The reason McCain doesn't issue his policy statements until he gets back from a trip is because he needs help and time to make them up.
DUH...and he's running for President of the United States of America!?

Yes McCain it is interesting that he articulated his thoughts and plans before going to Iraq. It is also interesting that your mentor, George Bush, has pretty well stepped in line with Obama's thoughts. Bush is now talking to the Iran about their nuke program (hmmm Obama said talk to them, you said bomb bomb bomb Iran, and kill them with cigaretts and cancer). Obama said Afganistan was the primary source of terrorism and the original war and needed more troops, and now the BUSH administration is in the planning stages of doing just that I wonder, is it Obama who is out of touch, or is it McCain. It seems to me the republican president is doing just about everything Obama has stated he would do, and McCain still sit there saying Obama his ill informed and out of touch. Seems to me the opposit is more true.

The news media decides what we should hear and is very adept at making the gullable believe their stories. Wake up folks, do some of your own research. ABC, CBS and NBC have made Obama into a rock star, going with him on his European Mystery Tour and havenot providing equal coverage for McCain. Like lemmings and sheep if you don't take responsibility for your own choices in the election this fall, you'll have 4 years to live with it.

Too much of a good thing, i.e. the Obama/media love affair, should raise the warning flags. What do we need in the White House, a pretty speech maker or a decision maker. Notice how the Obama web site has morphed to fit iinto what folks tell him versus what his initial plans. But wait, is that because he really doesn't have plans?

McCain would not be my first choice, but the guy is light years ahead of Obama in the experience area. And, lets stop with the age discrimination, on that point alone I would not vote for a still wet behind the ears Obama. Oh yeah, the Change issue, isn't EVERY ELECTION about change? This is no new concept, just a lot of bull that is being bought by the OBAMA supporters. BIG DUH!

McCain is never going to stop criticizing Obama. This man is a hypocrite. When he was pandering to the NAACP he said he admired Obama. The major new anchors are all going overseas to report on Obama's trip. They find Obama more interesting to report on. McCain is like a dead puppet. Obama is big news McCain is boring.
Obama is the man. The people overseas love him.

Did McCain lie or exaggerate Obama's voting record? If he didn't 9and I haven't checked his voting record to find out), then what's all the crying about?

Obama's voting record is ALSO off limits to talk about!?!?!

Why even HAVE an election??? Just dub him "King and Supreme Ruler" and call it a day.

Not as long as his campaign is being ran by lobbyist and Carl Rove. McSame is nothing more than the puppet being controlled by Republican rightwing strings.

He best keep his mouth shut in Carl Rove's presence unless he wants to be labeled unpatriotic.

McCain is a 1st rate hypocrite.

He seems to think it's OK for him to travel to Iraq & Europe while it is just a photo op for Barack?

And anyone who thinks McCain has better knowledge about Iraq & Afghanistan than Barack should research their predictions before invading Iraq. Barack described a buidup of Islamic extremists, displacement of refugees into Jordan and Syria & our costs in occupying Iraq. McCain said we would be treated as liberators.

Barack always said the battle should be focused in Afghanistan. Now McCain & Bush are following his lead.

Barack always said we must open lines in diplomacy with Iran. Now Bush realizes the US will do that.

Who shows better judgment? Barack Obama, by far!

LORD, GIVE ME A CANDIDATE THAT WILL FIX AND REVERSE THE DAMAGE THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO THIS COUNTRY. GIVE ME A PRESIDENT THAT WILL REALLY DO SOMETHING FOR THE "PEOPLE" AND MAKE THIS COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN. A MAN WITH INTEGRITY AND LOVE. LOVE FOR HIS COUNTRY AND ALL ITS PEOPLE.

VOTE OBAMA OR McCAIN: with all the promises made and all the smoke and dirt being dished out by both candidates its hard to believe either one will fix what is ailing this country. So I'll keep on praying and hope our votes stand for something

Doesn't Barack have enough label? Now he's a socialist---what next?

He still has my vote and will be our next president, so John McCain's "as far as I know" attack, will not work.

You know how to win wars? LMAO, dude, you got CAUGHT. That's the whole purpose of the mission is to do the do and NOT get caught.

That's like playing hide and seek and being found first then saying you should pick who's "IT" because you know how to win the game.

No, you don't. You don't know how to win wars because you've never won one.

Didn't Gen. Clark put you on "MUTE" about you never being in charge of the military or any mission at Wartime? So much so that you told Obama to tell him to stop telling the truth?

McCain is a riot.

McCodger is not much more than a "hater" at this point, who keeps spouting the same lines day in and day out. Last time I checked it is a defininte sign of "old age," you know how old folks start to lose their minds and just keep rambling on and on without making a lick of sense??? Oh yeah, time for a check up at the geriatric center for this old boy, right after Cindy changes his diaper.

To all you PUMA PUKES, I can't wait till the morning after the election when you'll be writhing in emotional pain along with the Hillary die hards and especially the Republican pigs & facists.

Truth is, Obama is going to win by a HUGE HUGE landslide and it's going to be just fabulous!!! Can't wait.

When you don't have to tools (candidates McCain/Obama) you need on hand, you may need to "MacGuyver" it. It may not be the best, prettiest solution (Barr) but it works and is better than the alternatives.

'08 Vote for Barr. Get your freedoms back that Bush, Clinton, McCain, Obama have all taken away.

McCain Voted Against Legislation to Provide $2.8 Billion For Medical Care for Veterans. McCain voted against a 2006 Democratic amendment that would have provided $2.8 billion to increase veterans’ medical care.
*Senate Amendment 149, Amendment failed.

McCain Voted Against Establishing $1 Billion Trust Fund to Provide Improvements to Military and Veterans’ Health Facilities. McCain voted against an Amendment to establish a $1 billion trust fund to provide improvements to health facilities that treat veterans and military personnel to lapse on December 31, 2006.
*Senate Amendment 2735

McCain voted Against Adding $1.5 billion to Veterans’ Medical Services in 2007 Budget by Closing Corporate Tax Loopholes. McCain voted against an Amendment offered by Democrats to increase medical services funding to veterans by $1.5 billion in 2007.
*Senate Amendment 3007

McCain Voted Against Mandatory Funding of $6.9 Billion in 2007 Budget and $104 Billion Over Five Years for Veterans' Health Care.

Obama was right about setting a withdrawal timetable from Iraq, focusing on Afghanistan, and not being afraid to have tough, diplomatic talks with our enemies. Bush, McCain, and the Republicans call(ed) Obama naieve. Next, what do we hear? The Bush administration talks with North Korea, the Iraqi government wants a timetable for US troops withdrawal, the Bush administration is planning to meet with Iran, etc. McCain and the republicans criticized Obama for not going to the middle east, then, criticize him now that he's going. McCain has absolutely no idea about the economy, healthcare, social security, etc. but will talk war anytime of the day. Let's face it, McCain and Company are desperate and seethingly jealous of Obama because he's shown a tendancy to be right. Of course, instead of focusing on his bumpy campaign and shoring up on his economic propsals, McCain and the republicans will continue to criticize Obama on all fronts (did I mention jealousy?). In contrast, Obama will continue to take the high road and focus on the issues that matter to the majority of people.

McCain can attack Obama all he wants. It just makes him look like a whiner. I think it's interesting that he's been going after Obama like the family dog for months, but then when he gets in front of the NAACP, he calls Obama "an impressive fellow". The countries McCain will be visiting are solidly pro-Obama. Pretty much everyone in the world is tired of Bush and his surrogates. My dog could run against McCain and probably win. No one is listening, John. Attack all you want. It just makes you look vindictive and petty. Keep it up. Your attacks do nothing but make you look worse than you already look, politically.

For those of you whining about socialism, please find a book and read what socialism is all about. And no, socialism is not aligned with Facism. The Nazis called themselves socialists, but that doesn't make them socialists. Socialists protect their populations, not put over 10 million people to death for being "different".

READ people. READ. And read something besides your own blogs.
Obama is not a socialist. That's just a tag the Republicans have put on him to scare you. In the Republican mind, if you are not pandering to corporations and filling CEO's pockets with money, you're a socialist. What a load of crap!

Of course McCain and the Republicans will keep up the attacks. That is how the Republicans have always operated. BUT NOT THIS TIME. Obama is weathering the storm and doing a heck of a job at it. The Clintons literally through the "kitchen sink" at Obama. Now, the Clintons have no kitchen sink and Obama is on his way to the White House. McCain and the Republicans are scared, desperate, dazed and confused. They don't know how to handle this guy Obama. They cannot understand why "nothing sticks to him." Nothing sticks because Obama is the finest, most intelligent presidential candidate this country has ever seen. He is more than qualified to be president of this country. He is going to be an outstanding president.

I think it's funny because Barack is forcing his opponents to tell us the truth. After 7 years of lies, lies and more lies, it's refreshing. I think we're going to have a wonderful concept in Washington. Tell the truth or get out of town.

Now if Congress can just get their act together.

Socialism or Capitalism which ever nonsense you believe in or follow know this.

Healthcare: is for the rich
Social (Security): doesn't exist
Industry: is overseas
Economy: is on the ground
The Rich: are richer
The poor: can't feed their families or drive a car
The Earth: Is being destroyed
The war: will never end
So instead of bickering with each other, why don't we all really do something, because if this continues none of your theories or disses or remarks will matter.

Are you kidding? What else has McSame got to do, but twiddle his thumbs? He'll rag on Barack like nobody's business. That's all his campaign has to offer--talk about what Obama won't do. Someone said on television the other day that McCain can't get news converge unless he's talking about Barack. So his ticket to the news media is Barack Obama. Let's see, this may be a clear sign of who's going to win in November.

Barack, Barack, Barack 24/7 = New Democratic Administration, Yes.

Why would McCain supporters keep harping on Experience without putting any thought into what kind of experience the person brings to the table.

McCain's experience on the Iraq war is he voted for it with inside knowledge about why as he openly stated it was for oil.

McCain went to Iraq dressed in a flaq suit surrounded by the military and then lied to everyone when he came home saying you could stroll to the market without any problems or fears. This statement was quickly denounced by Michael Ware who said you wouldn't last a minute if you went outside the green zone.

McCain has never one a war but insists he knows how but fact shows his experience is limited to being shot down and surrendering and becoming a prisoner of war. Not intened to diminish his military record just reiterating his experience in this area.

Continually votes against all women's rights issues and doesn't have a very clean record on how he personally treats the women in his life as well.

Brags about the surge but the facts are they are paying their enemies not to fight against them as well as giving them arms without any concern about what these people will do when they feel they have enough of a stockpile.

Has shown in speeches he has absolutely no idea about modern day geography as doesn't know the difference between the religous sects in the middle east.

Could go on forever but anyone with a modicum of intelligence should be able to get the message.

The news media in the United States is amazing. No matter what television channel you watch, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, CNNI, NBC, ABC, or CBS, it appears there’re all reading from the same script. Same photos and same verbiage, same coverage, same talking points, it truly disgusting. This is also true of the print media. The McCain camp is complaining about the coverage he is getting, sound familiar (Hillary Clinton in the primaries). McCain call the news media his base and for good news coverage you can move to the front of his Straight Talk Express Bus. There has been a lot of coverage of Obama most manufactured stories by the media.

This morning, all I’ve heard on every channel is Obama’s trip abroad, and how so much media, including three network anchors are following him and did not reciprocate the same for McCain when he was traveling abroad. It is my understanding that Obama invited them and McCain didn’t.

Finally, this is not the 2000 or 2004 election. The people of the United States will not be bamboozled by the media, not this time. We realize the media is corporately owned. We get the accurate news else where. We are sick and tired of tabloid politics and stories. Most American don’t need pundits to translate what is being said. We want the media to to report the news, not to create it.

Why should McCain quite critcing Obama while he is abroad. Didn't the "BLACK MESSIAH" critice McCain when he was in Iraq. Lets face it Obama is only going to these countrys to try and make himself look as something he is not "PRESIDENTIAL". This man is nothing but a Joke and I can't stand JOHN McCAIN. As far as them "Lackey " news medias ABC , CBS and NBC why do you think they have the lowest ratings of all the news channels. CNN is getting there with their baises for OBAMA.

mccain calls himself a leader...what the hell has HE led? He got captured in another illegal war, spent 5 years in a POW camp after getting shot down flying over and dropping bombs on civilian populations, killing them before the Moron's father, in the first iraq war, saintized it to be..ummm...'collateral damage'! (oh, by the way, I am a veteran of the Vietnam War, although I subsequently became more involved with VVAW and, when i college, after realizing the immorality of that war which McCain happens to be so proud of (He,and everyone who thinks U. S. is ALWAYS right, should read the great historian, Barbara Tuchman's March of Folly...just exchange the word vietnam with Iraq, the Johnson and Nixon administratiions with the Moron's regime....nothing has changed....and, another thing....why is it that EVERY democrat who runs agains these reactionaries is portrayed as "the most liberal"--eight years ago, when McCain's master was awarded the presidency (he didn't 'win' it, we all know), Gore was 'the most liberal', when Hillary was running, she was 'the most liberal', when Kerry ran, he was the "most liberal'...now we have obama...and HE is the 'most liberal"...for those reactionary Fox listeners and viewers...once and for all...just who the hell is the most liberal??? (or is that subject to change too....hmmm....McCain is nothing more than the Moron's lap dog...

McSame--what were you doing in Iraqi market some time ago surrounded by 5 Black Hawk helicopters proclaiming the Iraqi markets are safe places to be! Do you remember what you ate for breakfast this morning? You and your campaign should take a trip to Czechoslovakia!

Is anyone else seriously worried this man might be our president in 3 months?

The McCain bashers are out today. These are Obama volunteers and paid staff that do nothing but flood every story with name calling, nasty and mean remarks. There job is to drive up McCains negatives. They did this to Hillary Clinton as well. They do not reprensent the core Democratic voter but the ultra liberal left wing of the party. What they should be doing is to try to talk to the issues, but I know that is hard to do, because they don't really know on what side of the issues he is at all times. Obama is a serial flip flopper. He has flipped on public financing,FISA, gun control, undevided Jerusalem, abortion, using church-based institutions to deliver services to the poor, troop re-deployment trade, merit pay for teachers and social security taxes on income . I doubt that the basher's even know where he stands on these issues today. That's why, like a bunch of spoiled kids, they just engage in name calling.

We expect Mc Cain to keep plugging for himself regardless of where Senator Obama is in the world.
Had Mc Cain traveled with Obama he would had been more cordial.
Mc Cain would like to a large arena crowd just once and being with his opponent is one way before the convention.
