Ok, boys and girls....now settle down.....I am going to ask a question and I want everyone who thinks the answer is YES to raise their hands.....

Does McSenile use Viagra?

Does McSenile get campaign contributions from pharmaceuticals like the ones who peddle Viagra?

Does McSenile have a selective memory?

Does McSenile sometimes remind you of Goldmembers' Fa-Ja?

Does McSenile have selective memory?

Does McSenile stand a chance in hades of ever coming across as a genuine human being?

Thank you for your participation boys and girls.

to G
At least McCain is old enough to remember how to respect people especially women. you don't hear him slandering is grandmother just to make a political point. and I'm sure he is man enough to plunge the toilet and take out the trash. which is all more than we can say for his holiness obama. and if you are one of those people that learned how to shoot a gun then maybe he can ridicule you like he did Hillary calling her Annie Oakley. if women are to move forward it will not be by obama's effort.

Unfortunate to see McCain taken so off-guard by such a simple question that relates to the needs of a huge percentage of women.

Republicans can go after Obama all they want on his "experience", but that will never change that Obama actually has the ABILITY to answer and address issues like these. McCain just wants to bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran and kill off the rest of the Iranians with cigarettes, and then presumably start sending shipments of viagra to Checkoslovakia. Impressive that he apparently has the ability to travel through time to countries that no longer exist....

And that's what "experience" gets you....

It's about time that ads are being made that feature McSenile in his true fashion. They should make 101 flip-flops in 1 min next.

PUMA, I understand you are angry but look at this objectively. It took him 8 sec. to come up with the answer, "I am not that informed." Plus he's against social security on top of that. I wouldn't hire this guy to mow my lawn.

Does it occur to anyone that the question is illogical and unfair? The question suggests that men and women are treated differently because insurance carriers will pay for Viagra but not birth control. Actually, insurance carriers won't pay for birth control for men or women. Plans that cover sterilization will pay for either a vasectomy or a tubal ligation. Viagra treats a dysfunction of the male reproductive system that happens to be unique to men and has nothing to do with birth control. I’m no fan of McCain but the question was illogical. If insurance carriers were treating men and women differently for the same physical condition that would be unfair but that is not the case here.

Viagra and Birth Control ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!

Viagra is used to propagate the species. The other is for pleasure.

Without viagra, some couples would not be able to reproduce. Birth control is not for the good of society. It is for the good of the ndividual. Therefore, it should be available, but not covered!!!

Also, remember when Bill Clintons sexual life came into question, and whether or not Hillary and him were getting it on. Liberals were outraged. But, now, it's OK to discuss!!! Hypocrites!

What percentage of us actually has the luxury of choosing our insurance? Most of us have to make do with whatever our employers offer us, thereby rendering the idea of competition within the industry irrelevant to the majority of Americans.

McCain is well beyond the stage of being able to get it up unless he uses a popsickle stick to prop it upright. C'mon people, the guy doesn't use the internet so I'm sure he's probably never even heard of Viagra before and if he did he forgot. John McCain propably thinks that Viagra is a terrorist orginization and we should probably bomb them before they start hating us for our freedom!

Hmm... how does not supporting birth control equal to not being supportive of women's rights? Last time I checked it takes 2 to make a baby.

And I'm tired of you Dems crying about how everything isn't "fair". It's "unfair" to cover Viagra and not BC. Guess what? Life isn't fair, deal with it. You Dems cry about everyhing. Insurance is a private business. If they don't cover something, too bad.

For dollor, you think this is not controversial. You must be a man. Viagra is taken by many men across this country who are not "old" as you so state. Now, if you think it is okay to advertise Viagra and have insurance companies pay for this drug but not birth control, I am sure you would not mind paying for the thousands of children across this country who are being raised by single parents, and what would you suggest would be adequate compensation for a woman who works in excess of 2-3 jobs to raise and support a child after a man walks out the door and never looks back. Child support, come on, do you honestly think it contributes to all equally across the land to what is needed to raise a child. Think again. Some amounts are set as low as 25.00 a week. From the single father standpoint, I would venture there are thousands across the land that were denied child support when raising their children while their wives were with other men simply because they were threatened with loss of custody. Come into the real world. You must be sitting in a utopia.

I understand the man is pandering to the religious, anti-choice, anti-contraception, pro-Stepford Wife, high-dollar nut job donor base here, but by doing so he insults the intelligence of the rest of America. Ouch indeed!

I saw the ad. It was good. But the ad is missing the second part where the reporter followed McCain's answer with the question: but you voted on a bill that required insurance companies to pay for Viagra but not birth control. That second part of the incident really drove the whole thing home -- McCain voted on a bill against women, but when pressed on the issue, his excuse is that he does not know enough about it.

More then the Viagra and Birth Control issue, look at McCain's *response* to the question.

Would you want him doing that on the international stage, when addressing the UN, or during a press conference? We've already had eight years of an inebriated simian who is barely capable of coherent speech, we don't need a senile guy whose mind idles awkwardly for several agonizing seconds while the gears slip trying to figure out what he wants to say.

That's unacceptable.

So he doesn't know enough about it so rather than stick his foot in his mouth and spit out something that is crap he says he doesn't know. That's a heck of a lot better than someone just spitting out the PC answer and not actually knowing anything. The president has an entire group of people (the Cabinet) that figures stuff out like that - the best president isn't necessarily the smartest one but the one who surrounds himself with smart people... The most dangerous president is one who thinks he is so smart he doesn't need feedback/opinions - I'm MORE likely to vote for McCain since he doesn't speak to stuff which he doesn't know about...

This is a great ad. Good job Planned Parenthood. If the media won't address this stuff, then someone should pick up the pieces.

This is an amazing point that McCain should of had an opinion to. What is more important to our society? Viagra, or birth control?

In his defense, there were probably too many conflicting thoughts that he was scared to give an opinion. Not wanting to offend the Catholics who might be against birth control, not wanting to scare off the viagra users, and not wanting to look like Bob Dole and endorsing Viagra

But i think he was scared that he was going to get caught with viagra pills.

So what. PUMA I remain. It would take a lot more than this to dissuade me from casting a vote for McCain so as to help ensure that Nobama's carry to the White House is halted.

As an aside, it's interesting the number of "old geezer" type remarks about McCain that Obama supporters feel free to make. Yet, they do nothing but cry and whine anytime anyone begins to level any criticism at their Chosen One. Hmmmm. Wonder who the hypocrites are now?????

I haven't seen the commercial, but I saw the Q&A it was based on.

Does the ad include that precious moment when he goes bug-eyed? Total panic.

It was just the SAME as one of our other Presidents who stammered and hemmed and hawed at questions that were not pre-written (or tossed at them by gay porn stars posing as journalists.) Who was that. . . oh, yeah . . . it was just the SAME as W. Bush!!!

Paging all PUMAs, PUMAs please report to the blog.....

(crickets chirping)

Oh yeah, this is a comment that shows how poor of a mistake they'd be making to move from supporting Clinton to supporting McCain, instead of Obama. Don't worry though, sure they'll come back out of their caves and just pretend like this McCain incident didn't happen, until he does something like it again.

Their votes, if they are who the say they are and now for McCain, are only delusional, self serving acts and shows their real lack of support for this country, it's citizens, and their own gender.

I hear McCain's comment as an attempt to provide an honest-straight answer, rather than opting to answer with an embellished response based on what the questioner expected to hear. That kind of moral strength and fiber is what I want from a leader.
I hope, trust, and pray that those entities and institutions who chose to further their own cause by exploiting this via commercials will be seen as what they are by US voters.
I am surprised at the preponderance of comments that appear to be based on a perception of reality altered by ignorance or by personal bias.

The bigger problem by far is making birth control pills widely available in Third World regions where populations are skyrocketing out of control.
Not only should birth control pills be covered under insurance plans...but the U.S. should adopt a program to subsidize disbursement to areas that have shortages of food and over-population.

Wake up America McCain's answer to everything is let the markets decided. Well the markets have decided the rates for interest on loans and mortgages so there is one clue. The markets decide on the cost of health insurance and what coverage you can expect to get so there is another clue.

How about the biggie let the markets decide where the products will be manufactured as corporations are more concerned with the country's welfare than profits so there is a real big clue.

As far as women's rights are concerned McCain has gone against them on each and every issue but how many women will become of aware of this and vote in their own best interest? That's the biggie!!

McCain is anti-women! He persistently votes against women. I don't understand how any female or lover of females, sons, husbands brothers, boyfriends, could ever even consider voting for McCain.

The PUMA people and others who were formerly for Hilary and are now for for McCain get me the most. The man called Hillary a B and laughed when someone else did both on national TV. He called his own wife a C and left his first wife after deciding that she was no longer attractive after a near-fatal car accident.

What is wrong with you people?!

What is wrong with you people?!

Now, let's be fair -- after all, how can McCain answer a single question without Lieberman whispering in his ear?

All you PUMAs need to get over yourselves, and see what a vote for McCain will do to you and your daughters.

This is easy: Viagra is for a medical condition. Birth Control is a choice.
I think a more important point would be why don't insurence companies cover drugs to stop smoking?

He says he is in favor of women picking their own policies allowing for MCP and nixing Viagra. Does he not realize that the majority of people on insurance are on work policies? We all can't afford to get a specific policy that costs hundreds of dollars more per month, to pick and choose whether we get BCP or viagra. He voted AGAINST BCP being covered, when he voted.

I don't understand why the media has not covered more of his gaffes and blunders. I realize that it would appear to be biased, however, he needs to be known by the American Public, and they need to know how he doesn't understand things, and how he has flip flopped on issues that he has voted against or for for the past 20 years.

well if you asked obama, he would have to make a speech after he answered the question as it was loaded and whatever you said on the spot would be dissected by the opposition. at least his (McCain's ) health plan will allow you to chose one that is suited to what you need and be portable unlike his highness obama's
