Well that all being sad and done only means that Hillary will be President in 2012 after all Obama will lose in November and then McCain will screw the US up for 4 more years and then Hillary will have to come in and clean up after the republicans just like her hubby did.

Anyone who sees Obama winning with out her on the ticket may as well just stay in on election day and save your gas money!

I believe Hillary could be a wonderful VP (although I didn't really like her when I was watching the primary). However, Obama would have to set down some big rules and keep his thumb on things. he could put her in charge of health care or something. He should, however, make her attorney general or give her a cabinet post on Health and Human Services. She would be the best there.

Obama should pick whomever he wants for VP. that's his choice and nobody else's.

I think the problem with Hillary is that she is disingenuous, and represents the "Old" Democratic party. My lack of support for her is due to this fact entirely, and has NOTHING to do with her gender. Also, the notion that she was treated unfairly by the press is total nonsense, she was dishonest and was called on it, period.

I think it's best if she sits this one out and learns how to be truthful. She must do this before she will EVER earn my respect.

I don't want Hillary on the ticket and I hope she's NOT being considered. Too much baggage and then there's Bill. It was stated a few weeks ago that Hillary was not in consideration unless Bill was willing to release his Clinton Foundation donor list which he still refuses to do. Get over it! Clintons are done and it's time to move on. Gen. Wesley Clark has the military/national security issues locked up. His military service record far exceeds John McCain's and Clark definitely has the tested leadership skills that McCain lacks. Someone made a comment about even graduating 894 of 898 from the Naval Academy made McCain better educated than Obama with his Ivy League schools. How about this - Valedictorian of West Point. Gonna have to say that trumps near the bottom of the Naval Academy. And just for kicks let's throw in Rhodes scholar from Oxford. He has the calm demeanor that compliments Obama's, intelligence, tested leadership skills in military situations, and did I mention that his degree from Oxford was in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Obama has abaondoned the LEFT by coming to the Centre and hence lost the Democratic base. The LEFT or the RIGHT is the base of a Party. these people vote and get the votes out. He will NOT get the women vote. He will not get the hispanic votes. He will not get much of the white vote. The he has Jeremy, Michelle and Jesse Jackson's comments to deal with. ANSWER: Take Hillary and Bill will save him from all the mess and get him elected because the Clintons know how to deal with the Republicans. They do not have the Niceguy syndrome like Obama does. The Clintons were always winners and they can make Obama a winner. Ofcourse there is payback.

Hillary has not been fully vetted. The Clintons have never released a detailed list of donors to the Clinton Presidential Library (and Hillary has indicated that she has no intention of doing so), nor have they released an accounting of just where Bill's public speaking fees are coming from or a list of any other deals with which he might be involved. My guess is that releasing this information would put her out of the running for VP. Let's also not forget that little fraud trial coming up this fall....

She's too risky as a VP choice. But she'd make a great Supreme Court justice.

Just had dinner with a woman last night. She was african...from Kenya to be exact. I asked her what is the main difference between black africans and black americans. She said "Blacks in America" have a sense of entitlement. They feel the world owes them for

People can give this up b/c I don't think she is going to be the VP. She and Bill (more Bill) have too much baggage attached to them. If she is picked the republicans will bring up all the scandals of the Clinton administration and garner up support for those who utterly despise the Clinton, and believe or not there are some people who still hold resentment towards them. His pick will of course be somebody with extensive military experience, that's a no brainer. Hillary will be in his cabinet over Health Care or something to this extent. Can you image a White House with Barack and Bill and Hillary in it...yeah that aint happening anytime soon.

I'm an avid supporter of Senator Obama,
I'll go with whomever he deems helps him the most to win the election and in turn, change the direction of the country. Right now, more than 70% of Americans say we're on the wrong track.

If he goes with Senator Clinton, that, in my mind, will be a great choice.
I do ask the former Clinton supporters this.
How would you respond, as if you're Senator Clinton, when asked,
How do you respond to the fact that you said previously that you, quote, had experience and Senator McCain had experience, and with respect to Senator Obama, you'll have to ask him." OR
Sen. Clinton, you said you had this and Sen. Obama gave a speech?

Again, I'm all for her on the ticket if Senator Obama feels she gives the Dems the best chance to win this November. I just don't know how to answer these questions, and other ones surely to come up.

Biden or Bayh are two excellent choices. And with Obama running well right now in Indiana, Bayh makes sense. Except that he loses that Senatorial seat. So, Biden makes sense because the Dems would likely keep that seat.

Then again, maybe Clark as Obama wouldn't have to worry about losing a seat. Who knows? Come last week of August, we'll have a better idea.

Whether or not Barack Obama decides to pursue Hillary Clinton as a running mate is 100% up to him, and him alone. He will not bow in to pressure and trying to pressure him will most likely have a negative impact on her chances.

There are many viable candidates for VP, and it appears that Hillary Clinton doesn't have her arms around her former supporters and so the case being made about him needing to make her a VP in order to secure their support is a weak one.

If her 18 million supporters had raised more than the $100,000 they have so far to bury her campaign debt, I would have sensed their continued support in her future. Since they haven't, I do not.

As a Hillary Clinton supporter, it pains me to see how the Obama's campaign has disregarded the value of Hillary and the 18 million people who voted for her. The day he announces that Hillary Clinton will not be his VP, there will be a good number of people in this country making up their minds about voting republican or deciding to not vote at all in the presidential election.

Obama is acting like George Bush acted after the Florida election, acting as if he won by landslide. The only act of courage that could redeem him, as far as I'm concerned, and would gain him my vote is by selecting Hillary Clinton as Vice President.

Also, his choice of Carolyn Kennedy as part of the VP search committee only showed his out of touch style, another Bush trait. When was the last time Carolyn Kennedy did anything for the coutry, other than his biological connection to President Kennedy?

I'm a very disilussioned Democrat, a Latino Democrat, who is now a gegistered independent. Will never vote for Obama, unless Clinton is part of the ticket.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way in my community.
