Do I think he is naive, effete, northern liberal, Woody Guthrie or Mother Jones worst nightmare... yes. But at least he doesn't call day 'night' and up 'down' or just throw out insults for no reason at all. The northern mountain region is tough... which may explain why we struggle there... but Pakistan has been "Fairly" easy to work with... as easy as any mid east country we've dealt with.

What a naive fool. Nations that have such weapons will not give them up... nor will the United States. He can sing Kumbaya all he wants, but no U.S. Congress, even one run by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, will support the total nuclear disarmament he has suggested. Obama would be up against tremendous opposition if he tries such a move, and in doing so he'll certainly insure a loss of seats for the democrats in the 2010 elections.

For those of you who wrote (or believe) that "...Obama has plans to secure these weapons," exactly what are his "plans?" He doesn't have any plans, he simply offers empty promises and sophomoric platitudes that gullible people accept at face value. "Please destroy all your nasty weapons and we'll double foreign aid to your country" is not a plan, it's a useless plea from a weak-kneed fool. The people who believe he can eliminate these weapons are the same people who think a federal ban on handguns will prompt the criminal to turn in their weapons and apply for 9-to-5 jobs.

Or the posters on this topic who refer to Obama as "boy", or say he has a "nice shoeshine shuffle", or wonder why CNN is still in "Black History Month".

You want to say he has no experience, fine. I can say McCain has the wrong kind of experience and he has taken his experience and flopped on his beliefs to make Rush, Hannity, Coulter, and O'Reilly happy.

But the posters who say he is going to bring the country to ruin or turn it into an Islamic state are beyond pathetic.
