There is some truth to that comment. The media in my opinion has elevated the fact that Ms. Obama is a well spoken, everyday kind of mom who happens to have a strong educational background and a 6 figure salary. What's wrong with that. I thought that was the American way?

As inappropriate as some comments may be sometimes, there are people who base some part of their vote on your wives and your personal lives. I am one of those people. In a CNN interview Cindy McCain stated she stayed in Nevada rather than moving to Washington because of her chidren which inferred Washington isn't a fit place to raise your children.

Had this been a statement made by Michelle Obama the news medias would have played this video clip for 3 or 4 weeks asking if Michelle Obama thinks she is too good for Washington or Washington is some how an inferior place to raise your family.

Michelle's brother played basketball at Princeton, so I think he had a scholarship. The Obama's just finished paying off their student loans a few years ago when he became a Senator and his new fame made his books best-sellers.
