Sadly, for America, we have lowered our standards so much that we view celebrities, with nothing more to offer than the simple fact of their celebrity, as leaders. Mr. Obama is nothing more than an empty suit, masquerading as a celebrity, masquerading as a politician, masquerading as a potential leader. There is absolutely no substance to Mr. Obama and his pop-culture popularity is hardly enough to qualify him for the most important job in the world.

I am so tired of Republicans attacking americans that don't like millionaires, huge deficits and gov't growth. How can they label the left as big gov't when the Republicans have been the ones to grow the spending and departments>

McCain's lack of self control and his inability to control his rage has been useful as a means to intimidate any body who didn't agree with him. The ANGRY ONE believes he is the one with all the answers and I understand some of his colleagues have nicknamed him MADDOG.
I think John McCain is going to be one surprised dude when he learns that Obama will bite back!

From another perspective, McCain, with this add, leaves himself open to the charge of demeaning these two women and sexist discrimination on his part.

McCain may have a point about Obama's empty rhetoric and inexperience. I just feel like this is an insulting desperate attempt to make a point. It may be "funny" to McCain and his staff but I'm a real person with real problems I'd like to have solved.

And what about charges against Sen. Ted Stevens for unreported gifts. Why isn't Obama being prosecuted on the same charges after his underhanded real estate dealings with Rezko and the fact that Rezko personally paid for the fence around the Obama mansion? Why is Obama above the law and political scrutiny? Is the press afraid that Obama will play the race card on them?

Generally you do not WIN elections by trashing/bashing/ hating/ ridiculing/ attacking/mocking/insulting and swiftboating YOUR BEST CANDIDATE.... and installing a pompous, self-impressed, cocky, smug, elitist with no merits, experience or track record.

This same type of tactics have been purt forth by the Republican Party for decadeds. And the sad part is that it appears to appeal to a baser side of some of us. In particular the ones that approve of this sort of nonsense. That in itself is pathetic. And unless we send a message that this kind of campaigning will not be tolerated, we will continue to be bombarded with meaningless ads like this one that in no way addresses the issues facing this country today. And then to hear McCain say he was proud of that ad, sickened me. And this is the guy people want to place their faith in. Someone who uses weasel tactics like this??

If he gets elected, then we'll deserve everything that panderer is going to do to us, just like GW.

I don't want to hear about what Obama ate for lunch. I want to hear about what the man I plan to vote for plans to do for me. If this is all McCain has then he will lose my vote.

It's been more than 30 years since I contributed to any political campaign, and I've concluded that defeating the Republicans in November is the single most important thing our nation can do - and if we fail to throw the bastards out this time, we will not be a nation long enough to have another chance.
