This all boils down to Nov 4th. Tween now and then, we will all get a clearer picture on who Obama and Mccain really are and not just the vague collection of thoughts meant to hook and land a voter. Let's keep our eyes open.

Barack Obama is truely what we need in the United States. I listen to what some of the Republicans have to say and its so self centered. They only think whats best for people like themselves. People who are rich and conservative. I see jealousy and no smarts about them. We need a President thats going to look after and help the average man. A person cannot be objective about a situation unless that person has experience the situation. The high gas prices, people losing their homes and no good jobs. Republicans blaming people and lenders for the foreclosure problem and forgetting that those same people have invested in paying taxes in this country. They need a return on their investment which is a good paying job in the United States, gas to get to work and enough of this Bush administartion that got us in this mess. Things will get more worse if we dont change the problem at hand. McCain is the same problem. Voting for McCain is voting for Bush. How crazy is that? Gos bless American and Barack Obama.

Any critics of Obama who have vainly been trying to portray Obama as unexperienced on foreign affairs and diplomacy should be ashamed of themselves. Obama's tour in Middle-East and Europe has proven the opposite. The truth ought to be said, recognized, and acknowledged. The truth is that the man (Obama) is a great leader, a leader loved and reverred worldwide, and a leader whose authority effects (impacts on) people in the world as if the distinct countries of the world have become the provinces the USA. The people of the world considers Obama not as the next president of the USA, but rather as their next president.

I could not be prouder of the super job Obama has done on his recent foreign trip. Yes, he deserves to catch his breath. But then he will continue to motivate, inspire and move this nation in the positive direction it so desperately needs.

Critical reports? Have you even compared the two candidates, and what they're doing? McCain is having one screw up after another, Obama is playing it perfect. Obama's been goping nonstop since last year! He went straight from the primaries into the general election mode without a real break. Then you have McCain who takes every weekend off. It would be nice to have a president who WORKS HARD for the American people as opposed to someone rolling around in a golf cart or wandering through chesse aisles all the time.

Obama could spend the next several months at the beach and he'd still win in a landslide. McCain is kicking his own butt more than enough for Barack to take a well-earned break.

So, who's paying for this world-wind trip anyway? Gee, wish I could take a two-week round-the-world tour with national leaders, pose for photo ops, and then call myself all experienced up in national affairs!

But the Germans have a real interest in the guy demonstrating that interest to the tune of 200,000 which is more than Reagan or Kennedy when they talked to the Germans as presidents. 83% of the Japanese and 70% of Australians follow the American presidential campaign because Obama is a flashpoint and interesting to the world. The press coverage isn't igniting this interest. The appearance and demeanor of Obama is. I don't know if he will make it to the Presidency. I'm uncertain as to what is good for the nation. What seems clear to me is that international interest in Obama is genuine and seems not to be predicated on the press.

A day at the beach will make Obama an expert in oceanography, just like a week abroad made him an expert in foreign policy. How do you spell UNQUALIFIED? O-B-A-M-A.

This is news? What a suck-up puff piece! The media continues to run stories like this, and then has the nerve to say it is "objective." What nonsense! Earlier today one CNN anchor (I believe it was Colleen McEdwards) noted that Obama had visited eight countries in eight days, and then felt obligated to add, "Incredible!" Well, maybe it was a tough job for the pilots and the security staff, but I doubt the wonder-boy carried his own luggage. (He probably didn't even pick out his own neckties... leaving that for a staffer and a focus group.)

I know you folks in the news are drooling at the thought of putting the most liberal (if not socialist) candidate in history into the White House, but could you at least stop drooling on Obama directly? it's starting to look pretty pathetic – and don't be surprised if it ends up working against him. (I'm thinking of selling bumper stickers that read, "Annoy the media, vote for McCain!")

Of course, we conservatives (left without a candidate at all) will have the last laugh, after Obama screws things up so badly that he will become the most hated President in history, prompting the election of a conservative Congress in 2010. At that point, the media will have even more sour faces than they had when Bush beat Gore and Kerry.

Jeepers, leave the poor dude alone! He's just trying to find his way like everyone else. He's no hero, he's no saint, he's no demon, he's no fool. You reap what you sew. John McCain sold-out to GW in '04 and hired all the people responsible for lambasting him in 2000. If he had remained the voice of Independence and not reversed on a number of issues people would still respect the man. As is, John McCain is just another casualty of GW's administration...a sad reminder of what the Republican Party can do to a good soldier.

I've said it over and over again and I will say it one more time. Obama's lead in the polls doesn't look so impressive given how much the dems have blamed the repubs for being screw ups. His lead should be more than 20 points now and it isn't. There are still a lot of people not buying Obama's story and I think it's going to be closer in November than people think.

First it was the presidential seal of presumption, now he looks like a severe rookie next to President Hamid Karzai and Iraqi prime minister Nuri al-Maliki, and he looks like a little boy sitting in the helicopter on next to General David Petraeus.

He is personable and likable, but if elected this kid will get chewed up on the international scene.

The American people have great intuition in this things, that why there is no poll bounce here. He should have stayed home, in the more civilized softer environment he looks fine. (like Europe)

Obviously we know John McCain has been tested in the severe environment that is found in many nations we have to engage. It does get any tougher than being tortured by them. I think we need to consider that Europe is not Iraq, or China, or Iran. While it is important to engage our allies, we need to be able to deal with those countries who are more of the rough and tumble sort.

I don't think that calling McCain 'McWar' as some have really cuts it. Does anyone really think that someone who was a POW for 6 years is really all about war. Let me tell you the difference between President Bush and John McCain, since everyone wants to know what it is. When it comes to commander in chief John McCain actually knows what he is doing. John McCain was an actual soldier who saw combat. Mr. Bush was a periodic Air National Guard wanna-be.

When it comes to being Commander in Chief it is OBAMA that is like President Bush, a military wanna-be sitting in a chopper with General Petraeus just trying to look like he knows what he is doing.

Ok guys watch this: The McCain campaign criticizes Obama for beginning to put in place a transitional team and accuse him of being presumptuous.

Now when McCain is asked about this issue he says the elections are close and so its only okay for any party looking forward to taking over the reigns of Government to begin to prepare for it.

Another one, McCain was asked in 2007 what he would do if a sovereign Iraqi Government asks the United states to leave Iraq and this is what he said: That the United states would leave if they are asked to do so.

Fast forward to friday July 25 2008 when Wolf Blitzer asked McCain the same question and draws his attention to recent indications by the Maliki administration that they are in favour of a time table for the US withdrawal from Iraq and what did McCain do.

He sidesteps the question and calls Maliki a typical politician who is just saying so because Iraqi elections are near.

When he was pressed further he came around and said the would work with a "time horizon" but it should be based on conditions.

Obama has had a very packed tour in a week. You, Willy, try to accomplish all what he did in a week and still feel completely fresh!? Is that why McCain takes the weekends to rest or does he need more nap times? As far a the comment from Michelle: Your candidate McCain as presidential candidate went abroad and did not have half the impact of Obama's fact finding trip. Europe obviously loves this guy Obama. I wonder why? Obama in his good will tour, said it in Germany that he wants to bridge again the gap left by the Bush Administration and wanted to invite the European nations to be Global partners in the problems being affronted by terrorism and the environment and the economy global being affected due to high oil price.

His trip was as a sitting US Senator, and not as the Democratic (presumptive) nominee. He was allowed to express himself as a "citizen of the world" as we all are, yet not to make statements as a political candidate.

The purpose of the trip, while being accompanied by two other sitting Senators, was to "burnish" as the media puts it, his foreign affairs presence. Well,,,,,, you have got to say,,,,, he addressed the whole world,,,,, as that "citizen" and the whole world listened....... I would say his burnished credentials puts him on par with two previous US Presidents,,,,,,,, Jack Kennedy,, and Ronald Reagan.... This was his purpose with the trip,,,,,,, and I do believe,,,,,, he has accomplished his goal......... quite so.........

Who ever said that we humans learn anything from history – despite our avowals to the contrary.

So just how does ANYONE rationalize the McCain candidacy? Obama is not perfect, no he is not the Messiah....but he is an incredibly intelligent, articulate, well-informed, effective politician (politician is not a negative – our President needs to be an effective politician). He has the energy, vision, skill, and judgement to lead our country in a new direction.

McCain is more of the same – sorry, but he has NONE of the qualities noted above. He is the riskier of the two, because he will push us over the precipice that George W led us to....It totally astounds me that anyone could vote for this man.

For some reason, it takes about 4 or 5 days for polls to start detecting the upshot from news events, though part of this has to do with the fact that polls are rolling averages. But sure enough, the bounce is there!

The kindness bestowded on Barack by foreign leaders is indicative of their desire to work with a more practical POTUS than the current administration. This also applies to their reactions and treatment of McCain. Old man, old ideas, same old ****.

They were talking about vacations becasue the day that Obama

I think that his trip has went so incredibly well. He's showing that he doesn't mind hard work and putting in the time and effort to prepare for these types of things shows his work ethic. Add to that the fact that his policies are sound, it really makes you think what the issue with all the people that don't see him as a viable candidate. Take away the two men and stack the views and stances next to each other the picture becomes very clear to me and so many others that Barack is the clear choice.

I can't wait for him to win this, then take a much needed vacation after november, then come in fresh in January to clean house.

So let me get this straight.

Barack Obama has been in the U.S campaigning since October 2007, hitting every state, talking to hundreds of thousands of people, and he visits Europe for one week to meet the leaders there, and McCain says he is "feeling left out" and wondering if the American people feel that way too? How can that NOT sound like sour grapes and envy for not taking the trip first?

That McCain is a piece of work.

The reason that Obama's stunning performance abroad gave him "no bounce in the polls," Michelle, is the deplorable ignorance of so many of the US people who still do not understand that our problems can only be solved globally, and that the sine-qua-non of those solutions we all need is good will towards America. Btw, you sound as if you're really hurting under the weight of that green-eyed monster there.

ALL WORK AND NO PLAY – I remember Bill Clinton was always working around the clock (regardless of jokes about what else he might be doing) When Bill Clinton was campaigning his voice was sometimes hoarse from one to many speeches in a row. I have seen Obama wear himself out during the Primaries and I wish he would cancel some events and visit his Family in Hawaii for a week; but it won't happen. Like Bill Clinton someone who understands that god has given him this one chance to make the world a better place, Peace and Prosperity in our time and our childrens time – can't seem to rest until the job is done – which it never is.

The Republicans have had 10+ years to saturate media, polling organizations and voting equipment manufacturers with their secret, and not-so-secret operatives (e.g. Diebold, Wall Street Journal,). Polls at this point are being corrupted by these operative in every way untraceable to suppress or distort presentation of opinion contrary to their intent.

Obama has a mostly terrific international tour (I think the Berlin speech was too much of a circus), while McCain stumbles repeatedly, is caught lying about the surge, and has his essay rejected by a newspaper that endorses his candidacy. Yet the polls show nothing.

Ignore Opinion Polls for now, and MAKE SURE voting machines are not set up to delete valid Democratic votes and manufacture false Republican votes, as happened in Florida in 2000.

A well deserved break. Spend time with that beautiful family, so you can get your mojo on and we can come together as a country and elect the man who does, so well, represent the changes needed in our country.

It is not Obama that needs to hit the beach, it's the Republican party and their tools that are washed up.

Try and come home and rebut MCain's advertisement, and his boring town hall speeches. He thinks he has advantage on the war that is all he knows war, war, war, war. We do not need a president who want to bomb every country who disagree with his view, we need a president who is welling to talk to other leaders about world economic growth and peace.

I find it refreshing that a US presidential nominee takes the time to meet with his would-be peers. We live on one world, and all the countries are nothing but artificial boundarys.

Yesterday I saw Sen. McCain in the Situation Room.
I realy felt sorry for him.
I saw a tired man who told us that he know how to win wars,

OBama is really something special. If you look at his record, you will see that this guy is no here today and gone tomorrow. This guy is the real deal. First African American President of Havard Law review. Doing the impossible by winning the Democratic nomination (a real David and goliath story). Now look at his foreign trip. A success of the highest order.

Life is not easy and unfortunately, things are not usually presented to us on a silver platter. If it was, life would be very easy. Obama has been presented to us, and it is up to us to put the pieces together. If we do, we will see that this is a man that can deliver the goods.Simply put, I think a miracle is happening right in front of our eyes. But sometimes it is hard to see a miracle when you're living it.

Barack Obama is a true leader. Just what this country needs. He is very intelligent, honest, he has moral values and interity. He rises above the petty name calling, dirty tricks and he doesn't whinn. He doesn't play dirty. We have to have a strong leader to create jobs, address the housing market, bring gas prices down and bring our wonderful military home.

Barack Obama will be the next President of the USA. He will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents' in history.

Obama has worked harder in this campaign than Bush has these past 8 years. McCain doesn't do weekends. The world doesn't wait til the weekend is over, and neither does Obama. But he does need to stop and catch his breath, and refuel every once and a while. The man is not a machine.

I don't remember any other presidential candidate going to so many foreign countries during the last stagges of an election year. Wonder if the money that was donated to help in his campain here at home is what he is using to go on his " world wide vacation".
Does he think it's better to spend time in other countries then it is to be in the USA talking to American voters about American problems and American issues. After all it's we American's he will be working for IF he gets elected.

Senator Obama did a more than good job boosting the picture of the US in the world and still, the voters don`t understand this. How sad. A "once in a lifetime chance" and most of the ordinary people, White or African American, don`t see the Global picture.

And now, like a CEO of a very big Company start to think one hour a day. As a retired manager I know exactly what it means to have such a schedule like Senator Obama.

During a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer and Mccain. Mccain said that a 16 months timetable to withdrawl from Iraq was a good Idea. Mccain has never agreed to any timetable. Now that Pres. Bush, PM Maliki has signed on to Obama's 16 month strategy now Mccain has also signed on. Mccain also is in denial. Wolf asked Mccain if he was president and PM Maliki persist on a 16 month withdrawl what would he do? Mccains answer was he wont because He know PM Maliki very well and he knows he has elections comming up. Therefore, Mccain is saying that Maliki is calling for a timetable to withdrawl from Iraq to win an election. Why else would he say, I know him, He wont persist on a withdrawl from Iraq, and he has elections comming up.

Wow! A potential president that is honest open and humble what a breath of fresh air it will be to have. I only wish the Republican party could have put someone out there that has this mans intelligence, humility, honestly and yes spirituality. Instead we got the typical SO called Neo Conservative thought he really is not. McCain takes every weekend off and Obama is going to wait until August to take a break. McCain's weekend breaks don't seem to stop him from making mistakes, maybe it would help if McCain took a permanent break, I see no other solution.
