(CNN) - So what exactly did Barack Obama and King Abdullah discuss when the monarch drove the presidential candidate to the airport? CNN’s Candy Crowley asked the Illinois senator that very question.
Obama didn’t divulge “confidences between myself and King Abdullah” to Crowley. But he said the ride was smooth – perhaps too smooth for some.
“I gather he was going faster than it felt while I was in the car,” said Obama. “That is the report I was getting from the Secret Service afterwards.”
King Abudllah II of Jordan drove Obama to the airport in a Mercedes 600 this week as Obama readied to fly from Jordan to Israel. Their ride followed a meeting regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict.

I have been reading these posts and it seems like a lot of people want us to be hated by foreign countries. Obama is having all these nations happy to see an American and our great political process. However, all I get from all of you is cry cry cry. I thought we'd want to rebuild our relationships with other nations after the last 8 years..? I guess not. Go on vote McCain, but when nothing changes and can't even work with our allies, don't go crying. Wake up, all of you.
About the ride, he was offered the ride. You don't turn down a ruler, especially in his own land. Stop crying all of you.
What? McCain has never been driven around like that? No, he just rode for free in his wifes corporate jet and only paid for the trips when it came to light.

Every day I am shocked to see polls where more than 2% of Americans are planning to vote for John McCain. Why are so many (though not enough) people willing to vote against their own, and their nation's best interests? Must just really, really LOVE war.

NoMcSame, If Obama were white, he wouldn't be the Democratic nominee. The vast majority of people who don't support him see he lacks enough expereince for the toughest job on earth. His race has nothing to do with it. I'd vote for colin powell in a heart beat, but not that amateur.

Ok the man demands attention. He deserves it because he is polished. His style is a perfect fit for the CNN political coronation promotional tour. I am voting for Obama but I didn't drink the kool-aid and this man who will serve "we the people" needs more than a Madonna PR tour for to nail down an understanding of his politics. I listened to jim clancy, i admire Jim Clancy but disaapointed with his comment that obama thinks he is above everybody. i think Jim clancy sounded personal after the news conference in france. You need to be objective to your viewers
I think its great, he rides in private autos with kings, he has pix of him and Gen. Petraeus laughing it up in helicopters, he fist bumps his wife on stage. I think all this is far better than watching Clinton play the saxophone.

I know of no sitting US president or candidate that has ever gotten the positive embrace Obama has received from this diplomatic 'war-repair' trip abroad. McCain is no match – Not even anywhere near the same league as Obama. Let's move our country forward & not park it in a 1950's war zone.
