I don't think it would be good to have HRC on the ticket as VP. Obama will pick the right person for the right job, and I see HRC as Sec'y of Health and Human Services so that she can continue her life's work on putting an intelligent universal Healthcare Plan together..So my STILLFORHILL friends, vote as you want, but realize that if you are STILLFORHILL, none of her aspirations for continuing the fight for women, children, and universal healthcare will happen unless a Dem is in the WH and we have a super majority in Congress..Period, end of story.

I'm tired of this 2 party crap. Before I die, I'd like to see Americans routinely have a 3rd choice in these important elections. But the 2 established parties tell you "you're wasting your vote" if you vote for a 3rd party candidate. That's simply not true. I wasted my vote by voting AGAINST the Republican Bush (by voting for Kerry, who i didn't like), when I should have voted for a third party candidate, just to build up another option for future elections. I think we can scrap the current election (it's the worst choice of candidates in my lifetime), and start telling these politicians we want more choices by not voting for the 2 party system. Personally, I'll probably vote Nader, but we should all pick someone other than Obama or McCain, no matter how obscure. Let them know we mean it when we say we want change. We need to get the ball rolling. It's not a waste to create more options for the future.

Obama supporters are really mean. They are just mad because they fell for Barack lies and the belong to a cult. They cannot say one good reason they voted for Obama so they have to bash Hillary supporters. Ooh I forgot, the reason they are still hanging on to him is because he lied and said he was leaving Iraq in 16 months and he was all about change. Since he CHANGED and lied to them, they're bitter.

Do people actually believe Hillary would bring back the economy of the 90's? Everybody is tired of business as usual in Washington but the PUMA morons want to elect a bought and paid for politician like Hillary and think something will change. Maybe it is just as simple as the fact that she is female. Either way it is sad.

We need a Washington outsider.

Casey,

You have a real problem...When Bill Clinton was President those
were the best years we had.
Speaking od NAFTA Obama is flip flopping on that issue now, and is
agreeing we need NAFTA.

Let Bill sulk if he wants, who said he had to support Obama. If I
were him, I'd tell Obama to stick it.

Why are Hillary's 18 Million Voters not helping her with her debt? Why do Obama's supporters have to retire a debt that she incurred while trying to smear him, and render him unelectable, despite the fact that there was no concievable way that she could have won???

As a poster said on Cafferty File:

"Where is that kid who sold his bike to donate to Hillary's campaign? I am sure that he has a Train set that he can sell."

Obama is just talking crap. George knew that Dick Cheney was smarter and a better leader than him and could live with that fact. Obama cannot . He is too self centered and thinks himself as the smartest person around. Even though he knows in his heart that Clinton over shadows him in every aspect there is no way that he will allow his muslim teaching to consider a woman. Forget that line of crap . It is never going to happen.

Obama needs to start thinking about whats good for the country. Having Hillery as a VP would be like have a golden team running the United States. We are in serious trouble and we need great leadership, Not GOOD leadership, Great leadership. I believe that the two front runners in an election should always be the President and Vice President. After all, The people said that they wanted one or the other for president SO, The other should be V.P. Thats the way it should always be.

please Obama don't chose her after all she put you through. Moreover she is a woman so full of power that she will think that she is the president. She will want to show the public that you are weaker. Then after your first term she will like to contest against you. She and Bill can be manipulative. I believe strongly in my heart that you will win so don't sell yourself short. You ran a wonderful campaign that is why you worn. You did not win primary to have her as your running mate. PLEASE CNN POST MY COMMENT.

I DID help with her debt-she has the money, it's just that due to rules, she can't use it to pay off primary debts. And she must be on the ticket because she has the knowledge and experience he lacks, plus a base of, oh, 18 million voters! You all act like she was Huckabee with 28 delegates when she finally dropped out. She was about 100 delegates shy of the nomination! To merely shove her aside is not only rude, but dumb. Think back to every modern convention. In a close primary, the 2nd person is offered the VP slot for all those reasons! You Obama folks are all about unity and change, but you can't stand Hillary any more than we can take your pretty boy. And how long before you all are fed up with his changed sides on the issues? He is giving the Republicans much to throw back at him.

I think it was mutual agreement that he does not want her; she does not want the VP. She will do what she must to show loyality to the party. The DNC treated her like crap but she remains loyal---what choice does she have? Anyone running with Obama will be playing craps with their political future. He may win because GWB has been the worst President in history; Obama may top that record. After all, it is GWB's arrogance that caused such problems. (He was so arrogant he believed if he wanted Iraqis to fall down in gratitude, they would.) Obama's arrogance makes GWB look humble.

can anyone here say that they are not affected by the economy, war, gas prices? can any one here say that they are not concerned about their kids education, jobs and their health care? we as a country stand at a threshold, we have a chance to change our Nation, thus changing the world...not in the way Bush did, but we have the opportunity to make our country great again. i do not believe we can do that with a Mccain administration, not because he is Republican, not because he voted 95% of the time with Bush...i have researched McCain and frankly...this man scares the hell out of me. you don't have to go further than the USS Forrestal...but there is so much more.

It doesn't matter who the VP is as long as the Republicans are not allowed in the White House next year. Whoever can help keep the GOP from power for the next 4 years is just fine with me. I sure how the Obama campaign gets it right.

Obama / Whoever will help defeat the Republicans '08

I don't understand why women blame Obama for any perceived "mistreatment" of Hillary. Obama treats his wife like a queen, and speaks so highly of his mother's influence in his life. He has been exceptionally gracious to Hillary, when he could have brought up all of the 90's issues.
On the other hand, Bill Clinton disrespected his wife about as much as any man could - and perhaps still is, according to some sources. When McCain was slightly younger than Obama, he was cheating on his disabled wife, then divorced her in favor of a much younger woman.
Now who do you really think will address women's issues as president?

I love it. Hillary is good enough to vote for and lead this country, but when she loses the nomination fairly and she asks her voters to stand behind Obama, they will not.

Obama is not perfect ... but the policies that he will support and try to establish are much more in line with what I am looking for in a candidate than those that McCain supports.

Call it what you want ... but from the outside looking in, considering that Hillary and Obama are almost a political mirror of each other (which Hillary herself stated " ... our differences are small ..."), it sure does look like the Hillary supporters who are claiming to stay at home or vote for McCain, are nothing but bitter, sore losers who are destined to see another 4 years of Bush administration policies because their candidate lost. Wake up and get over it.

PUMA's ... LOL.

If Obama offers Hillary the VP position, I hope she will refuse it. Let the stupid lose by himself in November, don't get involved.

Many Democrats will never vote for Obama, with or without Hillary on the ticket. They will better accept/support a McCain compromise for 4 years which will give Hillary a better chance to run again in 2012.

Obama is Mr. Flip-Flop who set a bad example of campaigning (mockery, manipulation, tricks). Why would he be a good president? This guy already proved to be a liar.

The top five reasons Obama supporters do not like Hillary. Now listen folks these are some of the dumbest reasons i've ever heard in my entire adult life.

1. Her last name is Clinton
2. She ran a bad campaign
3. She's a women
4. Bill is her husband
5. She's mean

Not one of the reasons has absolutely anything to do with her policies, or the fact that she wants universal healthcare for everyone and Obama does not.

No way Jose. NO "Hillbilly" in the Obama White House, talk about disaster! Yikes.

And that October suprise that everyone talks about? Well if she's on the ticket, the "surprise" would be this:

She's scheduled to go on trial sometime this fall, I think in October.

So let's be real folks, Hillary just doesn't work as his choice...way way too much baggage, and I'm not talking about the one she married or the ones under her eyes.

GO OBAMA 08 & 12

This past week I had the priviledge to attend a nationally focused democratic forum. During that event I met many hard working State level persons who were with Senator Obama through the primaries. Trust me, I learned a lot of what happened on the campaign trail. And, I won't repeat them here. Deliberate political dirty tricks from the Clinton's and their camp toward Obama. They obviously would do anything and I mean anything to win. Because of that and other tawdry reasons, I ask why would he want HRC around again? She can't wash the dirt and mud off of herself to be presentable to America at any level much less be at Barack's side. This is one sixty something female Obamacan that will never go near a Clinton. It is time for change and Hope..........let's take a look at the seriousness of our economy and the war, and put the Clinton saga to rest. No more...it is over HRC.

Hillary who? Get over it, the Clintons have been in control of a dying party for far too long. Even Barack, as the new "party leader" fails to address issues of importance to most Americans; rather, just like McCain, he addresses issues by kissing butts with an eye on pleasing all of the fractured minorities rather than touching the reforms that people want.

Illegals don't vote and people without jobs have every right to be angry with a government that is more concerned with dumping money into other countries for the benefit of American corporations, than with the welfare of its own citizens.

Senator Obama has no good choices other than Senator Hillary Clinton but I would not suggest that she join the arrogant guy who has no moral center or core principles. She is too good for Obama! :)

As for Bill Clinton, he would be the best thing that could happen for Obama. If Obama really wants to win not just one but two terms, he will work hard to convince Hillary to join him as VP.

Otherwise, he will lose in 2008 and 2012! :)

So a candidate goes out, solicits sufficient money and handles his campaign effectively and another does not solicit enough money and handles hers ineffectively. What does that say about the candidate's managements skills and appeal to voters? In a lot of ways, the fundraising is the "first primary": most of Obama's opponents dropped out when they failed to raise enough money to conduct a campaign. Point: THEY DID NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT SUPPORT!

Hillary didn't have sufficient support, but she tried to pay her own way. She should have dropped out like the others! This was an entirely democratic process and the people have spoken as they will again in November.

I think that Bill Clinton does complicate things. He complicated HiIary's campaign a great deal and Obama is nervous that he may do the same to his campaign. If not for this, Hilary would probably have a lot better chance of being chosen.

I said it before, W/O Clinton Obama can not get elected. But what is more troubling is the way Obama is moving toward the center in regards to the war. He is starting to sound more like a politcian that will stay with the status quo. He talks a good game, but that is all he is about. THere is no change wiht Obama, just another worthless politican. This country has not had a decent President since Kennedy

Senator -

You need someone ...

1.) you can trust & work with as a partner when you deem it appropriate.
2.) that you can delegate tasks to, and be confident that they will get completed as you want them to be completed.
3.) that can GUARANTEE you a huge RED state that you would not otherwise get.
4.) ready to be president if something should happent to you
5.) that mutes McCain's percieved wisdom, experience, and the superficiall allure of his POW status.
6.) some that pulls white men in the south.
7.) Smart enough and yet smooth enough to show up McCain and his running mate in the debates.
8.) would be capable, willing and acceptable to the entire US population in 2016 to continue the Democratic juggernaut.

- - - - - - - - - - -

Hillary isn't very experienced as a leader despite what her supports say

1979 to 1981 and also 1983 - 1992

Wife of the Governor of Arkansas ... also refered to as the 1st Lady of Arkansas (not an elected office ... no duties)

1992- 2000

Wife of the President of the United States also referred to as the 1st Lady of the America (not an elected office ... no duties)

2000- 2008

After moving the State of New York in 2000 to she is elected to US Senate to represent its citizens.

Can someone explain to me how even a small percentage of HRC voters, voting for McCain will make Obama lose? We have 51 separate elections in this country (electoral college rather than popular vote), and the HRC supporters are spread throughout. We know for a fact that not all 18 million are childish enough to vote AGAINST their best interests, so they will vote for the candidate most like their own, Obama. Then you have to factor in all of the new or unlikely votes that are in play this year. Is there a PUMA out there that can explain exactly what their strategy is?

Obama's lying again. He's lying to Hillary supporters and pretends that he's put her on his VP shortlist so that he can get their support. In the end, he'll not ask Hillary as his VP -- I can guarantee this!!!

She should be at the top of the list . . . she received 18 million votes and many of us that supported her have great concerns about Obama who is beginning among other things is beginning to show his true colors . . just like every other politician. He's fooled some but not all of us and the media has, except for FOX, never even vetted him.
