Who Cares?

Thomas. Illinois   July 15th, 2008 1:42 am ET

Oh, come on Jesse, I wanted to see you debate Al Frankan…

Marc PDX   July 15th, 2008 1:20 am ET

I just figured it out… Jesse is going to be Obama's running mate!

Marc PDX   July 15th, 2008 1:18 am ET

Darn! Jesse Ventura vs. Al Franken. Real life would have been more improbable than fiction!

Tracy   July 15th, 2008 1:13 am ET

Jesse Ventura is a good man, but it is already a 2 person race. I'd like to see Al Franken in there, an intellectual and a thoughtful person.

Raymond Duke   July 15th, 2008 1:12 am ET

He is an idiot but he might as well run for the senate . The person he is running against is Al Franken. You talk about a main loser and a total idiot. Minnesota needs to take their state back from these left wing nut cases. The good regular people of minnesota need to get out and vote. Lord knows that state has elected muslims and every nut around.

JerryMerry   July 15th, 2008 1:03 am ET

So what state will he run in?

Charlie   July 15th, 2008 12:46 am ET

The threat to run was just about publicity. Minnesota would never make the same mistake twice and he knows it.

Judith Semler   July 15th, 2008 12:30 am ET

Jesse's not running for the Senate from MN? Thank God! Four unproductive, devisive years with him in the Governor's office were enough. It's unfortunate that the country is titillated by him, much as they are with Britney Spears and the Jolie-Pitt babies. . . .it's just garbage! He's not the answer to our needs in MN or the country.

Disenchanted in MN

Audrey Temple   July 15th, 2008 12:29 am ET

Please, Jesse, RUN! We need a strong Independent in Congress!

Lucas, Nashville TN   July 15th, 2008 12:29 am ET

Good.

FRANKEN FOR THE WIN!

Jose Card - Independent   July 15th, 2008 12:14 am ET

I hope it is not The New Yorker that had scared Ventura off.
It's just satire. People should watch more South Park to understand the Obama cover. Do we all have to be politically correct all the time?

RJ, CA   July 15th, 2008 12:10 am ET

Good, Jesse! These are serious times. YOU are not in that league!

All that hype was just to sell his book.
This guy is a typical politician.

Ula Nejad- Sacramento Ca   July 14th, 2008 10:24 pm ET

Wow! I guessed it right that it was the media before I even read the full story. Anyone running for public office should consider if he or she is ready for the media. Media rules. Take it or leave it is the message from Ventura.

Voter   July 14th, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Too bad. Ventura is a lot more fun than Franken, who is oh-so-serious now that he wants something. People in Minnesota will ask themselves tomorrow why they traded in a perfectly good wrestler for a mediocre comedian.

Franken is a foul mouthed jerk. I can't wait to hear him on the Senate floor. No bad language there, please, although it's made you a million bucks. Check your mouth at door, Franken.

Of course Minnesota will elect him because they're not too bright in Minnesota.

Thank God.

RJ, CA   July 14th, 2008 10:06 pm ET

Good, Jesse! These are serious times, and you would add NOTHING to solve ANYTHING!

Then this story is pointless….
