Obama supporters, we don’t need to ARGUE with posters here. Trust me, the anti-Obama views ARE NOT coming from the people the Democrats need to win this election. The Democrats need the people that are largely sitting back QUIETLY reading and reviewing these blogs.

Use the anti-Obama posts so that you know all the negative attacks that we should dissect on this blog so that the UNDECIDED voter gets honest clarity around those topics and makes the smart choice. We don’t need to twist, manipulate or parse words. We’re backing the more intelligent, more thoughtful candidate that builds high performing teams.

Succinctly rebut the false claim. Support it with facts and give the reference for the facts so that it can be checked. When quoting McCain or a surrogate, list the name of the publication or TV show, the date it ran, etc. Pick your words carefully to remove ambiguity and to avoid exaggerating, or being bombastic.

Verbally denigrating an opponent never impresses someone else that you want to join your team.

Remember this is a public forum and people perpetrate their identities and their motives. Let us be the adults here.

In the end, we all want to hire the smart guy.

WOW. This diatribe is getting personal. This is begining to seem desperate and pathetic. Why cant the McCain campaign focus on policy and relevant issues?

Scheuneman mentioning junior high in Indonesia, spring break to what reason? Obama has never referenced McCain's school or any of his personal stuff – not even the crashing of five planes, or visiting strip malls, or breaking virtually every rule wihle in navy school.

What 'experience' did Guliani have, vis-a-vis, terrorist attacks when 9-11 happened? I think the only answer would have to be 'none,' and yet he is held up as a paragon of heroism (not that I agree.)
As for John McCain...my father was a retired WWII Navy Captain who went through many battles in the Pacific and Atlantic–including Normandy–and he would be the last person to think that those credentials alone would have qualified him for the presidency.

Well I guess it getting confusing Rep. need to attack Obama for all his deeds instead of doing some thing innovative, he is increasing the playing field for sure and has fore sight, like this trip. I have yet to see any new trick from Rep Hat, apart from fear tricks and attack.

For now at least Obama sure seems to be smarter guy, slowly cutting McCain arguments, like this trip will blunt First Hand foreign exp to large extent, and also he will proof he has created enthusiasm even in Middle East and Europe, and this will help America to negotiate their way as leaders.

If Al Maliki wants us out by 2010, he needs to make more progress on national reconciliation and engagement of different ethnic groups into the structure and fabric of a unified Iraq. If he does not do that, he will be the first casualty of our departure. His government will not survive. Obama never said that he would unconditionally pull troops out of Iraq on a certain date. He has ALWAYS said that conditions on the ground would dictate our troop withdrawals. What he did say was that if the current successes continue, then yes, withdrawal within 16 months is feasible.
