Does anyone take in to consideration that Senator's McCain claim that he has been to the Middle East eight times is only because he knew that he was planning on running for president in 2008 and he wanted to get a jump on everyone else. He probably would have made the same claim against any other opposition candidate. This guy has been running for the White House since 2000 and when he says that Barack Obama will do and say anything to get elected. Isn't that what he is doing?

Who then is right.

McCain should stop fooling us and agrees to face withdrawal of troop from Iraq. That is the most noble things to do to honor ur troop.

1) We can follow the democratic choice of the people of Iraq and work to leave no matter the consequences, upholding the principal that this nation was built on.

Bush has sold our Constitution in the name of fighting the War on Terrorism or how Reagan sold weapons to Iraq and then said he forgot he did it? I would have voted for John McCain because he would be a strong Commander in Chief but what we need is someone to take care of home first, because the writing is on the wall when the Government has to help the two biggest mortgage companies in the U.S. stay afloat.

Bush and Cheyney are hoping to establish a permanent military presence (i.e. military base) in Iraq which would make up for the one they had to close down in Saudi Arabia. The Iraq parliament has said in no uncertain terms "no way" to a permanent US base. This is why Bush and Cheyney have found it difficult to answer al-Maliki's request for a time table for US troop departure.

If the Iraq government is asking us when can we leave, that tells me that they are at a stage where they believe they can take over. We should give up are attempts at military colonialism in Iraq and abide by their wishes.

We need to re-examine our strategic interests in the middle-east and our partnership with the state of Israel. They have proven costly to the US, both economically and with respect to our moral stature in the world.

Declare victory in Iraq ("This time we mean it folks"); withdraw troops to Afghanistan; instead of taking bribes from the oil industry, take bribes from Gatorade and Hustler (keep our boys healthy and happy); and finally, 'accidentally' e-mail a missile to anyone who sells weapons to Al-Quaida. Obama's trip is being paid for by the campaign. Most of which has been financed by private individuals. The average contribution is $90. All of McCains trips were paid for by the taxpayers. I don't find fault with McCain for authorized congressional trips. But try getting your rhetoric straight.

So Obama was right when he said there needs to be timetables set for U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq. The Bush administration has adopted the Obama policy. They just call it time horizons. al-Maliki also disagreed with McCain. McCain had said withdrawal means the U.S. admitting defeat. al-Maliki disagreed. He said U.S. withdrawal does not mean U.S. defeat, but rather mean that the Iraq have been strong enough to defend themselves. Obama said months ago that we needed to send more troops to Afghanistan. The question being asked today is who is more fit to be commander-in-chief. It seems as Obama has the right judgment and McCain does not.
