I heard "Black in America" is up for an award as the best POLITICAL show of the year. It must be true or why else would CNN be running it during the election instead of before or after. Your continued favoritism towards Barack Hussein is creating a backlash in America and it's evident in the polls.

How any patriotic American could vote for a man who voted against an ammendment to immigration bill 1348 to make English the official language of the United States is simply Anti- American. Yet that is exactly what Barack Hussein Obama did on June 6, 2007. This man is a definite globalist and after hearing his Berlin speech he will sell out the United States at the drop of a hat.

The question always comes up, or at least it lingers under the surface: "Is America ready for a black president?" Fair question.

My question is: "Is America ready for a senile, whining, ill-tempered, tasteless-jokes president?"

Whether you like or dislike McCain there is one thing for sure, this man is scary. It is in the best interest of Americans to listen to McCain very closely because he sure isn't listening to the American people. There will be no world peace with McCain, no diplomacy, no good judgement but there will be war. McCain's political agenda is becoming clearer every day and Americans should be listening closely.

I just read in the German SPIEGEL magazine that McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds referred to the crowd at Sen. Obama's Berlin speech as (German) "kriecherisch" which would translate into something like 'bootlicking', 'crawling', 'fawning', or even 'creepy'.

As I could not find that statement anywhere on CNN, my questions are: 1) Which word did Tucker Bounds actually use? 2) Is it a sign of sound judgement in world politics to insult the people of Berlin?

I had no intentions to bring up the skeweness of the media, but I have to say it. I don't understand Suzzane Malveau' s comment that Obama will be indebted to the African Americans because 90% of them support Obama. The comment is ignorant because democrats regardless of the race of the nominee always received 90% of the Black vote. Ever since the democrats have nominated a Black candidate I have never heard such astonishing, upsurb and ignorant comments from the media while disregarding history. I hope the reporting gets better.

If Senator Obama is not voted for, and Senator Mccain is voted to win this election, it will be because of racism. It will be terrible for the Americans to vote for the last administration that was terrible in ruling.

But, If Americans like let them vote for the last administration to be back, you all will have yourself to blame. Even if he is not elected, Senator Obama and his family will be doing well. You all will be the one to suffer in McCains administration.

In Senator Obama's reference to Affirmative action, I quite agree with the Senator Obama that every race needs to be look into by restructuring the policy. I have seen some whites going through difficulty of meeting up in the society and there should also be programs to look into these groups. For your information, I am black myself.

The media is playing a bigger role this month trying to Brain wash everyone into Tricking them out of your vote. I really don't see Obama as good leader to be President! It seems to me that Cnn has over run these one sided News stories, putting down McCain. Just like before trashing the Clinton candidate. What a joke this Unity Convertion is!! Why don't Obama have a Convertion with McCain and stop all this small talk that CNN News go's wild for. Obama needs to stop hiding behind small talk, a eight day trip don't make your a great Leader.

You think they would have been able to at least get the coordination correct! They should be being questioned together at the same time! Why is this so difficult to understand? News agencies keep dancing around the subject of letting them go head to head, but the reality is, they will wait until the LAST MINUTE to perpetuate the practice of keeping the public misinformed and wondering.

MSM is idiotic. Several posters to these blogs have, correctly, pointed out that the splurge is NOT a success. I am not the only one. The MSM predicates it was a succes, because McCain says it was!?
When McCain calls for Splurge 2 will you then see it is an artificial dam holding back a flood? More likely you say it worked once, so it will work again???
A surge, by definition, is a flash flood. Petreus and McCain built a dam and a weak dam. McCain even says 'it is a precarious success'.
precarious <<<<rhymes with Petreus!
the ONLY WAY to make it a great success is reinforcement it over 1000 years!

I'm glad to see McCain adopt the same sllezy tactics that helped me take him down in 2000. We all know the Ameriacn people are too dumb to look past the soundbites. I told John forget your history of being a respectable politician - you need to distort, spin, lie to win. Glad to finally have you on the Dark Side with W, Cheney and I!

We just saw our next President take questions at the UNITY conference: Barack Obama. John McCain's interview will be his usual nitwit speak. I want a President whom I trust and whom I and the rest of the world respect.

Go Barack!!

Why isn't McCain addressing the Unity Journlism Meeting in Chicago?

Why hasn't the media asked McCain if he would change his mind about going to Iraq in the first place? Everyone got stuck on surge but isn't being at war with the wrong country MORE important?

Obama we love you .
We were proud each time we saw you on your 8 day journey and knew the World would see what we have known for a long time that you will be a great leader .
Instead of starting wars you will be mending fences ,
negotiate with other countrys for the good of all people .
We are behind you all the way with Hope,Change We Can Believe in ,Yes We Can AND WE WILL WIN .

This country is in shambles with 8 years of the " Mc Bush McCheney MAKE MORE WAR machines the list goes on for this gang of
Haliburton ,Oil crooks IMPEACH is the solution .

How can people not see what these McBush crooks have done to sink this Country ??? Is it you need to see 4,500 body bags and a visit to some Veterans Hospital s before you wake up and see McWar as the next McBush war monger machine.

I want to ask Wolf and CNN: What do you really mean when you keep repeating that Senator Obama "appears to be presumptuous by going to the Mid-east and Europe"? Didn't John McCain go to the same places and Canada, Mexico and Colombia? Why was't he "presumptuous"? I can only conclude that what you really mean is that the African American candidate was "uppity", where in the White candidate was just being a presidential candidate. You and your network just cannot believe that a black man can be intelligent enough or popular enough to become president. You need to stop housing your bias in long words and just call Obama uppity. It's what you mean any way.

Too bad that McCain whines about a lack of media coverage, yet failed to accept an invitation to speak at the UNITY journalism convention. You don' t get to have it both ways: complain about a lack of attention and spend your weekend having a barbecue and resting at home. Senator, if you want coverage, then you must get out and do something other than invoke the holiness of the surge and bash Obama.

Obama's appearance at the convention has been incredible. Even after a week of non-stop meetings and travel, in which he represented the US in a respectful, dignified manner, Obama appeared at the convention. He is poised, informative, direct and honest in answering questions from the hosts and from the journalists.

I am proud of Obama and very proud of the way he has represented all of this during the past week. What a refreshing change from the current administration which used a speech in Israel to bash Obama or gives out back rubs to foreign heads of state. We need some diplomacy and dignity.

Boy I can't wait I will be trilled to hear about the surge again and again and again and again. Lets ask McSenile about all of his misstatements he has been making or the fact that he insisted that Obama make the trip he did last week, then criticized him and has all but called him a trader.
Oh! I know lets take it easy on the old man.I wish you would ask McSenile why he voted for this senseless war in the first place and did not stand up with the general that called for more boots on the ground in the start. Did Saddam Hussein own more that eight houses like the McSeniles do????? Connie from Indiana

McCain 1000 more years in Iraq!
His answer to a caller on Wolf Blitzer, to define peace, can only lead to 1000 more years.
First, he will not admit the Invasion was a mistake. He says it was not done right. (Shock and Awe was not enough?)
This post might be the first time you hear a future major headline.
"McCain Calls for Splurge 2!"
To fulfill his goals for 'victory' it is going to take about 100 more 'Surges'.
The Utopia he proposed on Blitzer will require the continuation of the Police State until the next generation grows up under his imposed will.
(American style democracy, all factions living in peace and harmony, no influence from Iran, a just legal system, prosperity for all Iraqis) <<<< Can he do it? No he can NOT!

Forgot one statement. Why would John McCain want to waste his time attending that "UNITY O8" Jourtnalist f function in chicago for journalist of color. 98% of the blacks will vote for Obama because of him being black. Heck if they screwed Hillary and Bill Clinton for him after him being the best president for black people in america and showed no loyalty because Obama is black. John don't waste your time. Color is the only thing that matters to the blacks. They don't have enough of a population to carry any significance in the General anyway.

The press is too lenient to Sen. McCain, McBush!!

McCain, really McSAME, is a hypocritical, old, senile, FLIP-FLOPPING jerk:

- He's jealous of Sen. Obama: he is a boring constipated communicator with no intelligence or charismatic appeal. His trips abroad to Canada, Columbia, Mexico drew little from the press. That's why he's choking about Barrack's success.

- McCain, McBush, McSame is the one who has CHANGED HIS POSITIONS on almost every IMPORTANT issue (Bush's tax cuts, and now his 100-years-in-Iran lunacy, immigration, economy-is-not-my-strong-suit, etc...)

- McCain, McSenile is an old relic that belongs to a museum. America cannot afford such a used up jerk, snake-like whistling speaker, and automaton-arms-like clown to project the image of our country in front of the world for four year!! (he's too old and won't last more than that).

- McDirty-joke is UNRESPECTFUL to women (he is attributed dirty joke telling how women like being raped by gorillas).

- This man graduated last at the naval academic (proving his lack of intelligence) and only got where he is from his father's nepotism, and marrying into money as a common gold-digger!

Obama is risky/. I am scared of him and his policies. I think that he is an opportunist as well as a big big ego. He could be dangerous to our country.

What was the reason for the German speech? Was it to lower gas prices? Was it to sell more US products to Europe? Was it to get the Germans a VISA to come to the US and spend money? What was the purpose of this speech.

McCain is not risky. He will support our values and he will support our way of life. He will defend the US of A. McCain will not let Iran develop nuclear weapons. He will win the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan and do it before his first term is up.

If Obama wants the war over, how come he hasn't introduced legislation in the Democratic Congress. Now that is a test if you ask me.

"How can we possibly find honor in using the fate of our servicemen to score political advantage in Washington? There is no pride to be had in such efforts. We are at war, a hard and challenging war, and we do no service for the best of us-those who fight and risk all on our behalf-by playing politics with their service."

In June, McCain apologized for using the image of Gen. David Petraeus in a political mailer, saying that politicization of the military would "not happen again" in his campaign.

Authored by John McCain---how ironic!

I bet Obama gets a lot better treatment at cnn then McCain will. Why do you think cnn has been running that crap "BLACK IN AMERICA" over and over. They have been trying to show how we the whites have mistreated the poor "BLACK" folk and that we should repent , face the "WHITE GUILT" that apparently the liberals and the liberal media have an elect this man because of his color regardless of the facts that he has no real qualifications and is well documented by his wife and friends and himself that he is anti- american.I love himtelling the Germans and the french , now is our time. I don't know about the rest of america but I think I will cast my vote for who I want. Not who the liberal europeans want.

CNN: "McCain camp rips Obama for cutting troop visit"

Very pathetic of McCain and his camp to criticize Obama for not visiting troops, while overseas, when it was the Pentagon that raised "concerns".

As a matter of fact, McCain would have criticized anyway. If Obama would have visited the troops in Germany, McCain would have argued that he was using the troops for political gain (as the trip to Europe was a political trip). If Obama would have cancelled (as he did) to avoid that perception, then you see their comments now.

Can you believe a politician complaining that the opponent did not visit more people while on a campaign trip? Not only was the pentagon that show "concerns", but it is also highly inappropriate of McCain to criticize Obama on this and it shows the level of desperation, emptiness and lack of message and solutions of McCain.
