Paris Hilton fires back at McCain's "Celeb" ad

CNN

Watch Paris Hilton’s message for McCain

(CNN) - Paris Hilton has fired back in response to presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain's "Celeb" ad comparing the 27-year-old heiress to Barack Obama.

The less-than-two-minute spot was paid for by the comedy video Web site, funnyordie.com. It features Hilton sprawling in a lounge chair in a swimsuit. The socialite mocks McCain's ad, saying, "I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead."

What are Hilton's thoughts on energy policy? She says her position is a "hybrid" of Obama and McCain's. "Energy crisis solved," the heiress declares.

Hilton, who's built a career out of being a celebrity, also reveals her pick for vice president and plans while in office. "I'm thinking Rihanna. I'll see you at the White House. Oh, and I might paint it pink. I hope that's cool with you guys," she says.

"I'm Paris Hilton and I approve this message because I think it's totally hot."

The McCain camp responded to Hilton's ad Tuesday. "It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain's 'all of the above' approach to America's energy crisis – including both alternatives and drilling. Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan," says McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.

John Mcains, AND by extension Paris' plan, if they intend to connect themsleves with it, still is clogged up by the idea that the oil industry has any intention whatsoever of regulating itself or being regulated, MUCH LESS Strictly regulated.

As an Obama supporter, I hope McCain continues his juvenile acts. I hope his campaign remains in blissful ignorance. It will only serve to shore up more support for Obama. At a time when our country is facing its most toughest times, McCain thinks that jokes are the way to persuade Americans that he is the best candidate to lead our country.

Keep the juvenile attacks coming, McCain. I'll make my reservations to be in D.C. for Obama's inauguration.

    You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right!!!!!!!!!!!

McCAIN wouldn't know a good debate if it jumped up & bit him on his a–!!! He is sooooooooo incompetent when it comes to making a speech.

I've had training as a military officer & he really should be better at this!!!

Not to mention he's been in Washington pretending to care about the average American FOREVER (longer than most of our fellow military heroes who died in IRAQ had here on this earth, before they were killed in McCAIN & BUSH'S Senseless WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

I just can't stomach another 4 years of a President who blunders every time he speaks & makes a fool of himself smirking & grinning like a monkey.

Can we PLEASE elect an intelligent, well-spoken representative of all Americans instead of these ultra-rich idiots who must have BOUGHT THEIR COLLEGE DEGREES from a STREET PEDDLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Proud Female Veteran for OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Kathy, for being an informed voter. Domestic drilling is not the answer. It would do nothing to bring down prices. We need to get away from oil by pumping big money into development and production of plug-in hybrid vehicles (and make them affordable). Currently, McCain and Bush claim they are for alternative energy and fuel-efficient vehicles, but it's just lip service. They will not put their money where their mouths are. They just hand it over to Big Oil.

WAKE UP AND VOTE OBAMA BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

The has-been Hilton's didn't have a word to say when obama announced to the entire world that his daughters didn't like paris hilton or b.spears. Paris, if you and your mother want to see totally worthless.....then both need to look in the mirror.

Paris has the guts to speak up to the McCain's camp. I respect her. She has more brain than alot of McCain people. Her energy plan is closer to that of Obama and it is sensible, unlike that of McCain's. McCain's straight talk express must have all the wheels twisted – now McCain has offered his wife to be the"Miss Buffalo Chip", to make her a celebrity?

I'm not a Paris Hilton fan but she sounded a lot more Presidential than John McCain.

Did you listen to McCain yesterday? How many mistakes does this man make in the average day?

Drill now, right away, immediately and today all in the same sentence by McCain.

"that swhat mccain gets for playing the race card"

    --

    Get your FACTS straight.

Obama is the ONLY one that has played the RACE card in this election.

Obama played it against Hillary 4 or was it 5 times

    Obama played it in Germany.

And Obama contiues to play it against McCain.

The ad that McCain did with Paris, Spears, and Obama was absolutely hilarious. The bottom line is people are treating Obama as a superstar and he IS NOT. Obama does not have the experience to run this country and hey….your taxes will go up. I live in a state that has a Democrat Governor and we are hurting and what does the Governor do…..increased our state tax. This ad just spelled out the truth and unfortunately with the intelligence of Americans you have to do it in an ad like this to get the true message across. I would NEVER consider Paris a superstar. She is a spoiled little rich kid that wants attention. Hey this made her look better than her visit to jail. Her ad was really stupid and to bring up McCain being old is such a ridiculous notion. President Reagan was 70 years old and served two terms and did an awesome job. People get over it.

The ad has shown all that Mccain can offer. He has NOTHING more to offer. Someone should let Mccain know that Obama is not a celebrity like paris or britney, but a presidential candidate of the most populous Nation in the world. The real issue is that mccain does not possess the charisma of a leader to lead a great country like America and he is jealous of that. America CANNOT be headed by any president who does not possess leadership charisma, strong and vibrant, determination, zeal and courage and above all the ability to co-ordinate not only the citizen of the great country but also other nations of the world. this Obama had and more.we want a president who will bring America back to it's revere position which Obama's tour gave us a glimse of.
