While Obama talks about things the American people care about, Afghanistan and OBL, bringing troops home, McCain is still talking about something that doesn’t agree with his own philosophy nor is it something the AP care about. If the surge is working and we are succeeding in Iraq then McCain should be in the forefront talking about leaving Iraq since things are better. Yet, he talks about staying there. Are the AP supposed to be dumb enough to side with McCain on his contradictory stance? I don’t think so.
