Bush is a fool. Saying "The question is, how long will it [Wall Street]sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments?" only goes to show the dearth of leadership this guy has provided to solve the problems this country faces. He does not get involved in the energy crisis even though he had eight years to establish a workable policy to develop alternative fuel solutions, nor did he do anything about the superheated housing market that anyone with an ounce of sense could see would become a problem and now we are heading into a recession. Now he is "waiting" for Wall Street to correct its gluttonous ways? God help us. This man just needs to disappear into the sunset, never to be heard from again.

Well it started with anti-"Red Lining" laws. Force lenders to take on lousy risks which morphed into interest only, ARMs, no credit check, etc mortgages. It used to be credit had to be earned but no more. It's a right not a privilege now. Credit extended to people with no job, no SS#, no tax returns and so it goes. It's like everything else. Suck off SS money for give away programs to human Pez machines and career welfare recepients. Can't deny anyone anything anymore even if they haven't earned it. "Earned Income Credit"?? Pay no taxes but get a refund? Explain that one. And now the personification of every give away liberal, bleeding heart, bed wetting, cry baby program that ever milked a dime from legal, working Americans has emerged in the form of Hussein Obama. Yep, old Bush says some pretty goofy stuff but he's not the slick talking, wolf in sheep's, Muslim in Christian clothing Hussein Obama is.

There should be in IQ test before you can beconme president. The mans simple understanding of things reminds me of a toddler. Lets hope we get someone with a bit more depth, and understanding of complex issues this time around. How anyone can still have faith in Bush after these last 7 years is beyond me. Those of us with the capacity to think have cringed every time this man has opened his mouth. And more damaging, his lack of understanding has made his poicies that much worse.

This market was artifically held-up for seven years!

When the economy was tanking around the 911 period housing was still rising and it seemed strange for everything else to tumble except the housing sector. Now, we know it should have been crumbling at that time.
