Well that all being sad and done only means that Hillary will be President in 2012 after all Obama will lose in November and then McCain will screw the US up for 4 more years and then Hillary will have to come in and clean up after the republicans just like her hubby did.

Anyone who sees Obama winning with out her on the ticket may as well just stay in on election day and save your gas money!

Hillary 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point, Clinton should back off from VP/Presidential ambitions. Get in there, campaign for Obama, & be a prime candidate for the next Supreme Court opening. That would give her clout for life, even in excess of VP or Prez.

HRClinton for Supreme Court ASAP!

Hillary is right the Democatic party is a family but dysfunctional. It is time to put our differences aside. Retire Hillary debit and put so fuel to the fire for Obama lets come together and take back the White House. Carl Rove should be in jail. Congress needs to be held accountable for not doing nothing. We have housing crisis, food crisis, gas crisis, children are in need of services, families are in need. The Iraq war and Afganstan is still in play. The solider give their lives are real the are people our love ones. We cant get into a push and shove. If we keep fighting none of us will get what we want. Dont be fooled by the Republicans. John McCain is gaining ground his donations are up. The same old play book. If Hillary supporters think by hurting the Democratic party by turning their backs on Barack there is nothing that we can do. If Clinton supports don't want to give to Barack then give to Clinton to help her. I they choose to do nothing. Then what are their true intentions? Is it really for the party or for themselves.

Obama is better off WITHOUT CLINTON. She carries a lot of baggage (both politicaly and physically).

She and Bill are total distractions and old school politics (dirty tricksers, deceitful, liers, etc...).

MOST PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THE CLINTON'S (both Bill and Hill).

Obama is an arrogant, flip flopping, puppet who is a fraud. He is change because he changes his mind every day. Obama is a real dirty underground Chicago politician who is pretending to be differenet. Anyone who has 1/2 a brain knows this guy is full of it.

I am a Hillary supporter and will NEVER vote for Obama. Not because I am angry, but because I DO NOT LIKE HIM!!!!!!! Obama is a fraud! I will not vote for him even if Hillary is the VP. I cannot wait until the republicans destroy him. The democrats deserve to lose for picking the puppet candidate who has no chance of winning.

This is just silly. Wolfson doesn't KNOW whether she's being/been vetted, because he isn't an Obama insider. Now, if David Plouffe said this, then it would be news.

I dont know if you Obama supporters are old enough to remember but under the Clintons we had a surplus and our economy was booming. So, to compare their reign to that of the Bush's is moronic. Stay in school kids and they you will learn the Clintons were awesome for our country and respected worldwide (unlike the Bush family)...

To you who think Hillary has been so well vetted, I'd like to remind you that she has a husband who has had some shady dealings since he left the white house. Then there are questionable fund raising dealings connected to Hillary's 2000 senate campaign. There is too much drama that follows Bill and Hillary Clinton. I defended them for eight years and that's enough.

I believe Hillary could be a wonderful VP (although I didn't really like her when I was watching the primary). However, Obama would have to set down some big rules and keep his thumb on things. he could put her in charge of health care or something. He should, however, make her attorney general or give her a cabinet post on Health and Human Services. She would be the best there.

Obama should pick whomever he wants for VP. that's his choice and nobody else's.

This is good news to me. The fact that Clinton is not being vetted for VP. She is to controlling and would be a distraction to Obama. She has way to much baggage. Obama want have any time to answer questions on the issues for having to answer questions about condemning allegations about her. He would be the president but she would get all the attention. The Clintons have had there time in the White House, give somebody else a chance.

Senator Obama poses Change, not more of the same. That means no more Bushes and no more Clintons. The media has pushed this tale to the limits and should back off at this point. Why not tell Senator McCain who to pick for his "dream ticket" for a change. As an independent, who thoroughly supports Senator Obama for President, I believe he is more than capable of choosing the perfect candidate for VP. I will respect his decision and continue to support him on his road to the White House.

I think the problem with Hillary is that she is disingenuous, and represents the "Old" Democratic party. My lack of support for her is due to this fact entirely, and has NOTHING to do with her gender. Also, the notion that she was treated unfairly by the press is total nonsense, she was dishonest and was called on it, period.

I think it's best if she sits this one out and learns how to be truthful. She must do this before she will EVER earn my respect.

I don't want Hillary on the ticket and I hope she's NOT being considered. Too much baggage and then there's Bill. It was stated a few weeks ago that Hillary was not in consideration unless Bill was willing to release his Clinton Foundation donor list which he still refuses to do. Get over it! Clintons are done and it's time to move on.

Gen. Wesley Clark has the military/national security issues locked up. His military service record far exceeds John McCain's and Clark definitely has the tested leadership skills that McCain lacks. Someone made a comment about even graduating 894 of 898 from the Naval Academy made McCain better educated than Obama with his Ivy League schools. How about this - Valedictorian of West Point. Gonna have to say that trumps near the bottom of the Naval Academy. And just for kicks let's throw in Rhodes scholar from Oxford. He has the calm demeanor that compliments Obama's, intelligence, tested leadership skills in military situations, and did I mention that his degree from Oxford was in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

It was McCain that was scheduled to participate in the fund raiser with the Texas man that joked about rape victims, not Obama!!!!

he has every right to choose who he deems the best candidate. it is amazing how Senator Clinton has so many supporters and is still in so much debt. If you love her so much, pay her bills for her. Senator Obama has ran a structured, professional campaign and it would be unwise to bring someone with the baggage that this woman has. I supported her until I saw how she ran her campaign. it was a disgrace. I am ready for change that I can truly believe in. I cannot wait to get to Denver!

Mccain can not be blamed, he is old and can't remember.

He can't decide or makeup his mind about issues.

On Viagra he doesn't know what to say when asked.

About whinning American he can't say anything about it either.

If the terrorist bomb and kill American it will favour Mccain.

All these words were said from Mccain camp but they were quickly forgotten.
Why ? They were said from Obama's camp.

CNN be fair Mccain himself and his camp have made blunder comments and they are easily been foregetten.

Kevin,
That is because there are the extreme Hillaries who can't stand Obama and then there are the reasonable Hillary supporters who have now shifted to Obama and the others who are on the fence. Hillary's supporters don't fall into one camp. It's just that the extreme Hillaries, small in number, are very vocal.
You're right, on her own merits, Hillary deserves to be considered. But it's all gotten so complex.

Obama has abaondoned the LEFT by coming to the Centre and hence lost the Democratic base. The LEFT or the RIGHT is the base of a Party. these people vote and get the votes out. He will NOT get the women vote. He will not get the hispanic votes. He will not get much of the white vote. The he has Jeremy, Michelle and Jesse Jackson's comments to deal with. Not to forget Two-term democratic President Bill Clinton whose legacy he twisted. Then we have Rezco who is in prison. Too much support from Elitists Kennedy, Kerry, Oprah etc. etc. Now the flip -flop label which most likely will stick. Add to this the attacks from McCain which will only get more vicious. Add to this Wesley Clark.
ANSWER: Take Hillary and Bill will save him from all the mess and get him elected because the Clintons know how to deal with the Republicans. They do not have the Niceguy syndrome like Obama does. The Clintons were always winners and they can make Obama a winner. Ofcourse there is payback.

Hillary has not been fully vetted. The Clintons have never released a detailed list of donors to the Clinton Presidential Library (and Hillary has indicated that she has no intention of doing so), nor have they released an accounting of just where Bill's public speaking fees are coming from or a list of any other deals with which he might be involved. My guess is that releasing this information would put her out of the running for VP. Let's also not forget that little fraud trial coming up this fall....

She's too risky as a VP choice. But she'd make a great Supreme Court justice.

Hillary is only a few Pledged Delegates behind Obama, That means she could pull off the nomination at the convention. Think about it, we could mess up Republican opposition research is we at the convention change the candidate! All of the adds republican's aired would be useless, and Obama's adds and attacks against John McCain would still be valid. Only a few delegates apart, why don't we still nominate Hillary?

Just had dinner with a woman last night. She was african...from Kenya to be exact. I asked her what is the main difference between black africans and black americans. She said "Blacks in America" have a sense of entitlement. They feel the world owes them for
slavery which is why they have under performed in terms of any accomplishment America can boast of outside sports and entertainment. She said its time for them to put the slavery routine to bed and fold the race card. She says all her friends are white. She prefers it that why. She also said black africans have absolutely nothing in common with Black american culture and actually look down on it. You learn something new everyday I guess.

People can give this up b/c I don't think she is going to be the VP. She and Bill (more Bill) have too much baggage attached to them. If she is picked the republicans will bring up all the scandals of the Clinton administration and garner up support for those who utterly despise the Clinton, and believe or not there are some people who still hold resentment towards them. His pick will of course be somebody with extensive military experience, that's a no brainer. Hillary will be in his cabinet over Health Care or something to this extent. Can you image a White House with Barack and Bill and Hillary in it...yeah that aint happening anytime soon.

Wolfson is an complete idiot to make such a public comment. Why speculate publicly on such a touchy issue when you have absolutely no facts to draw on?

This demonstrates the lack of insight and forethought that contributed to Clinton's primary loss. He's not showing any concern beyond his own concerns, or what he thinks are his only concerns. I have two words for him to consider the next time he wants to open his mouth.

I'm an avid supporter of Senator Obama,
I'll go with whomever he deems helps him the most to win the election and in turn, change the direction of the country. Right now, more than 70% of Americans say we're on the wrong track.

If he goes with Senator Clinton, that, in my mind, will be a great choice.
I do ask the former Clinton supporters this.
How would you respond, as if you're Senator Clinton, when asked,
How do you respond to the fact that you said previously that you, quote, had experience and Senator McCain had experience, and with respect to Senator Obama, you'll have to ask him." OR
Sen. Clinton, you said you had this and Sen. Obama gave a speech?

Again, I'm all for her on the ticket if Senator Obama feels she gives the Dems the best chance to win this November. I just don't know how to answer these questions, and other ones surely to come up.

Biden or Bayh are two excellent choices. And with Obama running well right now in Indiana, Bayh makes sense. Except that he loses that Senatorial seat. So, Biden makes sense because the Dems would likely keep that seat.

Then again, maybe Clark as Obama wouldn't have to worry about losing a seat. Who knows? Come last week of August, we'll have a better idea.

Whether or not Barack Obama decides to pursue Hillary Clinton as a running mate is 100% up to him, and him alone. He will not bow in to pressure and trying to pressure him will most likely have a negative impact on her chances.

There are many viable candidates for VP, and it appears that Hillary Clinton doesn't have her arms around her former supporters and so the case being made about him needing to make her a VP in order to secure their support is a weak one.

If her 18 million supporters had raised more than the $100,000 they have so far to bury her campaign debt, I would have sensed their continued support in her future. Since they haven't, I do not.

I agree with Wayne. After you've been in power for so long, it's hard to give up the crown. All Clintons and Bushes need to go away and give someone else a turn. We can survive without a Clinton or a Bush in the White House. Who does Hillary think she is, Evita?

Sa no, hell no to Hillary.

Make no mistake. wolfson is cold and calculating and knows exactly what he doing. He wants the so called hillaryites to get up in arms again and start trying to strongarm Sen Obama into picking her as VP.

Bill and Hill has the same old plan of making sure Obama doesn't win so old girl can run in 2012. after that, she will just be too old.

could someone be that calculating, you ask. We are talking about slick willie, aren't we?

Oh no, the PUMA idiots will be out in full force with this article.

If you morons were really Hillary supporters as you say you are, you'd be following her and voting for Obama to make sure we have a Democrat in the white house and not a continuation of the same failed Bush policies that have sent this country down the toilet these past 7 years.

As a Hillary Clinton supporter, it pains me to see how the Obama's campaign has disregarded the value of Hillary and the 18 million people who voted for her. The day he announces that Hillary Clinton will not be his VP, there will be a good number of people in this country making up their minds about voting republican or deciding to not vote at all in the presidential election.

Obama is acting like George Bush acted after the Florida election, acting as if he won by landslide. The only act of courage that could redeem him, as far as I'm concerned, and would gain him my vote is by selecting Hillary Clinton as Vice President.

Also, his choice of Carolyn Kennedy as part of the VP search committee only showed his out of touch style, another Bush trait. When was the last time Carolyn Kennedy did anything for the coutry, other than his biological connection to President Kennedy?

I'm a very disilussioned Democrat, a Latino Democrat, who is now a gegistered independent. Will never vote for Obama, unless Clinton is part of the ticket.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way in my community.
