Paris Hilton fires back at McCain's "Celeb" ad

CNN

Watch Paris Hilton’s message for McCain

(CNN) - Paris Hilton has fired back in response to presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain's "Celeb" ad comparing the 27-year-old heiress to Barack Obama.

The less-than-two-minute spot was paid for by the comedy video Web site, funnyordie.com. It features Hilton sprawling in a lounge chair in a swimsuit. The socialite mocks McCain's ad, saying, "I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead."

What are Hilton's thoughts on energy policy? She says her position is a "hybrid" of Obama and McCain's. "Energy crisis solved," the heiress declares.

Hilton, who's built a career out of being a celebrity, also reveals her pick for vice president and plans while in office. "I'm thinking Rihanna. I'll see you at the White House. Oh, and I might paint it pink. I hope that's cool with you guys," she says.

"I'm Paris Hilton and I approve this message because I think it's totally hot."

The McCain camp responded to Hilton's ad Tuesday. "It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain's 'all of the above' approach to America's energy crisis – including both alternatives and drilling. Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan," says McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.

All this silliness are so rediculous. Why are we entertaining or even pay attention to any of this? Our country is now in chaos, and requires a serious leadership in the whitehouse, and in congress. As americans, we better look deeply and examine these candidates., otherwise, it is only us to blame if we ever picked the wrong one. We should never go with our emotion, but with our good judgement.

When a vapid publicity hound like Paris Hilton becomes the hero for the liberals and a poster girl for the Progressives, it shows how bankrupt we have become as a society. PATHETIC!

Paris actually entertained us for the 1st time in our life. Who would have thought this chick had it in her.......America is in a dire need when the likes of Paris can make more sense than 'experienced' Republican crypt keeper.

    McCain lame video = 200K

Paris response = 2 million in less than 24 hrs!

The ability of both McCain and his "brainy "advisers to come up with childish, irrelevant comments is simply mindboggling.

I, once, used to admire McCain, now I really feel sorry for him....

President Bush was not aware that gasoline was headed to $4.00 per gallon.

Senator McCain was not computer literate... didn't bother to use email or the internet.

The McCain campaign is evidently unaware of the difference that simple (though inconvenient) steps can help increase care mileage.

Some of these guys are out of touch. They have had people do everything for them in life and they are just not connected to what real life is for most of us.

They don't fill up they car with gas. Someone does it for them (and pays). They don't sent email. Someone does it for them. They might not even know how to check the air in a car tire or know what a tune-up is... or costs.

    Senator Obama does.

The McCain camp just doesn't get it! Their ad was rude, crude and uncalled for...not at all about important issues. Paris Hilton, for me and mine, is "like, nowhere". But, I admit, her spoof is funny.

Her ad was great and it showed just how out of touch McCain and the republicans are concerning the real issues facing the US. It should be clear to any person who has half a brain that the way out of our problems is to vote only DEMOCRATS.

The McCain Camp apparently didn't watch this response from Paris Hilton as it was pretty obvious to all but the moronic that she was not being complimentary to him, referring to him as a wrinkly white guy who's "the oldest celebrity in the world, like super-old, old enough to remember when dancing was a sin and beer was served in a bucket".

I guess you can give them credit for making lemonade out of lemons, but that's about all for which I'll give them credit.

The difference between Paris and John McCain is that she did not approve a bogus war. Remember there is good experience and there is bad experience I do think she has more judgment than he. I think she is ready to lead.
