To those of you who lack any respect for your elders--we hope you will be older some day and finally realize that 72 is NOT OLD!
If you should be so fortunate to live that long, you will realize just how little you knew when you were 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. Obama is still so green behind the ears. Shangrila is not a reality! GROW UP!

Poor little WHINERS. Your man Obama is being exposed for what he is, and you just can't take it. WHINE, WHINE, WHINE!

I think it's interesting that so much focus is put on this situation, for just a simple, but still insulting, comment. And yet Jesse Jackson says the n-word and makes threats about Obama, saying he wants to "cut his n*ts out", and nobody says anything. But you don't Jesse Jackson stepping down, or doing anything except apologizing. Also, you don't hear Al Sharpton saying anything about it, either.

The only thing more disasterous than a McCain presidency would be a McCain presidency with Phil Gramm as treasury secretary.
Do your research, think about it. Scary, very very scary.

You tend to whine when you're choosing between gas and food on the table. I don't know, maybe its just me, but does it seem that the Repubs are a little out of touch with what it feels like to not have a ton of disposable income? Or at least the Repub candidates and their minions.

Know what a REAL whiner is?
1) Someone who buys a house he/she can't afford because he/she is too lazy to read the "fine print"
2) Someone who has never put their life on the line for anything and then ridicules someone who has
3) Someone who had never lived under a totalitarian regime and pretends to understand what that would be like
4) Someone who never reads an article describing pros and cons and then pretends to be an expert on the subject
5) Someone who thinks terrorists shoud be invited over for "tea" after watching the horrors of 9-11
6) Someone who just doesn't get it when they actually watch Daniel Perl and others beheaded in front of their very eyes
7) Someone who is OK with having his/her parents pay for his/her upbringig and tuition and then defame them as useless "old people"
THESE are the whiners!

Doug,
No one from our team asked him to step down. Your "friend" McCain asked him to step down because the things he said OFFENDED struggling Americans... whose votes he needs to win the WH.
Honestly, the way he's been messing up over the past few days I rather wish he would've stayed around to further damage JMc's chances.

Talk about out of touch. Phil Gramm is obviously out for Phil Gramm, but then aren't most of those Repubs, including John McCain. Liar, liar, liar, and oh yes, liar.

Americans ARE a bunch of whiners! And I'm disgusted at how many people say McCain is "too old." I didn't think we believed in age discrimination here in America. Guess I'll have to tell my 75 year old father to knock it off and stop going to work, and the same for my father and mother in law at ages 76 and 80. Horrors! What are they thinking?

Gramm was a political operative in the pay of a Swiss bank, which is under federal investigation according to the Washington Post. Ethically challanged is an understatement, in my opinion.
McCain, unfortunately, has begun an intensively negative course in his campaign, making it more difficult for me to see him largely as an old war hero. He's now coming across as an embittered old man.

WE HAVE NO STOMACH TO WORK FOR A LIVING. ALL THE OBAMA SUPPORTER CAN DO IS COMPLAIN THAT THEIR MAN IS BEING ABUSED BY THE MEDIA WHEN IT IS THEM THAT ARE THE ABUSERS. OBAMA IS QUITE OBVIOUSLY THE MEDIA'S BOY. BUT EVEN WITH ALL THE PUSHY MEDIA AND THE OBAMA IDIOTS THIS MAN WILL NOT BE PRESIDENT COME NOVEMBER.
