Obama keeps talking about change. What does "change" mean? He does not answer that question. Obama's whole thing is delivering speeches that others have wrote.

why should he have new ideas. unlike sen obama mccain as outlined his issues and is spending his time explaining how he will impliment them and what benifits the country will derive from them. sen. obama spends his time whining and telling us the obvious about the shape the country is in.(like we don't know were all stupid i quess) and telling us we must move forward. and how things in a perfect world would be.unfortunately the reality is the country is almost broke and spending spending your way out of the problem is not an option.obama as been campaigning for over a year now is programs should all be out by now however he keeps flip floping so they are not stable just like him. maybe thats why he as trouble beating a tired old man bucking almost insurmountable odds

I have been so impressed with the way Barak Obama and John McCain have been running their campaigns so far. Although disagreeing on different issues, they both have been fair and even complimentary to one another. It's been such a relief!

I am disappointed and so "turned off" that negative ads are now appearing.Why does it have to get ugly? I feel that if a candidate cannot stand on his/her own merits without belittling the other, I am not so sure I want to vote for either!

The only strategy Obama can use to respond to McCain's argument of riskiness is to choose a running mate who has experience and well seasoned and honestly I do not see anybody far much better that Hillary Clinton. For Obama to look at military credentials for a running mate against McCain is just to loose the election. If I was his advisor I will tell him to choose right now than latter because what McCain is waiting is to see who he chooses and honestly there is no other woman out there McCain can choose as a running mate better than Hillary. Hear me. !!

It's beyond my comprehension that anyone can believe that Obama would be anywhere near as risky a choice for President than McCain. Here's an old school poitician (McCain) that has been a faithful follower and advisor to Bush, who is 100% in bed with Bush's political ideas that have gotten us into this countries worse mess in history... versus a candidate (Obama) with fresh new ideas and an agenda of desparately needed political change that even the leaders in other countries of the world approve of and want to work with.

It should be obvious that the greatest risk would be voting for McCain as President...LET'S NOT RISK IT!! VOTE OBAMA!!!!

The McCain ad grouping Barack Obama with Paris Hilton missed the boat. It is McCain who fits in with the Hollywood types e,g, his affair with his now wife and her drug problem. If Obama had a past like that you may be sure the McCain group would have exploited it . Would American voters rather vote for a man with a past like McCain's or a clean-cut man such as Obama. McCain is so busy twisting the truth in his speeches. I have heard him repeat so many times untruths that I cannot understand why he isn't blushing or snickering. Scary. CNN never posts my contributions so I don;t expect to see this.

Obama will end the war and bring the troups home, McCain first said 100 years and now he is following Obama- the repubs are not to be trusted this time around, not this year.

End the war, save the economy. Exxon Mobil $1,500 profit per second and the people will not see a penny of that, but when the big companies are about to go under, the people pay to keep them running- that is the repubs and McCain policy of the same.

Mr. McCain may not have any new ideas that Barack likes, but he is willing to work within the only system we have along with his opponents to solve problems. He has a proven track record by co-sponsoring many bills with Democrats. What has Barack done? Barack said in Hawaii at a conference of Native American Cultures his first day back from his rock tour that America needs to make reparations to "people of color for its tragic treatment of them in its sad past". Why has CNN not run this story. I suspect that CNN like other major Networks favors Barack and would rather not show his true socialist beliefs for fear of rejection. CNN knows what reparations would mean.

I would also like to know why nothing has been Sen. John Edwards' escapades this past week in the posh Beverly Hills hotel room with his mistress and illegitimate infant? Hmmm more favoratism perhaps?

PerhapsWASHINGTON (CNN) - Congress can require White House aides to testify under subpoena, despite Bush administration claims of immunity, a U.S. District Court ruled Thursday.

Former White House Counsel Harriet Miers is not immune from congressional subpoenas, a judge ruled Thursday.

The House Judiciary Committee has been seeking to force former White House Counsel Harriet Miers to testify before Congress. The White House has been resisting, claiming she cannot be compelled.

But the White House position "is without any support in case law," Judge John D. Bates wrote in a 93-page opinion released Thursday.

He said the notion that "Miers is absolutely immune from compelled congressional process" is "unprecedented."

White House press secretary Dana Perino said the administration is reviewing the ruling.

If John McCain is so experienced and has all the answers, then why is he whining like a baby about press coverage and then playing smear tactics on a third grader playbook:

1. Calling him names like elitist( raised on food stamps, can't bowl),
2. Non-American( didn't wear a flag and once),
3. Uunpatriotic ( didn't put his hand on his heart during the national anthem, nobody usually does!! is usually reserved for the flag salute),
4. The old "tax and spend liberal" (unlike the reduced tax for the rich and spend even more Republicans, $9 trillion in debt),
5. Obama just says words !! (problem is that words all makes sense, unlike the words that came out of George W. Bush's mouth over the last seven years)
John McCain whatever happened to your straight talk express, you used to actually have some integrity, and like a typical bully Republican with no real answers on what you can do to help this country.

Sure, McCain's spoken out against the Bush administration in the past. But since this campaign started, he's reversed himself on virtually all of those issues and is now in lockstep with Bush.

Obama has a legitimate point when he says:

"When we are in such dire straits economically, when our foreign policy has gotten so messed up, what's the bigger risk: choosing change, or choosing to do the same things that got us into this mess in the first place?"

The definition of insanity according to Einstein: "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

McCain is asking us to be insane.

John McCain complained about Obama not going overseas and because Obama got more attention from his visit he complained. This ad reeks of jealousy and his claim that Obama gets more media time is true. However, the reason Obama gets more attention is because he is scrutinized more than McCain. McCain is an adulterer, but that is never mentioned. He did give up information when he was a POW, however I do not hold this against him because no one knows how they would react under those circumstances. CNN all of your coverage concerning McCain is mostly favorable. I have always lived which other nationalities all my life, but your reporting looks like because Obama is African-American he has to work harder than McCain.

If I were John McCain, I would fire my political advisors and public relations staff immediately. His ad depicting Obama as a SUPERSTAR is hypocritical at best. As an everyday shoe, McCain walks wears shoes that cost the equivalent of some Americans monthly rental payment. Who is really living the life of a SUPERSTAR? Obama appears in public with clothes that look like they were purchased off the rack of the Men's Warehouse. No offense against Obama, but honestly look at the styles of the two men.
