I like Joe Biden – though Obama's supporters treated his neice terribly during the Iowa Caucus. Some even told her to go back to her state; the wouldn't let her finish a sentence.

All I have to say is as much as I respect Joe Biden, Hillary better land a significant post in Obama's cabinet if he wants our support. He seems to be a wise man; knows how to play the game. Time for him to place his pieces to win.

First McCain said Obama was irresponsible for saying he would attack Al Queida in Pakistan if their was solid intelligence. Since calling Obama 'irresponsilbe' our miliarty has attacked Al Queida 4 times in Pakistan.

McCain calls Obama naive and reckless for wanting to set a timetable to get out of Iraq. Next thing you know the sovereign Iraq government demands we set a timetable.

McCain calls Obama reckless and an appeaser for saying he will sit down with leaders of countries unfriendly to the U.S. 3 months later the U.S. successfully appeases and negoitiates with N. Korea ('axis of evil') and they begin to dismantle their nuclear plants.

McCain and Bush call Obama an appeaser and irresponsible for saying he wants direct diplomacy with unfriendly countries rather than threats of war. Just yesterday the State Department announces they are sending a top level official to Iran to sit down and have direct talks.

Nothing gets done in Congress and part of the reason is a lot of them are out campaigning for months on end for President. Obama has been in the Senate for two years and has spent over a year on the campaign trail.

Geraldine Ferraro hit a nerve back in the spring when she observed that if Obama were white he wouldn't even be considered seriously with the thin resume he has. But Oprah jumped on his bandwagon and the rest is history.

It seems that the electorate just keeps shooting itself in the foot (Bush in 2000 and 2004 and now Obama in 2008). Why can't we decide to elect experience and competence instead of fluff and charisma?
