What the heck is this talk? We have had far more egregious problems with previous presidents. George Bush as never been involved in any scandal. Just because he took action to protect our nation when we were attacked on 9/11, which if you remember the whole nation supported at the time, we want to impeach him? My goodness, maybe it will take another terrorist attack on American soil for this fickle nation to come to its senses.

The reason our country is so great is because of the framework it was built on – namely the Constitution of The United States. This is the document we have held up to the world for over 200 years extolling its greatness. George Bush and the Republicans have ignored it, spit on it and basically thrown it out the window. They have turned us into a nation of hypocrites, and I for one am ashamed. I believe in our constitution and want to see our government restored to an administrative body that shows respect for it. That will not happen with John McCain.

Bush/cheney should have been impeached long time ago. Unfortunately, so much damage has been done to our great country by those two and the leaders in congress did not have the pants to do the job of impeaching those two individuals. Well, i forgot that he congress does not have pants leading it, but some skirt now. Our only hope is that Obama takes our country in the right direction starting next year. Otherwise, another 2-4 years of the same wil mean that we will not only continuecto keep going in the wrong direction, but it will be thoguh to be living in America in the future. a mcbush administration will continue to ruin us all and Mcain would not care about it. He will be dead by then. That is why I 2-4 years. The old man is already decomposing from his inside out. He might have a mohter who is almost 100, but he sure is to old and sick to even think that he will get to be even 75. He can not walk, bend, lift his hands past his shoulders, can't have a long straight conversation, has so many mental distractions that makes us all pray to God that once we hit that age, that does not happen to us. Due to the Bush administration, America has already lost the respect from so many countries. If Mcsame is elected, he will not get that respect back, he will only get those countries to feel sorry for him and America. We don't need pitty from others,We need respect and admiration that ony an OBAMA administration could bring.
The only good news on this is that Jan. 2009 is getting cloer, and those old farts will forever be forgotten and only put in the books as the worst administration ever. RIP to the Mcbushes.

If the answer is no, then I understand why you think the sitting president is a national hero. Can you recall the current president's performance prior to 9/11. EVERYONE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND..if he is being impeached..meaning the process is taking place......he cannot grant immunity to all of his cohorts..ie Karl Rove, Cheney...and if he did indeed get impeached ..justice could truly be served. We can redeem ourselves in the World's eyes if we impeach Bush and put him in and Karl in jail where they belong....if you don't care what the world thinks...it is still the right thing to do. The profiteering,manipulation and looting that has been condoned during this administration is sickening. We as Americans should make sure a loud message is sent to Bush and to future politicians. There must be accountability.

Easily manipulated by some, and has a weird view of things, yes, but not evil. Congress has a lot of important things in front of them while they are wasting time grandstanding like this, and it should be obvious to citizens why so little progress has been made since the Democrats took over congress. Clinton was not impeached for his affair, he was impeached for lying underoath. It also tied into the Kosovo Conflict that Congress did not authorize.

If we are going to impeach Bush, then we should call for the resignation of all those that voted for the use of force. Many of whom are Dems that make up a congress that has a 9% approval rating which is worse than Bush's.
