IT really does not matter who Mcains picks as VP. Mccain is sure to win. Mr Hussan is the most unqualified person to ever seek the office of President but it does show the tremendous ignorance of our Country to even allow for the chance that this con man could be President of the United States.

It's nice to see that Obama supporters are so educated that they can refrain from childish name calling, or other stupid insults. Nice! This election is being handed to Obama on a silver platter, and he can't put any distance between him and McCain. The reason: McCain is a disguished Senator with many pieces of legislature to his name. Obama... just under two years in the US Senate (actually one, beacuse '07 he spent campaigning for president) and a couple of years in the Illinois senate. He has 130 'present' votes in the senate and finally went to Aghanistan this week. Wow.... that looks very presidential! He's even with McCain right now because the American people fear he's simply does not have enough experience to be the leader of the free world! And, it's not becuase he's black as noted above.

Perhaps some day the Democrats will nominate a candidate whose supporters feel comfortable supporting on his merits, rather than replaying the same kind of lame, malicious blather they used against Bush four years ago. Anybody who maintains that McCain is the same as Bush either hasn't paid attention lo these many years or- more likely- is simply lying maliciously. As for ideas, it would be a great deal easier to listen to Obamas if they were not either so incredibly naive or attempts to take credit for being wrong on Iraq. The "hopeless" war and the surge that "wouldn't work" have now created a situation in which even Obama's once-irresponsible deadline is beginning to look plausible, and now Obama is trying to claim credit for McCain having been right!

McCain NEEDS to pick Romney. He is a self-made man. He used his OWN money to run for President. The Media can't attack his intelligence, because he has more brain power, then all the candidates that ran for president. He has been married to the same woman, no affairs, no son's getting into trouble, AND the biggest reason IS, that the Media did all they could to prevent him from being our choice!!!!! The Media was promoting McCain and Huckabee 24/7, and even when Romney won a state or when he came in second, or when he lost Virginia because the Republicans pooled together to let Huck beat Romney, the Media was saying "Romney needs to drop out! Reading these blogs has become a great source of amusement for me, over the morning coffee. You posters are hilarious, especially when you refer to McCain in the most derogatory of terms, i.e. McBush, McSame, McClueless, etc. Good thing we have that 'ol Bastion of Civil Liberties, the First Amendment. Too bad you trash-talkers don't realize how ridiculous you really come across. The fact is, while you liberals were growing up and whining about how you didn't get everything you wanted, there was [and still is] a contingent of the population who believed and believes in maintaining a sense of pride and responsibility for one's own actions, and giving thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifices to protect the rights of others. Like it or not, McCain is a decorated hero and a patriot and he suffered atrocities you couldn't even imagine. If you don't want to vote for him, then fine, but for Pete's sake leave his service record alone. You have no business going there. By the way, I had three brothers in 'Nam, and another brother and myself served in the Navy afterward, and I have a son in the Navy in Japan. We didn't serve because we were told to....we served because we felt we had to, and never complained one iota. Looking back, we have no regrets. Einstein once remarked: "There are two things in the known universe that are infinite - relativity and human stupidity - and I am not sure about the former." While I agree that Obama should be 20 to 30 points ahead in the polls, I don't agree that it is because of his race. He could be Brad Pitt and still have the same problem, that he is the most liberal candidate ever nominated. You put someone like Harold Ford, or Colin Powell or Michael Steele and you would see a candidate that most people could go for.
