I contributed small amounts three times during the campaign against Clinton. However, I have not been happy with the things he's been doing/saying lately. I was totally unhappy with his vote to give amnesty to the telecommunications companies. THan he tells us that it will be negotiated out of the final bill -- huh? Does he think we're stupid? All I look are results.

I will vote for him. He's better than McCain. I don't plan to contribute more money.

The treachery Obama used in the primary to knock out the best candidate and to get himself installed as the democratic nominee can not and WILL not stand.

Many of us believe in fair campaigns, free elections, and counting the votes.

Even though he is the ONLY democrat, and this is a really important election, we will not bow down to racism, strong-arm tactics, and the politics of hating fellow democrats- JUST to steal the nomination.

I don't care if we democrats DO lose in NOV.

That is the price to pay for fixing the nomination for Obama.

DNC, Dean, Pelosi, Celebrities, Oprah, Media.... take note! The people of America will not permit you to pick our nominee for us. We will not accept such slanted, biased pro-Obama, anti-Hilllary coverage. We will not accept crude jokes and sexism against the female candidate. We will not let you play the race card to win. We will not fall prey to your race-baiting divisive tactics.

I am just appalled by the amount of money that ANY of these campaigns have raised...especially in a "recession." Who's making the money off these campaigns? Ad companies, the airlines...is it boosting our economy?

It is not one bit surprising how deep the pockets of the fat-cat Republicans are. Too bad this money can't be used to something more beneficial than to broadcast over our airways the same-ole, same-ole garbage over and over.

These articles about how wealthy the campaigns are are just plain hard to read when so many people are suffering in this Bush-economy! Maybe Bush and his Republican cronies should be paying to get this country out of debt and people back on their feet!

I would give the MSM what money I could if they would just start VETTING John McCain!!!! Look throughout the websites, the TV shows, the newspapers. It's all about challenging Obama and his quest for the presidency. McCain basically gets away with whatever he wants and the MSM just lets him.

Oh, and of course we still have the sore loser Clinton freaks who will vote against their own beliefs just because their candidate did not win.
As Jim Carrey says: La-La-La-Losers!!!

Democrates we need to focus on electing a president or we will help to elect a Republican, I could think of nothing worse.

I think Hillary Clinton should pay or collect funds for her own campaign debt. Remember she had the early big donors, and she chose to continue after running out of cash.

DO WE WANT 4 MORE YEARS OF REPUBLICAN RULE?????

The Obama people tried to say that republicans were voting for HRC- not true.

The so-called cross over appeal Obama claimed to have- was a hoax. Those were the republicans who tried to bring chaos to the party.

They voted- at Obama's request- for Obama to knock HRC out.

Now Obama and the democrats and the country will have to pay the price for those games to win the nomination.

Obama has NO mandate.

The republicans financed him to help eliminate HRC from the race.

Everyone thought it was Obama's "cross over appeal"...

I warned as much.

FEW TRUE DEMOCRATS supported or voted for Obama.

He was a myth created by Oprah and the media and marketed via the internet.

Obama just fooled his newbies and himself into thinking he was something.

His ego did him in.

The more he preaches, the more we see how full of himself and self-impressed this man is.

he will sacrifice anyone and anything for his personal gain:
Hillary,
the democratic party,
his white granny,
Rev Wright,
his own children
Jesse Jackson
FISA,
IRAQ
the economy.

HE WASTED ENOUGH MONEY TO FEED A SMALL NATION- on his arrogant self-promotion. Hopefully to NO avail.

Wise up People... stop being sheople following Oprah and the media hype of this hypocritical, pandering, typical dirty politician.

Calling all Hillary Supporters, please help pay down her debt.

To all supporters of Obama, money sent to the Obama campaign can not be transfered to Hillary, it will be against the law.

It would be great if some fair minded journalist would write about this.

I keep hearing that John McCain was not born in the United States. If that is true, then according to Article 2 of the US Consitution - Qualifications clause to be the president--he is not eligible to be president. A person must have been born in the US. If that's true, then get him the heck out.

Shock! The Republicans are trying to buy an election? Guess it's either that or steal it.

Don't get too worried about what happens in July. It doesn't mean much until the VP picks and the conventions. I am glad McCain wants to debate. It's going to be one of those "be careful what you wish for moments".

Do the Clintons and their fanatical supporters (not the sensible ones who supported them with the expected amount of vigor and commitment...not them. I'm talking about the bi-polar, crying maniacs) still think the prolonged and abusive primary was a good thing?

I do not believe that all of these people who claim to be angry Hillary supporters are the real thing. Having so much uncontrollled rage for so long is highly unlikely. At some point people have to get back to their lives.

Voting for McCain is just illogical. Only a small number of people are stupid enough to make life tough on themselves and their families for four years just to make a political statement.

Even Hillary says voting for McCain is stupid. Are these PUMA people angry with her now too?

PUMA = GOP Trolls

Hey Obama supporters,

Michelle Obama recently said that she couldn't buy a decent pair of earrings with the $600 tax rebate that some of us received.

This is who you want to support. Wake up America!

For those who call themselves democrats voting for Mccain. Sorry you're no democrat.
I was 100 percent Hillary. I shook a lot of Obama supporters hands at the Texas Democatic conventions. As I shook there hand I told them I'm a true democrat. Once the Texas Convention was over I was going 100 percent Obama(once she concided). This is the only way to win your state.
Helping the other candidate pay bills goes along way back, this is nothing new. Help Hillary pay the bills keep honor in the democratic party. Then lets get on with helping the next president of the united states. President Obama ---Get used to it.

I think this is just another example of how conservatives are better at being guardians of our money. Democrats whether it is Barack or Hillary have proven to spend wrecklessly and their answer to their inability to reduce costs is to just raise our taxes and hurt our economy and put our jobs at jeopardy.

America wants the BEST candidate.

We resent that HRC was pushed, forced and hated out of the race.

We do not care for the hateful, dirty, politics of manipulating the media to gut and destroy your opponent.

We did not care for the political gang rape of HRC we were made to witness: Celebrities, Media, Obama, his campaign, Dean, Pelosi, the DNC, the superdelegates...

Why? Because race trumps gender and everyone BUT the voters decided that Obama would be the selected and installed nominee of the once democratic party.

I have donated to the DNC in 1992, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2006.

Of course, that was back in the good old days when they counted ALL the votes from ALL the states!

Obama and/or the DNC will not get a cent from me until and unless Hillary is VP.

Of course the RNC is rich, they've issued tax cuts to themselves and padded the lobbying corporations pocketbooks for the last 7 yrs. They've also had 7 yrs of excess donations and how many more months to fundraise unchallenged?

This is like a peasant going up against royal pocketbooks or a no-name quaterback applicant vs the coaches kid.

Carrie Goodeagle Hayden, Idaho July 14th, 2008 2:57 pm ET

I'm sending my third $25.00 this Friday, which is my payday. I work at a hospital and know what a mess Healthcare is in. We need a one payer plan for all. Go Obama (and Hillary thanks for all you do for healthcare).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ralph Nader is the only candidate with a true single-payer healthcare plan. You might want to send that 25 bucks to him.

Who wants a candidate who inspires such hate and vulgarity in his own supporters.... and who says and does NOTHING to stop that intra-party divisiveness?

In short who wants an unethical, race-baiting, self-impressed, cocky egotistical candidate who made a premature grab for the presidency?

The Celebrity bandwagon, pop idol craze, rock star status, media bias, race card, and cheating will carry you just SO far.

When Obama mocked, jeered, ridiculed and demeaned Hillary Clinton- and even Bill's presidency- he lost most of the democratic party base. Those were the life long democrats who strongly supported- and loved, not hated- the Clintons.

When his vitriolic supporters used the strategy of vile, filthy, vulgar, crude sexual innuendos, gender putdowns, blatant sexism, reverse-racism, cultural slurs in a campaign of hatred and insults against fellow democrats, many more would-be supporters abandoned Obama for good.

As the Briish say, "Spot On"
I think the New Yorker got it right, or is that Wright.
The only thing missing is something with Rev Wright in it.
American Flag burning in the fireplace, Bin Laden's picture over the fireplace, AK-47 toting wife, and the knuckle fist touch.

It may be taseless or thought of a poor humor, but it's an image lots of Americans, true Americans, anti-racist Americans, and Americas who love America can relate to.

giving money to the republicans is like a bad date:
use ya ,abuse ya,then lose ya.
the business interests will always trump
the average american's
and the gop is their hand maiden.
you may not like obama
but are you going to trust the same cabal
that got us in this spot today.(no it wasn't the socialists)
ignoring phil gramm( who as vice chairman of ubs is not
under the same economic cloud as we are)
we are not whiners,we are tired of the lies told to feather
big business' pockets at our expense.
vote for mccain ,cuz the rich could always use more of your money

Aw gee, the Strawman is beginning to disintegrate. If we're hearing what's being said when mikes are "inadvertently" left on, can you just imagine what's being said when they're off? Bye-bye, Bambi-- and the pathetic Dems you rode in on!

OUTSOURCE THE PRESIDENCY!

It is humourous all of the Clinton supporters who are relishing in Obama's fundraising and they are too cheap to pay off her debt. Seems more than a little hypocritical.

McCain is using loopholes in his own bill in order to raise this money; so much for honourable!!

I give to Obama every time I can, but we all know the fat-cat Republicans will spend HUGE to keep their hands in the till after this election is over. Bush's "donors" have made HUGE profits and they aren't about to let the opportunity to make more slip away. Besides giving money, we have to stand strong to help Obama win. Right now he is fighting against the Repulican money machine, the obvious media bias (not to mention 24/7 Fox Noise), the internet lies and is still standing. Any other Democrat would be dog meat by now.

Yet another excuse by the Obama campaign to avoid talking about relevant political issues, and try to gain votes by pretending to be the 'victim' of something.
