The longer this goes on, the more it becomes crystal clear that John McCain knows very little about anything, surrounds himself with people that are either evil or incompetent, if not both, and McCain has personal holes that indicate he'll never be any more on top of issues than he is now (ie limited intellect, out of date and ineffective policies, and a dangerous demeanor).

If McCain truly wanted to curtail the Economy, he would not be accepting Social Security...if he was a true American, and thought about the conditions of our Economy. This letter is for Sen Obama. I was a Canadian who joined the US army and spent 6 yrs during Vietnam. My point is that since we have a problem with our shortage of enlistments why dont we put our ellegal young men into the army teach them english and if they serve 3yrs with honorable discharge, then they would be given cittizennship. For most of them the pay would be better and also their living conditions ,would be an improvement..

i am getting so sick of the media. The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University, which has been studying the media 20 years, has now released a study that shows 72% of the opinions expressed on news networks about Obama were negative and 28% positive. For McCain the figures were 57% and 43%. How about you guys start covering obama with more fairness in respect to him, that made me sick looking at that study.

Econonomy is number one issue that touch all lives, we need the candidate to focus more on the economy and not so much about who is more experienced. My observation so far is that the generally acclaimed experienced candidate lack originality in proposing solution to the economic hardship; but highly glutonised in flunting how many years he has been in the senate. It took a reip to the grocery store with a working Mom for McCain to get a grasp on the cost to the consumer. But at least he was not in awe by the bar reader.

McCain's got a long ways to go to sell anything to the American people. Trickle down economics a bust, has been for 30 years. Cutting taxes so the wealth can reinvest their money is a bust, first if they reinvested it was not here, but they did get wealthier. Isn't everyone champing a the bit to be able and dump the money being wasted in Social Security in the stock market so they can make some real money. A 128 billion surplus into a 486 billion defiect, sounds like we need more tax cuts for the top 3%.

Why doesn't anyone call out McCain advisor Carly Fiorina for selling computers to Iran when she was head of Hewlett Packard. It's also funny that McCain picks her as an advisor, the CEO that was ousted by Hewlett Packard because of her poor performance. As soon as she left the company started posting profits once again and has turned around. Leave it up to McCain to pick a horrible CEO for advise.

This blog is usually reserved for comments, however i have a question that i think needs answering, what exactly are these so-called "values" some people have that they say are not reflected in Mr. Obama's candidacy for President? I am not surprised at the obvious double standard being held toward Obama but i really would like an intelligent answer to this question (if one exists), my instincts tell me that he is deemed unqualified because he has african blood in his viens and it has nothing to do with "values" at all. Here's what I do know... Business that get tax breaks and other incentives do not have the trickle down effect. Greed is a pervasive attitude in our society and it's all about the bottom line. It is out of touch for the McCain camp to think that because businesses will do well, the workers will also do well .... NOT !!!!! It's "every man for himself" mentality and those of us bearing the brunt of paying taxes so big Corporations can get tax breaks are fed up with this scenario and please tell those darn pundits to shut up... speaking on behalf of the American people as if they know what it's like. As a single mother raising two kids alone I will benefit far greater by tax credits or tax reduction as THAT puts immediate food in my kids' mouths.

Will someone in Senator McCain's camp please tell us "average" everyday Americans how his plan will help us? I'm talking about those that may rent vs own homes, don't play the stock market or have capital gains. How will his economic plan (which mirrors that of the current administration quite a bit) will help us? I'm for free market, but unregulated free market (thanks Phil Gramm) has gotten us in this mess (except for the CEO's who make money even though their company goes under). He helped push the bill that allowed the housing mareket to make suspect loans (unregulated). he helped push the bill that allowed the Enron loophole. He also thinks we are "whining". McCain has used this man for his economic policies. Even though he has resigned from the campaign, I bet he still is driving McCain's policy in the background.

Obama getting more coverage than McCain is like Brad-Angelina getting more coverage than a B-list celebrity couple. Brad-Angelina or other A-list celebrity couples get more coverage because the public is more interested in them, period. Brad-Angelia, for example, is an attractive couple, they promote just causes, they are smart, and they symbolize great best qualities. Obama is head and shoulders above McCain for many of these same reasons.

McCain-supporters and Obama-haters need to face a basic fact in life. People simply like Obama more and they have more interest in him because of who he is v. McCain. I do not buy into this old Demo-Primary, HRC-, reverse psycology campaign tactic, where you take Obama's outstanding qualities (that which you cannot compete and that which makes him a true leader), and you try to turn it against him in an effort to level the playing field. Nice try, but it does not work

Economic issues are, and should be, at the heart of this election. Speaking of judgement and it's effect on our economy, who has consistently voted against the war?
Had we heeded the words of Obama before the invasion began, citing the lack of evidence of WMD's, the lack of credible evidence linking Hussein to Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. He recognized then as now, the real enemy is in Afghanistan...never was anywhere else. Perhaps we wouldn't be where we are today. He proposes that the Iraqi's make progress so that we can get out and stop this drain on our economy and our citizenry.
McClueless would have us all continue down this road to economic disaster pursuing war, paying $5. a gallon for gas and destroying our environment in the process.

McCain said to lift ban on offshore drilling, president bush fallowed suit and lifted the executive ban. Since that date the fallowing has happened.
1. price of gas is down
2. price of decile is down
3. price of heating oil is down
