Half of the country has already discovered that Obama is a big goof that has to read every word. Now the rest of the country has to wake up. David Axelrod created a movie star with no substance. Obama is more like Bush, arrogant and knows nothing.

I am already tired of McCain's sarcastic, negative ads. I wanted to vote for him in 2000, but no more. He refuses to advertise what he stands for.

John McCain has stooped to a disappointing level with his attacks on Barack Obama this week. Must he resort to dirty politics? I thought he was better than that. Anyone who believes this BS is a very vulnerable and easily manipulated (not to mention unthinking) individual. It resonates of desperation on McCain's part...you can't beat him on the issues so you resort to tacky and extremely distasteful antics. Wake up America!!!! Don't let someone of Obama's caliber get away when we need him the most. He will bring good, solid leadership to our country and regain the respect of the world for the Good Ole USofA.....

Obama, his dirty campaign, his nasty supporters and AAs all banked on the success of the same hateful strategy: bash, trash, ridicule, insult and debase HRC out of the running by any means necessary.

This election year the only thing needed was being the democrat on the ticket in NOV- they all figured the Nation was in such a bad way, and the republican brand SO out of favor, a democratic win so inevitable- that ANY democrat- even the least qualified one could pull a win off.

Once Obama was the last democrat left standing... his path to the white house was ensured- or so the thinking went.

So hate, race-baiting, vulgarity and insults were freely utilized to that end.

They did not count on MORE than half of the party refusing to go along with a fixed primary. They did not figure half the party would forfeit ONE election rather than subvert democracy itself.

Now see us defend the principles of democracy, justice, fair campaigns and the RIGHT to vote.

I hope people are not foolish enough to believe that their city will not be

What McCain knows about "The One” when he doesn't believe in anything. What is McCain faith anyway?

Enough of this bull what about this economy, the high gas prices, the unemployment rate, the lead in toys, the food poisoning, the unjust I have endure for many years. What does McCain bring to the table, nothing but a lot of outrages ads? Enough of this bull, let’s talk about the important things that matter in this election. Every other word that comes out of McCain mouth is Obama. Does McCain knows anything about politic? Or is he the empty headed one.

What about these town hall meetings that McCain conduct. The people that attend just sit there like they are under a spell; what’s up with that?

The republican have been on top far too long and that is why we are in this mess. It’s time to break the barrels and tear down these walls.

I agree with Kongtooth.....Hillary would have had a 20 point lead over McCain by now and would be running away with the election, right to the White House!

As it is......McCain will continue to close the gap with empty suit, socialist, inexperienced Obama.....and then take the lead, all the way to the White House.

And Obama will have to go back to the South Side of Chicago.

I can't believe the DNC was stupid enough to hand the nomination to Obama on a silver platter! That, after Hillary repeatedly said...."Look for the candidate that is most electable!" They sure didn't listen.....they just had their own agenda, win or lose....and they WILL lose with the loser they chose!

If not Hillary, then McCain!

I don't recognize these polls as valid. I don't know the percentage of voter groups that they're polling and honestly don't care. Perhaps the cable commentaries require polls but, I don't. The only poll that counts is on election day. For those of you reading this, please make sure you can vote. Each state has their own rules for voting and believe it; whether your democrat or repubilcan, the voting rolls will be reviewed and could affect you.

Obama contiunes to show an elitist attitude wherever he goes. Unfortunately for him, all Americans have a great deal of pride. This equation will never work out... We don't want anyone, especially a presidential hopeful, looking down their nose at us. McCain on the other hand has taken a humble approach to his campaign and he WILL capitalize on the Democratic party's mistake.

As a registered Republican, I came into this year with the intentions of voting for a Democrat. Not one Democrat (I attended a Clinton rally and an Obama rally - both in State College, PA) has given me any sort of comfort on many seperate issues. It's like they're just trying to hit the right key. They're only trying to get elected. Puppets of MoveOn.org. To make a long argument short; they're plans are unrealistic.

It's too bad that there isn't a true stand-out candidate of any age, race, gender, or party out there somewhere.... some day.... some day....

Tired of people saying McCain will be a continuation of Buh. That is far from the truth as it can considering McCain is the one Senator that has always gone against Bush on lots of big issues. You guys just keep spewing the same things you are told to say....

How can someone vote for a guy that wants to tax us more, increase the size of the govt. Socialize everything, end fair markets, etc. The second coming who's so full of himself that one days he's going to fly. Also, just because he's good for France doesn't mean he's good for US. Wake up people.

Despite what all of the Obama "believers" want to believe, there are significant number of Americans (apparently 44%) that prefer John McCain. I have nothing against Senator Obama I just don't think he has the leadership experience nor do I agree with his policies. I thought that was what America stood for - the right to express your opinion and have a "different" opinion. In my humble opinion, the Obama Minions who think the world will come to an end if everyone doesn't agree with them are just flat out wrong and they do no service to their candidate.

McCain will need a lot of help. He's old and intolerant and doesn't have the patience to do what a president needs to do. You'll see, when he goes overseas, just like George Bush, no one will care.

Americans will wake up when he sends their boys to war. This man is a maniacal panderer who doesn't have the tolerance or the strength quite frankly to run the country.

To all my puma friends,
no matter how the fall election turns out (and I pray Senator Obama is the winner), Senator Clinton will not be the next President.
So, if you want to shoot yourself in the foot, go right ahead. But in looking closely at some numbers, the ONLY reason Obama isn't further ahead is because Dems haven't totally jumped on board vis a vis the Kerry election. Every other demographic studied shows Obama up. The exception is Dems.
As soon as you come to your senses, Obama will win this thing and restore our dignity in the world.
Or, you can have all of what Mccain is offering. Which so far this week, is just to talk about Obama. So, if that's the case, why not just vote for Obama anyway? Think about it people.

McCrank cannot even get 300 people to listen to him talk. I do not believe your poll at all. This guy cannot even find Iraq on a map. Prove the polls!! Who paid for it and what were the questions and who was polled. How about a copy of it CNN or some video of the questions being asked to provide proof of your report or are you just as irresponsible as CBS editing answers. If you cannot prove your claims
with all the resources you have then I am left to believe you are being given talking points from the pentagon just like you were with the generals on the invasion of Iraq.

The polls are useless at this point, and the media knows it. This is nothing more than a rating's ploy and, essentially, an effort to gain the attention of the hardcore, cult-like followers of Hillary Clinton. They claim she'd be ahead by 20 points conveniently forgetting that Hillary Clinton has extremely high negative numbers.

PUMAs should get a life; your current one is tiresome. And, the media should focus on issues not a horse race but, as mentioned, it's all about ratings. If you believe these polls, take a seat in Wolf's Situation Room.

I'm still waiting to get a call from the polls. Why would you believe a poll that calls one thousand people out of hundreds of millions. Give me a break.

But, if they're right and America wants to go from a C student to a D student, go right ahead!

Stupid is as stupid does!

Finally, the cream is rising to the top. I'm glad the American public is waking up and seeing this race for what it is. Obama is the biggest political phony I've ever seen. If this country wants an experienced, intelligent, pragmatic leader to be the White House, they will vote for McCain.

It took him forever to try and answer the question...

McCain's "The One" ad shows the disrepect that McCain has for those Democrats and Republicans of deep religious faith.

We've always known that McCain does not truly know the Lord and therefore has been uncomfortable whenever the subject of his faith comes up.

What we didn't know is that he would be the leader of a flippant group of jesters that think it is in anyway appropriate to parody biblical symbolism for politics. Sorry, John, we don't appreciate your humor and if you TRULY were a devout Christian, you'd have shown some semblance of good judgement.

This is simply incredible.

And another McCain ridicule ad is on the air. And people seem to be buying this!! McCain doesn't seem to be taking the process or the arguments seriously and he's gaining in the polls?!

In the words of a famous character from American cinema: "Inconceivable!!"

Maybe America deserves what it gets. We wanted "Dubbaya" so bad for eight years, and we sure got him. Why do we want McCain after everythign this country has been through?

Why on most every blog today Obama supporters blame Hillary Clinton for everything???I don't get it. Are you that scared of her? Obama continues to plummet in the polls because he refuses to address the half of the democratic party that voted for Clinton. We want her as VP...without her, his unity and change message is crap and he will continue to falter. An Obama/Clinton ticket is a sure win in November.

Like Denny, I would have supported her if she had gotten the nomination but she would not have had a 20 point lead. The Republicans hate her even more than they fear Obama. If you're saying she would have because of the Hillary voters, then shame on you.

Bush attack campaigning, Bush economics, Bush war policies, Bush snubbing your nose at the rest of the world, Bush take care of the rich and stick it to the rest of us, four more years? I can't believe we're going to let this happen. Country wake up! We won't survive.

I don't understand all of McCain's personal attacks and weak over-the-top attempts are smarmy sarcasm. Why doesn't he put out ads talking about his views and politics and what he will do for our country. Instead of all the negative attacks, has he put out one ad that is about actual topics? This is really sad and I hate it!!!

Okay, everyone, vote for McCain since he's so great and Obama is this prima donna elitist. I want Obama to win and he has my vote. But this campaign is turning 2004, vote for the old man because of this or that. And in 2-3 years when things in this country are still the same as they are now (or worse), you can all have buyers remorse like many do now with Bush. Go McCain, we need more of the same from you, great!! (how's that for sarcasm, maybe I should do a commercial)

Okay, so this ad is saying he's the Messiah? What idiots, they're really scaping the bottom of the barrel.

I don't know about you, but there's only one Messiah, and his name is Jesus.

McCain has to convince me that there's only one devil though.

Perhaps McCain doesn't know about the nuclear plants in France that have failed, or the Chernobyl plant. My dad worked at NRC and he was able to read all of the information in the public reading room. Did you know that all of these reports are available in the public reading room in each agency. Perhaps more Americans should read this information, instead of listening to CNN and believing what is being said.

McCain is too old to be Pres. Not only is he ignorant, he is bringing up the race card. O just said "I'm not one of the guys on the bill" - that is not a racial issue. McCain needs to get his facts straight. Oh, I remember, one of you said he forgets what he said the day before. Senility keeps rearing its ugly head.

We need someone to clean up Bush's mess, and it can't be McCain.
Obama help! It is your turn.

OBAMA 2008/2012 - It will take 8 years to clean up this mess.

Also, I am extremely disappointed with CNN's coverage of this election. The only media outlets calling McCain out on his lies and gaffes are the Daily Show and Keith Olberman. In many instances, CNN is only adding fuel to the fire. Elect McCain, America and watch your country continue its steady decline.

You know I'm tired of being considered a racist because I am white and don't support Obama. Personally, I don't care if he was purple with yellow polka dots--it wouldn't matter. I don't support him because of his socialist, left-wing policies. His policies will cost me more in taxes for no extra services for myself or my family.
