Funny you should mention McCain's town hall meetings - They REALLY ARE the same from one to the next - exactly. But in the one in my hometown, he called us some other city. You have got to wonder about these mistakes. There are just too many of them going on.

I agree with TX for Obama. People, get educated before the election to see whom you are voting for. Pay attention, read, watch, and listen. You need to know for what you are voting. Listen to McCain speak before you give him your vote. To buy into the excuse the Obama has no experience is just plain stupid. I ask you, what experience does sitting in a POW camp give McCain that would be valuable in running this Country today? Listen to him speak and then research his voting record to see who he has changed his views. Get educated before voting.

I agree that CNN is supporting John McCain; he is not smart enough to be President of the United States of America. He has spent the whole week whinning about Barack. Why didn't he following his own agenda for the week rather that lurking after Barack Obama like a starved dog. McCain went to Iraq, Canada, Columbia and no one bothered him. No one said he was trying to look presidential. Of course, McSame can never look presidential. CNN needs to just say, "We endorse John McCain because we all know that you are doing eveything to cover up McCain's gaff's and his inability to stick to an issue. He is just pitiful. Barack Obama is sticking to his plans and John McCain and CNN cannot change that.

My guess is that he forgot exactly what he said. It's been happening a lot lately my friends. Here is exactly what he said"I had the courage and the judgment to say that I would rather lose a political campaign than lose a war."It seems to me that Senator Obama would rather lose a war in order to win a political campaign."

My friends as Joe Klien points out in Time Magzine"It was a remarkable statement, as intemperate a personal attack as I've ever heard a major-party candidate make in a presidential campaign, the sort of thing that no potential President of the United States should ever be caught saying."

My friends I am sure that McShame doesn't remember what he said. Either that or he has no problem outright lying to the American People.

This my friends is the sign of a desperate and confused man. who knows he is in deep trouble.

All this guy does is lie and attack. I am so over this clown. When was the last time he even brought up an issue. All I hear are these lying ads (which get exposed on www.factcheck.org) and his stupid childish attacks. And you PUMA people need to get a life. I swear if you lose this election for the democrats and put this joke of a man in office I hope all you foreclose on your homes, lose your jobs, and end up homeless. I will wish nothing but the worst for you for being so dumb and selfish. Wake up and listen to what McSame is spewing.

This constant drone about Obama being inexperienced, lacking policy or judgement - without a reference to the policy that he's supposedly lacking - is pretty sad.

He wrote a book that lays out, not only layperson's language regarding his policy, but traces each policy to where he came from and how it is influenced by his experiences and his core values - as well as similarities and differences with key leaders throughout history. It's right there in print in a way I've not seen in any candidate in my 47 years. Lots of it includes positions and statements that everyone will NOT agree with, so statements about him twisting a message to an audience are just misinformed. You don't think repubs are parsing every single word in everything he says looking for differences with his written work?

A leader who has studied the entire history of Congress, the current state if the world, and written it into founding principles and the basis for a policy framework - yeah - empty suit.

Doesn't work for you?

His website has positions, written in statements, summaries and details. Can't or don't want to read? He put videos there for you.

C'mon folks - you're grasping. You don't like him or trust him for some other reason. It's not because he's vacuous, because he simply is not. Look hard in the mirror.

I'd have more respect for someone saying, "I make $350k and don't want to pay more taxes."

Sen. Mccain pretends that Sen. Obama has bad judgement. However, as a voter i'm more concerned with the judgement of Sen. Mccain. My reason being, is that I know he was a P.O.W. and in the medical records that he appeared to be upfront and willing to show, there was still no mention of his mental status, or past nor present treatment for the mental trauma that we all know he endured. All we know is that he takes ambien to help him sleep, as well as an uncontrollable anger management problem that may have been triggered from his tramatic experiences while he was a prisoner. That alone should be enough for americans to question Sen. Mccains judgement and decisions. You can ask any Psychiatrist about the about the long term effects from such an experience, and I know they will tell you it's very serious.
Trust me, "America don't need another loose cannon representing us to the rest of the world".

P.S.
Please CNN investigate this story further!!!!

Good job Mccain. I'm glad you are running for president. It's better than the alternative. All talk Barack brings nothing to the table except empty rhetoric. We want a President that is experienced and the position as commander in Cheif should not be used as a training ground for novice Senators. Obama is defintetly a rock star indeed!

Question your own. Here is a list of questions that I would like senator McCain to answer:

Why do you stray away from your maverick stand?

Why do you now decide to support offshore drilling?

Why do you vote for Bush's tax cut for the wealthy?

Why do you reach out to Charles Wyly who you accused of being corrupt?

Why don't you back your own campaign finance reform?

Are you for or against Roe v. Wade?

Are you for or against ethanol usage?

What is your position on abortion, especially on those of who are involved in rape and incest?

Mr. McCain, can you please answer some of these questions?

For the last two days I have read many posts exclaiming how wrong Senator Obama was for speaking in Berlin. I guess that there is some rule that forbids Americans from meeting anyone else in the free world? If the people of Berlin did NOT want to see or hear what he had to say, then 200,000 people would not have been there; and no concert in Germany has ever drawn that big a crowd. Was it appropriate to speak to them? Yes, that was no less appropriate as if I were to speak to them.

So many people here in America complained that Senator Obama had no foreign experience and didn't know how to deal with other countries and leaders. Well so far he has out done Senator McCain, Clinton, President Bush, Reagan, and any other US government representative since Kennedy.

So many people have said that Senator Obama lacks experience to lead the USA. Well so far he has been right with his calls about events in America and in the wars we are in overseas.

So many people complained that Senator Obama has NO policies. Yet they fail to visit his website where hundreds of pages elaborating the details of his 11,000-page plan for getting America back on the right road. Do people visit the site for answers? No. They just resort to name calling and pat themselves on their back for doing a good job.

Senator McCain has claimed that his foreign policy knowledge would lead America to victory and safety. The only thing that Senator McCain has proven is that he simply does know anything beyond his home, less-more the USA.

Senator McCain further demonstrates that he is less able to lead the USA than Senator Obama. Why? A confident leader NEVER worries about his opponent. A confident leader focuses on his agenda. Senator McCain spends more time attacking Senator Obama than he spends taking care of Senator McCain's business. This is a prominent sign of great weakness or what we call the crab syndrome - that is, the crab on the bottom reaches UP to pull the crab on top down. In a time when America needs leadership what we have is an old man fighting to be part of history, irrespective of the damage it may cost America.

Senator McCain has claimed he has experience, yet he cannot remember how he has voted in the senate when he was there. He has introduced bills to the senate, and then voted against them. Why?

So, this all leads me to one conclusion: the people who support Senator Obama's bid for the Presidency do so of a clear conscious. However, the people against him are afraid of his color and success more than they are confident in Senator McCain’s abilities.

Why should a BLACK person become the most successful leader in America? That position is strictly reserved for a WHITE Irish man.

So it doesn't matter how intelligent, how well judgmental, how diplomatic or how effective Senator Obama is: he can NEVER be President of the United States of America because he is black.

The sobering truth is: America - home of the brave, the land of the free, and the land of-and-for the whites. Everybody else is just being tolerated.

Trust me Senator McCain, many many see this man for what he is. An inexperienced man trying to capture the most powerful position in the world having done absolutely nothing to merit this position. Judgment? Are you kidding? After his 20 year stint in that horrific church?

What's his definition of "lose the war"? Idiot, we overthrew the government, Saddam is DEAD, a new government is in place saying they want to take over and be Sovereign again....over 70% of Americans are against the war at this point. Is he really that stupid? McCain you have to listen to the will of the people, Iraq's people and the U.S people want to the war to end. He's acting like Bush before he even gets into office by putting on his blinders and following his same old song and dance.

Why is he attacking Obama when Obama is abroad and cannot return the compliment?

A clear break of the code of campaigng in the US and it is not becoming. Obama is showing more statesmanship on a daily basis now then McCain has in his whole campaign so far.

Why is the press giving McCain a free ride on his statement that we will be in Iraq until 2018 or 2020--when the Iraqi's want us out by 2010? Didn't we used to frown at the Soviet Union for invading countries for no good reason and then occupying them? And how about asking McCain what reason for invading Iraq justifies the deaths of over 4100 brave, young Americans? And if we owe Vets so much, Senator McCain, why did you vote against the GI bill of rights? Why was it that Senator Obama is the one who brought legislation to stop the military from charging our wounded soldiers for their meals and phone calls while they were in military hospitals?
Come on CNN, at least try to pretend you're journalists--try asking McCain a few questions instead of resting on your laurels and allowing him to go unchallenged on some of his absurd statements!!!

McCain't is a loser. He wasn't smart enough to get into college. Daddy had to help. He was dumb enough to get shot down and became a prisoner. Daddy had to help. And now he's running a lame campaign. Cindy's now jumping in to make him look desirable. If she doesn't get a President out of him, she'd be smart to remarry.

It's the Daddy to the rescue McCain story - sounds like Pathetic W. Sounds like the good ole boy era is finally making way to meritocracy. OBAMA earned every bit of his success. McCain would be lucky to have one of his brain cells.

I question your judgment jon. While you are a great american, and i don't question your service or commitment to our armed forces one bit, what exactly in your millitary career relates to being a commander and chief? you didn't even hold a lt. generals rank.

You are out of touch yourself on severla issues. for instance, how do you expect me to vote you into office to lead us into a technological age when you've told me you don't use computers and don't really understand them.

no thanks jon.

Why do we still call this a war? It's been a botched occupation for over five years. How do you "lose" an occupation? McCain needs to find some new words and a different way of looking at foreign policy. This is not 1958.

And I question this guys mental stability and integrity. Nothing but senility, negativity and criticism. When is he going to yell at all the children in America to get off his lawn? Maybe after his adult diaper change, attitude adjustment and Aricept with an applesauce chaser.

Where's the Iraqi/Pakistani border?
What the difference between a Sunni and Shi'ite?
What happened first: The Sunni Awakening, the invasion of Afghanistan or the surge?
What year did Czechoslovakia cease to be a country?
What the difference between Somalia and Sudan?
What the definition of winning in Iraq? Losing in Iraq?
What wars have you won, McCan't?
Who "whines" more than your stealth advisor, Phil Gramm, and who has more "mental recession" than you, McCan't?
Can you remember what a gallon of milk costs from your photo-op in the cheese isle or don't you remember being there? (You looked so disoriented and uncomfortable).

I bet that Town Hall crowd of rest home folks even get bored with his squaking.

Did you ever watch his head when he speaks is like one of those hand held puppets that someone else controls he looks straight ahead for a while then a sharp turn to the right and looks that way a while then his head turns a sharp left and he looks that way for some time makes for lots of laughs .
McShame wears Depends and Cindy is for his change
He isn't going anywhere he will return to Arizona to help Cindy run her DRUG Store you know she has to have one of those .

I question YOUR judgment, trying to force through a wussy, pandering, gas tax relief bill, mistakenly attributing the political advancement among the sects in Iraq to the Surge, attacking Obama's patriotism by saying that he'd rather win the election than win the war, your constant consistent flip flops on every conceivable issue, rolling wife #1 under the bus and marrying a Barbie doll before the ink on your divorce papers are dry, among just a few things.

You are untrustworthy, McCain.

Wow!

When are you Obamabots gonna realize that he whom you hold so dear is that same old same old politician. Change! Ya, right.

The only thing that he change's is his position to suit the moment.

Yes, Obamabots, Barack can do wrong. He can be wrong. He isn't infallible. He isn't the second coming.

He is simply a young, inexperienced politician riding a wave of youth (read uninformed) and African-American support, not to mention the oh so knowledgeable upper crust of Liberal hug-a-thug society.

If, let's say 50%, of the youths who stand behind Obama were actually TRULY informed about national and global issues (not hype and propaganda) and realize just what it takes to lead a country nationally and globally then I fully believe that Obama would not be the rockstar he is seen as today.

FYI, I'm an independant middle of the road kind of guy that likes to view both sides of an issue and act accordingly and that is the type of leader ANY country needs. Not leftist flip-floppers or stubborn rightist's who will do and say whatever they have to to win.

Go McCain.
