Ok an earlier comment stated racism is deciding this race. I know that are not an african american by that very comment. Now being another race is fine but not seeing the reality is not. Racism has had something to do with elections since the creation of the USA period. I want all of America to be great. We are only as great as our weakest part. Obama wants Americans on a whole to be successful and healthy and mayb put us on a path where race doesn't matter.

The polls don't mean anything! The American people are finally seeing Obama for who he really is, and that is he is like every other politician! Pandering and saying anything to get himself elected.

I for one will NOT vote for some inexperience, no talent, egotistic, person that comes across as if he thinks he is better than others. What a JOKE!

The ONLY way that he will get my vote is if he puts Hillary Clinton on the ticket, other wise, I will be voting for McCain.

People are so caught up in the team hysteria that they will literally follow Satan through the gates of hell. All thats important to most of the Dems here is WIN. Win no matter if their candidate is the least qualified individual in the history of the United States. No matter if he shows no consistency of rhetoric, policy or even hour to hour. This is not a game you people need to consider more thoughtfully who you are electing to be the most powerful man in the world. Hitler had lots of charisma and the same sort of mesmerizing ability that Barak Obama has shown. Doesn't make him a viable president. Of course I don't expect this to be posted as almost anything that is not in step with the CNN agenda never gets published. Honestly, I don't know why I even bother to look at the site.

My friends and I are having an Obama voting party in November. After everyone has voted, we're meeting at my place. We plan to have chilli and pumpkin pie, since they're some of his favorite foods. We will also chew minty gum, as well. It should be a fun party.

As I recall Dukakis was up by double digits for the entire summer of 1988 before conventions and the fall campaign. Before he was defined.

Interesting how all who did not choose Obama or McCain were placed into the "undecided" category. I'll bet that the only choices offered in the poll were Obama and McCain.

As hard as both the Democrats and Republicans, as well as the MSM are working to brainwash the American public into the 2-party system, I llok for this year's winner to receive less than 50% of the poular vote, with third-party candidates picking up as much as 20% of the total vote.

It's time for the 2-party system to die. I for one will not be voting for either McCain or Obama.

Obama will shoot himself in the foot, and raise serious questions about his commitment to progressive government if he picks Sam Nunn as his VP. Nunn has been very public in his homophobia, and even fired two of his Senate staff when he found out they were gay.

I am not gay, but I like most Americans who do not believe that discrimination toward gay people is acceptable. With good VP candidates like Sebelius, Rendell, and Strickland, why is Obama even considering Nunn?

Note to Barack: It's the economy, stupid. Nunn brings you very little on foreign policy, and voters care even less about it.

Obama's proposed spending bill doesn't add up , do the math.

If he continues to get regular spots on talk shows like he did last night on Larry King Live , his poll numbers will continue to go up and up. He sounded confident, knowledgeable and he inspired confidence. The Comedian miss hap last week with the “I just mess’ in with you man “ comment hurt him as that comment did not sound presidential in print and contrasted greatly with his typical professor like dialog, which works for well him and is more natural for him.

Other polls show Obama with only a 3% lead. CNN has been Obama Country since the beginning, so it's not surprising that they only publish favorable Obarfa polls. Even with that, SIX WHOLE POINTS – WOW!!!!!!!! Even DUKAKIS was further ahead at this point! And once Mr. stumbling, bumbling, mumbling the only thing I change is my mind – and that's on a daily basis – Oblahblah makes his usual fool of himself in the debates (that is, if he ever works up the guts to debate – maybe Jesse should give him back his private parts), McCain will pull way ahead. I bet the undemocratic party is not too thrilled with their selected not elected candidate right about now.

Banking problems, gas prices, increased cost of food...the list goes on and on. All of these problems have become dramatically worse since the democrats took control of the Senate. I have heard that the approval rating for Congress is now in the single digits – great leadership Barack!
Does he really want to add another member of a pathetic Congress to his ticket? Sooner or later, people will realize that it is the Democrats, not Republicans in control of the legislature. In fact, the Illinois senator has proposed $150 billion in spending over 10 years for biofuels, plug-in hybrids, low-emission coal plants and the rapid commercialization of other new, clean energy technologies. The ad also recycles the misleading claim that Obama has said "no" to nuclear. Obama said he is open to nuclear if it is clean and safe. And while the ad correctly says that Obama is against lifting the gas tax and against more production "here at home" (read: lifting the federal ban on more offshore oil drilling), neither of those steps is likely to be a "solution" for the problems at hand.

Obama is young, up-to-date and knowledgable. McCain is old, out-of-date, out-of-touch and totally ignorant. What's to choose? McSame won't see this because he can't use the I-Net, he admits he knows from nothing about the economy (the major issue this campaign) and, by falling into lockstep with Bushleague, he shows he knows nothing about military affairs either (with the war being the second major issue) I will be surprised if the poll that counts, the one in November, doesn't show Obama more than 6 points ahead.
