayh, Richardson all of those folks stay in front of her.

So, the easiest way to get back to the front of the line is for him to win. Because if he doesn't, fairly or otherwise, there'll be a LOT of people who will blame her for the loss. Again, fairly or unfairly and all those othe people will "appear" to be more loyal than her. Never forget, she's the one who said "I have the experience, and McCain has the experience, you'll have to ask Senator Obama about his..."

So, all of her fans who want to see her as President had better hope he wins.

Lastly, considering some of the tough things she did say about Obama and she having it and he not having it, how does she answer that in a debate as the Democratic VP?

  4. Oh Shoot

Why? She will just spy on him and copy what Barack is doing in 2012, because she doesn't have one creative bone in her body. I hate her, and wish she would go away.

So? It's not like his plane will be the better, what for her gracing it with her presence. She just not afford to gas up her own plane anymore.

The thought of her being so close to Barack makes me sick. She's slime and Barack will really have to watch his back. And he won't be able to eat anything on the plane. Just face her and keep smiling, don't turn your back on her because she's evil.

And for God's sake don't take Bill onboard or you'll be outnumbered by snakes.

Will Hillary have to go through a metal detector, because she may try to do something to Barack–our nominee.

I've lost all respect for former Prez Bill Clinton since this primary. What a disappointment. And he's not making it any easier for Senator Clinton by continuing to sulk. She still has a future in the political arena to consider. How could Obama possibly consider asking her to be the running mate now with baggage like that? A sorry state of affairs.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, we have determined what Hilary is, and that her price is $10 million.

  16. Only Hill can Heal

Obama trashed the rules of intra-party respect and civility... he and his thug followers.

Now they want Hillary with her poise and grace and strength and inner beauty to put the party back together again.

Hillary can do it... but we won't allow her to heal this sick, sorry party. We will honor Hillary in our own way in NOV.

It is bigger than Party unity for a NOV win- it is about preserving the democratic process itself. Sorry, Hillary – we would listen but were it for the hateful tactics that swiftboated you.

We will not bow down to sexism, bias, hate and injustice.

Do what you must, Hill... and we've got your back.

Why don't her donors find a way to pay her debt? The only reason she's hanging around Barack, like a leach, is so she can get her stupid bills paid.

    She makes everything stink.

  20. Principles over unity

I have never respected ANY politician more so than Hillary.

But I can not allow what they did to YOU, Hill to become the way the democrats win nominations.

We must stop this movement into insults, filth, hate, bigotry, sexism. We must purge this strategy of trash your opponent right out of the party this time, this year... or the Democrats are dead.

Is John McSame a flip flopper??? Let's see...

McCain will repeal the AMT. Wait, no ...
...not exactly. The presidential candidate has been saying he would eliminate the so-called "wealth tax" that threatens the non-wealthy. But now he supports a more modified plan.

That's not only a flip flop, it a half gainer with a full twist!!!! LOL!!!!

I hope she doesn't campaign for him I'm hopeful that since this is a fund raiser, it's about raising money for her debt. (?) I wish she pair up as McCain's vp.

Why help her plan against him for 2012? She doesn't need to ride on a plane with him, or get anywhere near him. When will the O Team wise up and realize that Hillary should be kept at a distance. She's means him no good, and it's obvious that she doesn't like him.

Liars should stay away from Barack.

How 'bout Bill? Isn't he invited? He isn't "on board" because he's made it clear that he thinks Obama is a chump. I don't think he's ever really gotten over the race baiting Obama's campaign engaged in during the primary. Wonder why they haven't done it with McCain (much) yet since they were so liberal about it with the Clintons and their supporters? Very curious!

My goodness, she's determined to get her debt paid. She will do anything and say anything and I don't believe her. And it's funny, but her supporters don't believe her either because she asked them to vote for Barack and they're not doing it. Oh well, so much for Hillary's influence.
