I heard "Black in America" is up for an award as the best POLITICAL show of the year. It must be true or why else would CNN be running it during the election instead of before or after. Your continued favoritism towards Barack Hussein is creating a backlash in America and it's evident in the polls.

How any patriotic American could vote for a man who voted against an ammendment to immigration bill 1348 to make English the official language of the United States is simply Anti- American. Yet that is exactly what Barack Hussein Obama did on June 6, 2007. This man is a definite globalist and after hearing his Berlin speech he will sell out the United States at the drop of a hat.

The question always comes up, or at least it lingers under the surface: "Is America ready for a black president?" Fair question.

My question is: "Is America ready for a senile, whining, ill-tempered, tasteless-jokes president?"

Advice to Obama's campaign:

Take advantage of the OIL SPILL that occured when mcCANE tried to stage a photo op in the gulf. Don't let this one get away!! The media is covering up the OIL SPILL……use it agasint mcCANE. he thinks offshore drilling is a winning issue. throw it in his face!!!

Whether you like or dislike McCain there is one thing for sure, this man is scary. It is in the best interest of Americans to listen to McCain very closely because he sure isn't listening to the American people. There will be no world peace with McCain, no diplomacy, no good judgement but there will be war. McCain's political agenda is becoming clearer every day and Americans should be listening closely.

Remy, Titusville, Florida   July 27th, 2008 1:15 pm ET

I just read in the German SPIEGEL magazine that McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds referred to the crowd at Sen. Obama's Berlin speech as (German) "kriecherisch" which would translate into something like 'bootlicking', 'crawling', 'fawning', or even 'creepy'.

As I could not find that statement anywhere on CNN, my questions are: 1) Which word did Tucker Bounds actually use? 2) Is it a sign of sound judgement in world politics to insult the people of Berlin?

I had no intentions to bring up the skeweness of the media, but I have to say it. I don't understand Suzzane Malveau' s comment that Obama will be indebted to the African Americans because 90% of them support Obama. The comment is ignorant because democrats regardless of the race of the nominee always received 90% of the Black vote. Ever since the democrats have nominated a Black candidate I have never heard such astonishing, upsurb and ignorant comments from the media while disregarding history. I hope the reporting gets better.

yess   July 27th, 2008 1:01 pm ET

If Senator Obama is not voted for, and Senator Mccain is voted to win this election, it will be because of racism. It will be terrible for the Americans to vote for the last administration that was terrible in ruling.

But, If Americans like let them vote for the last administration to be back, you all will have yourself to blame. Even if he is not elected, Senator Obama and his family will be doing well. You all will be the one to suffer in McCains administration.

sasy   July 27th, 2008 12:59 pm ET

In Senator Obama's reference to Affirmative action, I quite agree with the Senator Obama that every race needs to be look into by restructuring the policy. I have seen some whites going through difficulty of meeting up in the society and there should also be programs to look into these groups. For your information, I am black myself.

John   July 27th, 2008 12:59 pm ET

The media is playing a bigger role this month trying to Brain wash everyone into Tricking them out of your vote. I really don't see Obama as good leader to be President! It seems to me that Cnn has over run these one sided News stories, putting down McCain. Just like before trashing the Clinton candidate. What a joke this Unity Convertion is!! Why don't Obama have a Convertion with McCain and stop all this small talk that CNN News go's wild for. Obama needs to stop hiding behind small talk, a eight day trip don't make your a great Leader.

BUSHED!!!!   July 27th, 2008 12:56 pm ET

NoMccain   July 27th, 2008 12:56 pm ET

You think they would have been able to at least get the coordination correct! They should be being questioned together at the same time! Why is this so difficult to understand? News agencies keep dancing around the subject of letting them go head to head, but the reality is, they will wait until the LAST MINUTE to perpetuate the practice of keeping the public misinformed and wondering.

Gary Chandler in Canada   July 27th, 2008 12:56 pm ET

MSM is idiotic. Several posters to these blogs have, correctly, pointed out that the splurge is NOT a success. I am not the only one. The MSM predicates it was a succes, because McCain says it was!?
When McCain calls for Splurge 2 will you then see it is an artificial dam holding back a flood? More likely you say it worked once, so it will work again???
A surge, by definition, is a flash flood. Petreus and McCain built a dam and a weak dam. McCain even says 'it is a precarious success'.
precarious <<<<rhymes with Petreus!
the ONLY WAY to make it a great success is reinforcement it over 1000 years!

Karl Rove   July 27th, 2008 12:48 pm ET

I'm glad to see McCain adopt the same sllezy tactics that helped me take him down in 2000. We all know the Ameriacn people are too dumb to look past the soundbites. Sallie   July 27th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

I want to ask Wolf and CNN: What do you really mean when you keep repeating that Senator Obama "appears to be presumptuous by going to the Mid-east and Europe"? Didn't John McCain go to the same places and Canada, Mexico and Colombia? Why was't he "presumptuous"? I can only conclude that what you really mean is that the African American candidate was "uppity", where in the White candidate was just being a presidential candidate. You and your network just cannot believe that a black man can be intelligent enough or popular enough to become president. You need to stop housing your bias in long words and just call Obama uppity. It's what you mean any way.

janet   July 27th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

Too bad that McCain whines about a lack of media coverage, yet failed to accept an invitation to speak at the UNITY journalism convention. You don' t get to have it both ways: complain about a lack of attention and spend your weekend having a barbecue and resting at home. Senator, if you want coverage, then you must get out and do something other than invoke the holiness of the surge and bash Obama.

Obama's appearance at the convention has been incredible. Even after a week of non-stop meetings and travel, in which he represented the US in a respectful, dignified manner, Obama appeared at the convention. He is poised, informative, direct and honest in answering questions from the hosts and from the journalists.

I am proud of Obama and very proud of the way he has represented all of this during the past week. What a refreshing change from the current administration which used a speech in Israel to bash Obama or gives out back rubs to foreign heads of state. We need some diplomacy and dignity.

Connie   July 27th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

Boy I can't wait I will be trilled to hear about the surge again and again and again and again. Lets ask McSenile about all of his misstatements he has been making or the fact that he insisted that Obama make the trip he did last week, then criticized him and has all but called him a trader.
Oh! I know lets take it easy on the old man.I wish you would ask McSenile why he voted for this senseless war in the first place and did not stand up with the general that called for more boots on the ground in the start. Did Saddam Hussein own more that eight houses like the McSeniles do????? Connie from Indiana

McCain 1000 more years in Iraq!
His answer to a caller on Wolf Blitzer, to define peace, can only lead to 1000 more years.
First, he will not admit the Invasion was a mistake. He says it was not done right. (Shock and Awe was not enough?)
This post might be the first time you hear a future major headline.
"McCain Calls for Splurge 2!"
To fulfill his goals for 'victory' it is going to take about 100 more 'Surges'.
The Utopia he proposed on Blitzer will require the continuation of the Police State until the next generation grows up under his imposed will.
(American style democracy, all factions living in peace and harmony, no influence from Iran, a just legal system, prosperity for all Iraqis) <<<< Can he do it? No he can NOT!

Raymond Duke   July 27th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

Forgot one statement. Why would John McCain want to waste his time attending that "UNITY O8" Jourtnalist f function in chicago for journalist of color. 98% of the blacks will vote for Obama because of him being black. Heck if they screwed Hillary and Bill Clinton for him after him being the best president for black people in america and showed no loyalty because Obama is black. John don't waste your time. Color is the only thing that matters to the blacks. They don't have enough of a population to carry any significance in the General anyway.

The press is too lenient to Sen. McCain, McBush!!

McCain, really McSAME, is a hypocritical, old, senile, FLIP-FLOPPING jerk:

- He's jealous of Sen. Obama: he is a boring constipated communicator with no intelligence or charismatic appeal. His trips abroad to Canada, Columbia, Mexico drew little from the press. That's why he's choking about Barrack's success.

- McCain, McBush, McSame is the one who has CHANGED HIS POSITIONS on almost every IMPORTANT issue (Bush's tax cuts, and now his 100-years-in-Iran lunacy, immigration, economy-is-not-my-strong-suit, etc...)

- McCain, McSenile is an old relic that belongs to a museum. America cannot afford such a used up jerk, snake-like whistling speaker, and automaton-arms-like clown to project the image of our country in front of the world for four year!! (he's too old and won't last more than that).

- McDirty-joke is UNRESPECTFUL to women (he is attributed dirty joke telling how women like being raped by gorillas).

- This man graduated last at the naval academic (proving his lack of intelligence) and only got where he is from his father's nepotism, and marrying into money as a common gold-digger!

Obama is risky/. I am scared of him and his policies. I think that he is an opportunist as well as a big big ego. He could be dangerous to our country.

What was the reason for the German speech? Was it to lower gas prices? Was it to sell more US products to Europe? Was it to get the Germans a VISA to come to the US and spend money? What was the purpose of this speech.

McCain is not risky. He will support our values and he will support our way of life. He will defend the US of A. McCain will not let Iran develop nuclear weapons. He will win the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan and do it before his first term is up.

If Obama wants the war over, how come he hasn't introduced legislation in the Democratic Congress. Now that is a test if you ask me.

"How can we possibly find honor in using the fate of our servicemen to score political advantage in Washington? There is no pride to be had in such efforts. We are at war, a hard and challenging war, and we do no service for the best of us-those who fight and risk all on our behalf-by playing politics with their service."

In June, McCain apologized for using the image of Gen. David Petraeus in a political mailer, saying that politicization of the military would "not happen again" in his campaign.

Authored by John McCain-how ironic!

I bet Obama gets a lot better treatment at cnn then McCain will. Why do you think cnn has been running that crap "BLACK IN AMERICA" over and over. They have been trying to show how we the whites have mistreated the poor "BLACK" folk and that we should repent , face the "WHITE GUILT" that apparently the liberals and the liberal media have an elect this man because of his color regardless of the facts that he has no real qualifications and is well documented by his wife and friends and himself that he is anti- american.I love himtelling the Germans and the french , now is our time. CNN: "McCain camp rips Obama for cutting troop visit"

Very pathetic of McCain and his camp to criticize Obama for not visiting troops, while overseas, when it was the Pentagon that raised "concerns".

As a matter of fact, McCain would have criticized anyway. If Obama would have visited the troops in Germany, McCain would have argued that he was using the troops for political gain (as the trip to Europe was a political trip). If Obama would have cancelled (as he did) to avoid that perception, then you see their comments now.

Can you believe a politician complaining that the opponent did not visit more people while on a campaign trip? Not only was the pentagon that show "concerns", but it is also highly inappropriate of McCain to criticize Obama on this and it shows the level of desperation, emptiness and lack of message and solutions of McCain.

1. Doing/Saying something worthy of covering. Don't just pander. Be a bit more innovative.

2. Attending the Journalist conference. You can't complain if you refuse attending such important conference

3. Taking a trip abroad. It's your idea to have Obama traveling abroad. Why don't you take another yourself?

I hope McCain will be asked how he managed to immediately air his ad about the canceled troop visit in Germany. It certainly appears that the Pentagon "set up" Senator Obama in coordination with the McCain campaign.

Now that Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki is in agreement with Senator Obama about troop withdrawals, the GOP (Grand Oil Party) is focusing on offshore and Arctic drilling as a key part of their campaign strategy. The neocons helped drive up the price of gas by blocking alternative energy development, and by refusing to regulate speculators. Now, the exorbitant gas prices are being used to influence the presidential campaign, AND to extort from the American people more perks for Big Oil.

Hopefully the majority of Americans will see through the manipulations and dirty tricks this time around.

Liz   July 27th, 2008 11:36 am ET

I turned on Late Edition to wach Wolf Blitzer's interview with John McCain and all I saw was his talk with another reporter about Obama's live appearance at the Unity Convention. That's what I mean about being bias towards Obama. The only thing that should have interruppted this McCain's interview should have been the advertisements and not talk about Obama's upcoming live appearance. That is taking away time from McCain's slot of an hour supposedly between 11 and 12. I am really getting tired of CNN's unfair bias attention to Obama. If you are going to show a program on one candidate, do not include anything else about the other candidate. I am going to watch and see if Obama's slot of time is going to be interrupted with talk about McCain.

I am not a McCain supporter but this same thing used to happen when Hillary Clinton was running against Obama.. CNN stop your bias reporting and be fair to the other candidate.

Dems2008   July 27th, 2008 11:36 am ET

I was so disappointed with this interview w/ McCain. Mr. Blitzer was a wimp and did not hold Senator McCain to anything. He waffled on statements, like we won the war, we are winning the war, its not over, but we've succeeded. Which is it? Have we won or are we winning? He didn't answer the viewers questions, esp. the one award lamans terms on when we can leave Iraq, McCain answered the question by saying when it safe to leave. What does that mean? McCain didn't answer the question regarding abortion. How did Wolf get this job? Best political team....? Whatever.... He probably wouldn't answer, but the questions weren't even asked!!

Steve   July 27th, 2008 11:33 am ET

I did not miss it.

I would like to Wolf (What kind of name is that anyway??) ask McSurge who said in the earlier interview that "if the Iraqi war had been lost" what he meant by that? Cause he clearly said it. And "If" the war has been won, which it was when Saddam Army was defeated and he went to trial and was sentenced to death, when will US troops begin to pull out cause it's clearly now an occupation of another foreign country who had a Democratic elected government by American standards.

while listening to John Mc Cain, its seems to me that that Mr John Mc Cain does not have sufficient understanding of global issues except the war in Iraq and Afganistan. Please someone should remind him that beyond Iraq and Afganistan, ther are other important issues concerning humanity that if not addressed by a powerful president of the greatest nation on earth, then the matters of threat and security is a mere figment and a myopic view of John McCain. I expect him to be talking about combating poverty in the world, enviromental degradation, pollution rather spending his energy attacking the views and opinnion of Barrack Obama. Does John Mc Cain know who and where his grand childrens spouses will come from? It could be Asia, South America or Africa perhaps most probably from Somalia.

McCain is not just an old man. He belongs to the breed of old men who don't know when it's time to take on more advisory role so the young, energetic and intellectually vibrant can take on the more involved leadership role. It is unfortunate that the "old moron of a special breed" who wants to be president at all cost could stoop so low as to whine on Obama's media coverage and twist every statements of Obama during his overseas trip. Having followed McCain's campaign, I didn't expect him to behave differently.

It baffles me that all McCain talks about – when he is not whining or complaining or criticing Obama – is surge, surge, and surge on a war that he supported and should never have been started. Let somebody asked this old moron, "What his broad strategic goal for the US in Iraq is?" He wants to be our president. He claims foreign policy is his tough suit but cannot write a simple essay that is good enough for publication in a national newspaper. McCain claims the economy is not his tough suit. Banks are failing, people are losing their jobs and homes, we cannot drive because of high gas prices, etc. Another old moron, McCains friend and economic adviser characterized all these as a "mental recession," and to add salt to injury, called us, "a nation of whiners." May God help and deliver us from these old morons.

For the record, the 21st century is one for peace, prosperity and progress for all peoples of the world. Unfortunately, we have learned the very hard way that the US needs to start this century all over. It is evident that President Bush and Senator McCain are no leaders, and definitely, not leaders for the 21st century. I am indeed afraid. I pray for this country. Why? In 2000, Gore was there, we chose Bush. In 2004, Kerry came; again, we chose Bush. Al Gore said recently just before endorsing Obama that these past seven and a half years have proven to him elections matter. How true!

The general elections of Year 2008 is our opportunity to have a fresh start. May God help us.

Jonathan, Hartford, CT   July 27th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Poor John McCain is just a shell of the man we knew and adored ten years ago. I know that he wants to save the Republican Party from a slow and painful death, but he is just too impaired to take on the POTUS. Sen. McCain, you are great in the Senate. You have earned the love and respect of many Americans, but you are taking on more than anyone can expect of you.

Judgement over experience   July 27th, 2008 11:29 am ET

I find it hilarious that john mccain is now saying that 16 mos in Iraq is a good time table. This was Barack's idea from day 1. Of course johnny boy had to back track his initial poor judgment of an indefinite presence in Iraq since the Iraq leader said he wants us out. So all you pitiful mccain supporters, deep down you have to admit Barack's judgment was dead on the money and mccain's as usual sucked. Besides being a MAJOR flip flop on mccain's part.

Maggie   July 27th, 2008 11:27 am ET

The real true democratic candidate is not being presented by CNN. Hillary Clinton should have been the rightful candidate because we now have a selected candidate rather than an elected candidate running for the democrats That;s why when they lose in November they have nobody to blame but themselves which are the DNC and the superdelegates.

wiser   July 27th, 2008 11:21 am ET

The next president will be Senator McCain.Americans will not be fooled by an adoring press. We will not support someone with so little experience. The press can keep pushing Senator Obama on us but the voters will not elect him. We are not electing an American Idol. We are electing a president, which is more than a popularity contest.

We will choose experience, judgment, and a genuine war hero over a zero every time!

Democrats for McCain!

Bob, Lyons Oregon,   July 27th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Barack Obama will be our next president. McCain does not have what it takes, too out of touch, and not the maverick he is pretending to be. The straight talk expressed is derailed and is no longer straight talk, just alot of bull and idiocy.

VON BISMARK,Vienna.   July 27th, 2008 11:18 am ET

Sen.McCain's master word is WAR. Idoubt if he really understands the grave demands of the office he is running for. This is really remarkable of someone who says he hates war.

I know, I know   July 27th, 2008 11:18 am ET

People out there...I understand your frustration. You know that this man has great negatives...and should not be trusted to be president of the US....but it's hard for you to explain these negatives in rational terms.
I know, i know...it's suspicious for someone to be that eloquent, that reflective in how he answers questions. What we need is someone who blurts out smple, easy to follow sound-bites...like"those people want to kill Americans"..or "I know how to win wars"I Iknow, I know.

I know, I know . it would be scary to have a president that people all over the world, ordinary folks, and government leaders alike,...all embracing and adoring an american politician. How you say, can we be comfortable with someone that the world thinks makes america and the world a better place. If foreigners like him, you intuively know tha he can't be good for America. In order for our leaders to be trust-worthy, you note, they must inspire fear, resentment, and hatred abroad, and anything less, is troubling to you....I know, I know.

I know, I know, it's nerve-wrecking that some people just can't seem to grasp a fundemental truth...that the best indicator of whether someone supports the troops is based on whether they support the war itself. I understand that it makes you livid for some to sugest that there might be better indicators, such as equipping them properly; or improving their health care and benefits. I know, I know

These have got to be tough times for you "straigt-thinking" A mericans. i want you to know that I understand......I know, I know.

The Weatherman   July 27th, 2008 11:16 am ET

Is this where we here Obama defend allowing senators to run the day to day operations of the military – just like Vietnam or.......

Is this the day where we here McCain, a military veteran, defend allowing military commanders to meet the objectives given by the commander in cheif without undue interference that causes huge troop morale issue?

The latter worked in WWII but, the democrats have been a bunch of malcontents since President Johnson -with the exclusion of President Clinton.

How does any commander in cheir make decisions without consulting the generals running the day to day operations?

Rose   July 27th, 2008 11:16 am ET

tHERE IS SIMPLY NO COMPARISON. iT IS REMARKABLY CLEAR THAT jOHN MCcAINIS LIVING IN THE PAST AND LEANS TOWARDSSENILITY, WHLE bARACK oBAMA CLEARLY HAS HIS MIND ON THE ECONOMY AND THE TOTAL PICTURE OF HOW aMERICA CAN BE BETTER AND HOW WE CAN ONCE AGAIN BE A WORLD POWER.
sORRY jOHN, BUT YOUR TIME HAS COME AND GONE, YEARS AGO

Julius above Montana   July 27th, 2008 11:15 am ET

In my estimation this is going to be one of the most divisive US elections in recent memory if John McCain wins – yes, more divisive then the 2000. Here is why.
Love him or hate him Barack Obama is sui generis. He has changed the face of US politics for generations to come…can you imagine this election without him? Let’s cut through the BS and tell it like it is there is a genuine small fraction of the population who dislike Obama’s policies for what they are; then there are others who will simply vote GOP and will not stray under any circumstances; then there are those that dislike him supposedly because of____ reasoning yet any educated person knows the reason to be a façade, in reality they cannot in their conscious vote for someone who does not look like them.

John Edwards spoke of the two Americas. Indeed, there are two, I have meet one and know only of the other to exist in the theoretical abstract. I met two people from Boston in Vancouver Canada (two of the kindest most sincere down people you’ll ever met….and recently in Hawaii I also met similar people. This is one type of America. The other is the uneducated hillbillies with two front teeth missing with the most intolerant of intolerant uneducated nonsensical views. These two people live in one world and for that I feel tremendous sympathy for those likeminded folks I met from Boston. Should this election be decided but a bunch of closed minded uneducated people then it is the most of incredible losses in mankind history. When you juxtaposition the two candidates the choices could not be anymore clearer in this election. In any other industrialized country on earth Obama would win by 20+ points but these are the same people that voted in Bush twice. America – the world will stop on November Nov. 4th 2008 to watch. Contrast the headlines with an Obama victory vs. McCain’s.

Walt, Belton,TX   July 27th, 2008 11:12 am ET

How much do you want to bet that he shakes John McCains hand and kisses Obama's, uh....., ring?

Loretta from California   July 27th, 2008 11:11 am ET

I'm glad there will be equal coverage. I would also like to see equal favorable and negative reporting of the candidates. Someone might tell Lou Dobbs to do the same. His coverage of Senator Obama is always critical or negative. So before you throw stones at the media at large, Mr. Dobbs, "Clean your own house."

Carl from MI   July 27th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Remember when the Bush Administration was floating test ballons about not being able to have elections if we were in the middle of a terrorist attack? Dubya hasn't left the Oval Office just yet... there's still time for him to find a way to stay on for a third term!!!

McLoser   July 27th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Obama dont let that phony get away with all the whining he's been doing while you were gone. stick it to that flip flopping loser and expose that traitor for what he is.

Herman in LA   July 27th, 2008 11:06 am ET

It sure wont be John McCain he need to go back to the senate with someone else that I know who hasn't help Obama by running the campaign that they ran.

Florida   July 27th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Dont forget to ask him if he needs a pillow! I bet you wont Wolf.

Obama 08: mature, white woman   July 27th, 2008 11:03 am ET

Why no coverage on the blog of the article attributed to CNN that McCain was turned down a military visit in April and his campaign followed this ban stating, "We Follow the rules."

Or that research shows that though the media may cover Obama more they are much harder on them. Let's face it the anchors that went were more excited about being there to cover a gaffe or a misstep.

So by all means even up the coverage but let's have equal scrutiny.
For example McCain stating that Iraq was the first major conflict after 911!!

Enlightened Voter   July 27th, 2008 10:57 am ET

You couldn't pay me to watch john mccain lie and talk about the surge, iraq, Obama and the surge again. It should be a brief interview after he's done lying. I eagerly await Barack though to hear his sound ideas.

William, from Cali!   July 27th, 2008 10:54 am ET

This could only happen on CNN, no less...............the "in the tank Network, for Obama and the democRATS"!........What is it, that we are suppose to learn, from their "promises and "just words" speeches?; Anything that's new, and will be "enlighting" to us and the rest of the World? Something, that they won't come back and flip-flop on later ?Or more, realtime "political sideshow pandering, for votes"? I've heard enough, "questions & answers" dialog, from the both of them.......................................................Just words of speeches, mean nothing! I'm not buying, into the hype! I won't be watching; and I "won't miss it, ither"!

A Nightingale Sings in Berkley Square   July 27th, 2008 10:49 am ET

Obama left his prayer so it could be found and exploited. He is an opportunist of the third kind. He is risky. Be careful America. I am comfortable with McCain but I am nervous with Obam.

Obama is risky/. I am scared of him and his policies. I think that he is an opportunist as well endowed with a big, big ego.

Joseph Adewole   July 27th, 2008 10:39 am ET

Daddy and Son; which one will be able to use his intelligence to counter all the evils of this world and bring good tidings to The American People? Everything cannot be war, war, war and war; America and Americans have been suffering for the past EIGHT years.
The relationship of America with the outside world is important to the safety of Americans.....Which of these two men will deliver much needed peace and safety to the Americans?

Jackie   July 27th, 2008 10:27 am ET

I do appreciate much about CNN but CNN does not have the best political team in television and should stop saying they do.

Mike Dallas   July 27th, 2008 10:25 am ET

CNN you did the right thing by having McCrypt later in the day That way when the dodderin' old man makes a "gaffe" the Republican Dittohead can choose the reason that the "gaffe" was made because:

1. It was one of McCrypt's days off.

2. It was WAY past his bedtime.

3. Lieberman was not available as "Vice Whisperer".

Suggestion: To recreate that McCrypt "global" vision backdrop:

1. Cordone off the cheese aisle at Wal-Mart.

2. Reproduce that angry old man babbling "My Friends, it is the surge"
"My Friends, it is the surge"
"My Friends, it is the surge"
While there is no news here, it is guaranteed to make the rest of us
nodd off.

Recreating the "global" view of McCrypt can be obtained by

1. Mentioning Barack Obama.

2. Separating McCrypt from his daily dosage of prune-juice.

Rob   July 27th, 2008 10:24 am ET

Ok Wolf I will watch but if McSurge says 'surge' one more time I will flip the channel faster than McFlop changes his stance on issues.

James   July 27th, 2008 10:20 am ET

Wolf please ask Sen McCain if he thinks that his current attacking Sen Obama for not visiting the wounded troops in Landstuhl Germany, is the ad distorted, dishonest & if he is not worried about being portrayed as a hypocrite, considering he had a similar incident with the Pentagon as reported by CNN April 3, 2008. It really appears as if McCain is attacking Obama unjustly and using the wounded soldiers as a political ploy.

Wolf <Keep them both Honest!

Tony   July 27th, 2008 10:18 am ET

John McCain is an extremely desperate man, as is apparent since Obama's trip to Europe. I am sitting here watching "This Week" with George Stephanopolous. He has no record of his onw to stand on so he continues to Obama bash every chance he gets.

I hope the American voter pays close attention and recognizes his desperation, old ideas, and republican fear and war mogering tactics.

McCain is an old man with very old ideas, and agrees with more of Bush's policies than he wants anyone to know.

Let's make sure another republican does NOT end up back in the White House in November. Hopfully the American people have paid attention to the last 8 years and the damage done to this country by Bush and his pals.

JoeBloe   July 27th, 2008 10:17 am ET

I have to wonder exactly to whom John McCain is speaking when he says 'My Friends'? Is it figurative (the crowd before him) or is he literally speaking to HIS friends.

Joyce E. Neal, Nashville, TN   July 27th, 2008 10:14 am ET

Why won't McCain stop attacking Obama on issues that won't put gas in my car and let the Country know his agenda for getting America back on track?

Samuel   July 27th, 2008 10:14 am ET

That prayer was very nice and sincere! However, that was between him and the Lord Jesus Christ. This should have never been shown on this site. Prayers are private matters between God and the Follower.
The press sure will shame themselves at nothing just to get ratings. May God forgive you!

Torrez   July 27th, 2008 10:10 am ET

All McCain is going to do is cry about something that Obama is doing.

Janey/Michigan   July 27th, 2008 10:03 am ET

I will definitely be watching at 1100 with John McCain–but not the Obama time. I am anxious to hear JM because he is for Americans–I have no interest in watching the "best political team" fawn over the egocentric Obama. I am sure CNN will have "millions of young voters" clicking in to Obama when they get out of bed at noon! I just hope Americans come to their senses before Nov. McCain 2008

Josh   July 27th, 2008 10:03 am ET

I wonder how many ways the Obama haters will twist this. I'm sure whatever route they will take, it will be lacking logic and morality, as usual.

Richard   July 27th, 2008 10:00 am ET

I cant wait till the debates. Its going to be like a high school kid debating a college graduate. Obama will smoke McCain and show the American people he is the one that will fix America.

Griff   July 27th, 2008 9:56 am ET

Then I will just watch the Earlier one. Of John McCain.. (The next President)...

andrew s. rostolder   July 27th, 2008 9:52 am ET

mcain will probably forget where the place is...
