McCain was met by zero anchors because he is so uninteresting. There is nothing refreshing about McCain so he generates no attention. He is so boring to listen to...if I were a news anchor, I wouldn't follow him either.

There is a story that has all but gone unnoticed.

It is the story of a young soldier that called home to tell her folks that she might be on TV, because ABC was in Iraq and was interviewing soldiers about who they were voting for, for president while Hillary Clinton was still in the running.

ABC interviewed some 60 soldiers.

4 said that they were voting for Obama
2 said that they were voting for Hillary
54 said that they were voting for McCain.

In the official inverview for TV, ABC interviewed 5 soldiers;

3 said that they were voting for Obama
2 said that they were voting for Hillary.

No official interview for TV was given to ANY soldiers voting for McCain.

I feel that it is time that American people rise up and DEMAND that our news media TELL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH !!!

It is time for the MEDIA to stop being BIASED and twisting the TRUTH.

I feel that the journalists and news media be sued for journalistic MALPRACTICE.

And no, I don't mean the fairness doctrine. That is targeted ONLY at conservative talk radio and NOT at the left wing news media.

Yeah, what's with all the Obama buzz? I'm very sick and tired of it frankly and he's not worthy. Nobody gets it.. He was the 'chosen' one by the DNC and the leftist nuts. He's hasn't accomplished anything that qualifies him to lead this great nation. Just like Milli Vanilli. A couple of things are not mentioned in this article. First, McSame did not invite or want the media with his, he went over there to continue selling the lie, that all is well in Iraqi-land. You know walking around the market buying rugs for pennies that would cost serveral hundred dollars here at home. You know the place that was safe he only needed 100 security guards around him and 5 five black hawk helicopters. Those reporters who are traveling with Obama asked to go and he allowed them to at their own expense, at least they do not have to report only good things about him to travel with him. To get an up close interviewing seat on the straight talking express, the one now traveling on two wheels, those reporter must promise to only praise McSame....

Mr. Barack Obama's has opinions on many subjects, but has been in very few positions in government where his ideas have been put to the test.
This gentleman, whom I regard in high esteem, is an intellectual who does not have the practical experience required to be Commander in chief or CEO of the United States of America.
This person has one qualification, at this particular time in his life, he can talk, and discuss in a charming manner.
Let him continue his Senate role, gain the practical application experience, then in future years, run for the top job in America.
Talking and promising, is all very well, it has it’s place certainly, but the President of the United States has to consider Congress and the Senate, so the golden voice of Senator Barack Obama does not qualify him to move into the White house with disregard for practical experience of which he has not yet attained.
I wish him well in his future endeavors, but advise him to sit out this particular endeavor and await a future date to continue.

Celebrity is where it's at. Brian, Katie & Charlie, celebrities all, know the deal inside out. David Axelrod, Obama's slick campaign manager, played one against the other for "exclusive" interviews with Presidential Hopeful Obama. They all bought hook line & sinker and the race was on. Now we will be subjected to highly crafted staged events like Cool Obama plays B-Ball in front of cheering troops. Then there'll be International Solidarity Obama at a staged Kennedyesque event in Berlin. And on & on we go until he gets crowned Messiah Obama in front of a berserk crowd at mile high stadium. No doubt to be handed the crown by none other than a brave , ailing Ted Kennedy. Hard for McCain to upstage that kind of insanity and the media is all to happy to play along.

Face it! Barack Obama is just a much more interesting personality than John McCain. He is cool, youthful, smart and makes all blacks around the world proud. He can basically ignore John McCain and just be himself. Unfortunately John McCain cannot just ignore Obama, because Obama is just so good at what he does. It is just so sad that Barack Obama is the best presidential candidate that the United States has had in many years, but because of racism there are many whites who can't get over the fact that he is 'black'. They would prefer to have another ignorant person (John McCain) in the White House just because he is white, rather than have an intelligent, gifted and talented black man running the country.

The media should not try to excuse their strong bias in favor of Senator Obama by saying that his overseas trip is newsworthy whereas those by Senator McCain are stale news. You know what else might have happened? For awhile, McCain himself was making a big deal of the notion that Obama ought to go to Iraq, and that in itself might have made the trip into more of an issue. That would be kind of funny, if McCain's attempt to belittle Obama contributed to the attention that Obama is now getting at McCain's expense.

The buzz is because Barack Obama is going to be the next POTUS, and the best one that we've had in ages if not ever, given the opportunity, He is honest, intelligent, sincere and the greatest patriot of our lifetime. Blatant unfairness!

All this attention by the 3 main entertainment networks by sending their anchors to travel and cover Obama on his trip is absolutely ludicrus. They don't even CARE that this unfair treatment of the candidates is obvious to all.

After Hillary was deliberately shut down I decided out of anger to vote for McCain. As an independent I have always supported the democrats. Because of the fiasco going on now I am more sure than ever not to vote for Obama.

I;m hoping obama will stick his foot in his mouth and that the anchors will try to cover this up and everything will backfire. Show them all up.

The incredible media focus on Obama's overseas trip is nothing more than a reflection of their support for his candidacy. It has been clear from the get-go that the national media will go to any lengths to help their man to the presidency. There is no way McCain can get a fair shake from the likes of CNN, NBC, MSNBC and CBS. Not to mention the "we're in the tank for Obama" New York Times.

The main reason is, it is his first trip, and he was goated into it. You would think the convention was over and Obama is the nominee. I see no reason to watch the democratic convention in August. Well McFlipFlops claim of superior experience in foreign policy is dubious anyway. What has he done? I don't think anyone knows. I guess if he argues Obama is a mystery or naive long enough and often enough everyone will forget McFlipFlop has a foreign policy that can best be described as an orgasm of intellectual anarchy. Why would anchors want to be around the profane thoughts of McFlipFlop. Of course they want to be around Obama. He is exciting, interesting, everything the dull and boring McFlipFlop isn't.
