What more can you say about a candidate who knows how to gather the very best minds on foreign policy in the country as advisors? Is this not refeshiung after eight years of missteps by the GOP who always thought they knew it all and did not? Remember Rumsfeld anyone? How about Antonio Gonzales? How about G Dubya himself?
Sam Nunn and Evan Bayh are excellent choices for VP! Now through in Chuck Hagel and we truly have a trifecta!

Some bloggers who claim to be Hillary-supporters also claim never to have heard of Evan Bayh or Sam Nunn. They give themselves away. Hillary's supporters are not that ignorant. These bloggers are McClain agents in what they think is disguise, and not very good at it either.

Either is a good choice: Rich guy who doesn't pay his fair share of taxes from Indiana or rich guy who sits on the board of Chevron. Very reflective of his values and campaign rhetoric. Way to stand for something!

It's funny how some people keep talking about how they don't want "Bill or Hillary" dynasty in the White House again, yet when Clinton was in the White House our country went through golden years, economically, etc. Why would anyway want THAT?! Instead they choose to vote for someone who gives good utopian speeches and ideals but no ideas or ways to fix things with our country other then change by saying the word change. This is for President of the United States, not some popularity contest with no reprecussions. Yet these Obama supporters fail to realize this is for a REALLLLY important job with REALLLLY serious problems. Dreamers, but not realists. This is why I voted for Hillary and not Obama. This is why I will not vote for Obama without Hillary on the ticket. I choose who I think will best help my country over who I like or don't personality wise. That's the way people should. But, as we've seen in the past, it's obvious most people who vote in our country vote for the wrong reasons and don't think outside of the box or past their own personal lack of common sense.

Clinton is only viable choice for VP. He can't be serious about Nunn he is polarizing on the military front and has anyone notice he's 70 years old! If I'm gonna vote for someone in their 70s it's gonna be McCain.

Most of you people that are crtizing obama are not going to vote for him any way you are just finding an excuse to not vote for him most of it is about race. You want blacks on your sports teams to make money for your racist school but you never would vote for a black man as president. First of all we would not be here if your forefathers did not force my people over here. Now you are during the same with immingrants have you look at the birth rates lately of hispanics they will soon be mayors and governors of you ciyies and towns.

Obama - what a wuss!

"He's afraid Bill and Hillary would try to run everything."

Repeat the above sentence in a frantic, high pitched voice to get a feel for what the real whiners in America are afraid of.

Guess Barry figures he could easily be pushed around - not a guy I want dealing with tough issues. I agree with Barry for once. Yes, you CAN be pushed around - by pollsters, donors, your "victim" crowd and a host of others.

Yes, Bill and Hillary are grown-ups. No way around it. And they're smart, articulate and experienced. No way around that either.

I know, Barack. Why don't you ask all those people who DON'T scare you for advice: Jesse Jackson, Dukakis, Carter, George McGovern - they'll be glad to give some ideas.

I think Obama better start advertising his selection of Hillary as VP if he's going to stop counting every single digit between him and McCain. Today it's 6%, with a +/- of 4% and still 14% of the Dem's undecided. Wow, in a economy that's Tanking, a 5 yr+ Error on Terror War, the Gov't now talking about giving more money back ($600 per household) to the TaxPayers because Cheney's Oil Company got Simulated with the money for the increases in gasoline.

Pick Hillary, staff your cabinet with Nunn, Bayh, Biden but announce already so we can see you have the knowledge to pick an experienced cast.

There is good 'CHANGE' and bad 'CHANGE', let's for a 'CHANGE' see the candidates 'cards' on the table versus having voter's remorse.

Right now - the McCain/Romney 'EXPERIENCED' Ticket looks real good....after 8 yrs of Heir Bush.

and for those that are getting giddy anytime Obama leads in a poll, or worse, any of those that are already acting like obama is going to win; we have a lot of time until November for the manufacture of some kind of event to tilt this back towards the GOP. Do not doubt that it can happen. It already has. Neo-cons are thinking of anything to stay in power. They have hijacked the GOP and now it no longer resembles itself.

Obama said he is in this race for the people. Well about 50% of the people (Dems) want him and 50% wanted Hillary. Mr. Obama's VP choice should be a no-brainer if he is truly in this for the people. Hillary for VP! She is the right choice and she is the only choice if he expects to unify our crazy often too emotional party into the White House. Just to be fair, I would say the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot. Obama/Clinton is an unbeatable ticket! What are we waiting for. It is time the Dems put forward a winning ticket and stop running (and loosing!) on emotion.

Obama should really be considerate and pick a sitting politician not up for re-election this year. In that case, the VP nominee will still have a job to fall back on when the ticket is defeated in November.

If either of these guys is VP I know who will not be getting my vote. The only way I'd vote for the Koolaid man is if Hillary is the VP pick and that would me be voting for her, not Nobama. Otherwise I will write in Hillary as we can do here in NJ or vote for McCain.

I don't understand these PUMA people. Half of them want Hillary on the ticket, half of them will vote for McCain regardless. They clearly don't even know what they're fighting for.

If I'm Barack Obama, I wouldn't do anything to try to win over these sorry PUMA people.

So Hillary is OUT, thanks to PUMA.

Obama invited the wrong Hoosier: Richard Lugar trumps Evan Bayh on all counts: experience, integrity, intelligence. Too bad he's a Republican, although an invitation to the national security summit would have given Obama an opportunity to prove that his campaign is NOT "politics as usual."

I would rather vote for Spoge Bob than vote for Obama. The only way I would find this flip-flopper even aslighty bit palatable is if I knew Hillary would also be on the ticket.

Against it in the primary, now for it: Faith bases initiative, gun ban in DC, late term abortion for women in mental distress, death penalty for child rapists, public financing, but the most egregious one: voted Yes on FISA!!!

Change we can believe in, yeah we can believe that Obama will change his mind when it suits him.

Flip flop, flip flop.....................

Sorry dude, just because his father is from Africa and he's part black doesn't make him a muslim... actually read his book next time before you start quoting it. well informed comments make stronger ones.

And come on, be a little progressive. Old rich white men with military histories have been running the country for 200 years now and hows that working for us? more then a little change would do us good.

I personally wished for Hillary Clinton to win the nomination, but am mature enough to handle the fact that she will not be running. It is time to just accept the fact and move toward the future. The people that dwell and dwell on the fact that Hillary should be the nominee are driving me insane!

Bayh is my choice, very popular in Indiana and served our state well as Governor for 8 years before becoming Senator. I think he would be a great VP and be able to step in and act as acting President should the situation ever arise. I would definitely feel safe knowing that Obama has some experience AND a good man backing him up and offering advice.

Has anyone seen the video of Omar Khadafi praising Obama for being one of us. Then he scolds him for his political posturing with Israel. Khadafi talks about Obama was raised as a muslim and went to a Muslim school. He goes on by saying once Obama becomes president, he will wake up and join his arab and african brothers.
Look it up on jpost.com, (jerusalems newpaper site) There was a video of Omar Khadafi on the left side two days ago),
Are you people really sure about electing this man? I think the New Yorker was pretty accurate, and yes I have thoroghly studied my facts.

What would make this even more funny is if indeed the Dems nominated Hillary at there convention. Hillary is on an ego trip and is going to crash and burn. No way would Obama and Clinton make a good team.

What about Jesse Jackson? He is well versed and has more gas than Bush's baked beans.

I have never heard of either of these guys before this column and find it hard to believe they can help Obama win the election. I have spent so much of my time debating back and forth on whether I would vote for an Obama ticket if it did not include Hillary, and I still do not know how I will vote as of today.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is sad that people like you have the right to vote! Please do some reasearch on Sam Nunn and Evan Byah, you will find out exactly who they are.

It's very funny to see people holding on to the thought of Hillary Clinton being the nominee. What will it take for you people to realize it aint gonna happen?

Hey Democrats, read Bayh's information on Wikipedia. I think he would be an excellent choice, and although he knocked Obama in the primaries the fact that he stated he would take the VP slot in the Obama administration says something.
