Sen. Clinton waved at supporters gathered in early June as she announced the suspension of her White House bid.

(CNN) – A grassroots organization of Hillary Clinton supporters has announced plans to march in Denver on the same day the New York senator is set to address her party’s faithful during the Democratic convention there.

The march will take place on August 26 and is being organized by 18 Million Voices Rise Hillary Rise. The march will be accompanied by a festival in downtown Denver and additional coordinated marches across the country on the same day.

Clinton, who garnered approximately 18 million votes in the long Democratic primary fight, is scheduled to speak at the convention on the 88th anniversary of the date American women were granted the right to vote.

Since Clinton announced the formal suspension of her presidential campaign, the Obama campaign has gone to great lengths to promote party unity. Clinton and Obama appeared together at a campaign event in Unity, New Hampshire; the Obama campaign recently announced that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson will be holding two fund-raising events to help retire Clinton’s campaign debt; and Clinton is scheduled to campaign on Obama’s behalf in key states.

Susan   August 6th, 2008 5:53 pm ET

They can go to Denver but can't help to retire her debt with $5.00? Lord, these people are so tiring. Hillary would much rather her debt be paid off!

smokesignals   August 6th, 2008 5:52 pm ET

If Hillary knew about this, and I'm sure she did, she should have already stepped forward with a statement and put the brakes on this action. Guess that tells us what she really is about. Power, power, power. What a shame.

Pathetic   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

The Clintons are old news. Even more pathetic are the Hillary supporters that will vote for McSame to try and make Obama lose so she can run in 4 years. The Clintons know that Hillary won't be in the game in 8 years. Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic. Get over it....move on. You really want McSame? Nope, not me. Sick of the stupid war...sick of the economic conditions left by Bush. McCain will be useless. Wake up...do something constructive.

Chickens coming home to roost   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

Obama disgraced the party by stealing the nomination.

Hillary came out the legend.

Hate will come back to bite you.

Hillary was called the B word and the Cun* word, and ridiculed and belittled.

Rev Wright and Father Pfleger: That is just as nasty and as unacceptable in a democracy as the N word. Your hatred disguised as religion damaged your own chosen ONE.

How does CNN determine who gets posted?   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

Why won't they retire her debt?

Joseph, Los Angeles California   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

When are these people going to get over being angry? We need a Democrat in the White House and you will all ruin everything just because you're mad.

The war will continue and our families will continue to be killed.
The lies from a republican administration will continue.
The Supreme Court will become ultra-conservative for a bejillion years
Women's right to chose will lose that right.
Equal right for gays, minorities, woman will go bye-bye.
Our respect around the world will continue to deminish.
I can go on and on...

After the Clinton supporters get McCain into the White House, by 2012 this country will be in such a mess I can't see why Hillary would want the mess he is going to leave the next President with. Things are bad enough now. If you allow the Bush administration to continue for four more years, we will all be miserable; Thanks to you all.

This is so sad... How do you expect anybody to unite with such a movement of this kind. Hatred and anger never accomplishes anything.

Robert   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

Leave it to the ignorant democrats to throw away a gimme election.

Mister D   August 6th, 2008 5:50 pm ET

For gosh sake, enough already!

Those of you who are still nursing your hurt egos because of Obama's victory, are you that blind that you cannot see you are NOT supporting Hillary but McCain and working against everything Hillary stood for? Rush Limbaugh is licking his chops at this kind of foolishness and you are standing with him and the Republicans.

Hillary has eloquently asked you to look beyond personal politics and see the importance of defeating McCain in the fall. Please, please, please listen to her.

ben   August 6th, 2008 5:49 pm ET

Is this woman still fighting? If she is, it is not for Obama. If these women voters of both parties gather together to show immense strength, it could possibly turn the national convention into a nightmare. At least one third of her votes came from REPUBLICAN women voters. If she didn't win the nomination, they were going to vote for McCain. . Maybe that is why it took so long to allow them to vote.

Out of those 18 million people who claim to support her cant come up with 2 dollars a piece to help her out her debt. Oh i see half were republicans.......

Joe Kiloz   August 6th, 2008 5:47 pm ET

Mr. Obama, I would reconsider an outdoor acceptance speech when you have so many disaffected within your own party. Some are showing utter distaste for you and or some of your policies or readjustments. I would not be at all surprised to see some violence, heckling and otherwise distasteful moments for you.
There is nothing wrong with speaking to your supporters in a controlled indoor arena. Good luck to you.

Huh?   August 6th, 2008 5:46 pm ET

Good lord people, grow up and give it up. She lost. The immaturity of these people is just astounding. Time for a serious reality check.

We watched in horror   August 6th, 2008 5:46 pm ET

I never believed the hype of hope

nor the hype of the supposed ANTI- Hillary hate.

It filled the blogs JUST to create the illusion that it existed... so that she might suffer from the perception and Obama might benefit from the perception.

Doc   August 6th, 2008 5:46 pm ET

The only thing i can think of here is were are they as Hillary is trying to persuade Barack to help her pay down that debt. The nonsense this game-playing political juggernaut would have us believe. It makes no sense what so ever. The day these people pay off her debt is the day i will take them serious other than that, CNN really needs to think about whether they should continue reporting on them.

Silence Dogood   August 6th, 2008 5:45 pm ET

Folks, read some history. We've done this before. 1968 convention – riots in the street when the DNC ignored many of its members. They handed it to Richard Nixon as a result. And the front runner was farther ahead than Empty Suit is now. Will the DNC learn its lesson this time?

Obama is not anti-war – of the two wars and many military operations he wants to pull most troops from one and send them to another.

I may protest a 2 party system that gave us McWar and Empty-Suit, by voting for a third party.

There are still a lot of liberals out there who will not be bullied by name calling, hate, and vapid cult mentality.

Considering the rabid Hillary supporters (of which I am one and would NEVER vote for Barack), Ralph Nader's candidacy (which is not being covered by the media), Barr's candidacy (also not covered by the media), Barack's decline lately because of frequent policy gaffs and the inability to talk coherently without a teleprompter in front of him, and McCain's attractively moderate positions, we as Democrats have a lot to worry about between now and the election. We should be out there pushing for Hillary to be on the ticket....that would clinch it.

We watched in horror   August 6th, 2008 5:45 pm ET

How did the myth get started about the anti-Hillary hate? Hillary shone and rose even higher by her conduct under attack from ALL sides- EVEN her own party.

Obama might have won if he had not played so dirty.

Obama is a politician like the rest- but he claimed to be above the fray and claimed to be about hope and change... so the betrayal is that much worse.

Swiftboating the party's best hope by the party itself and by the Obama CULT will not go un noticed.

bruce   August 6th, 2008 5:41 pm ET

If McCain happens to win, unlikely as that may be, the silver lining will be watching him appoint 1 or 2 Supreme Court Justices. It will be exactly what the puma's and the Rise Hillary Rise group deserve. Their candidate lost, and she lost it herself by running a poor campaign with pathetic money management and on top of that, hired some of the most incompetent people available. That does not demonstrate a readiness to be President of anything, and none of the above was caused by Obama or the media. And it wasn't the media or Obama that made her lie about the sniper fire. So, you go girls, get McCain elected........I'll never need an abortion!

Paulette, SD   August 6th, 2008 5:41 pm ET

Great, if she collects $2 from each of them, she can get her money back. Her dumb supporters can pay for her dumb decision to continue in a race that was MATHEMATICALLY impossible for her to win. They deserve each other.

The rest of us will be inside the convention, making history with Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee.

Denny   August 6th, 2008 5:38 pm ET

I hope the camera gets a close-up of everyone of their stupid faces. What morons. Hillary is just eating it up because she thinks she's the second coming of Christ.

Most of my friends are ashamed of supporting the Clintons because they don't practice what they preach. Millions of people have worked and voted for them, and now when it's their turn to work for the Democratic party they are missing in action.

If Hillary shows her stupid face at that rally she will never get support to run for dog catcher. So I hope she does show up, and smile at the cameras for making a fool of herself, but it's not as if she hasn't done that before.

Shannon   August 6th, 2008 5:38 pm ET

As usual all the hate filled Obama supporters are out in droves on this site. They cry hope and change, while posting hate and nastiness. What a bunch of hypocrites. The sad thing about them is that other than saying he is for hope and change, these people couldn't tell you how Obama voted on one issue. Ignorance gets them through the day, that and chanting hope and change.

Obama-Junkie, IL   August 6th, 2008 5:36 pm ET

If just half of those supposedly "18 milllion Hillary voters" gave $3 dollar to Hillary's campaign, then Hillary's campaign debts and personal loans would be paid off.

GET OVER IT!   August 6th, 2008 5:35 pm ET

To the Hillary supporters who don't support Obama...get OVER IT! It's not about the person so much as it is about the ISSUES! You would rather sacrifice women's rights and keep our children in Iraq than vote for OBAMA?? That just proves your intentions. The fact is, Hillary and Obama are way more similar in their views than McCain and Hillary. If you vote for McCain or don't vote at all, you officially lose your right to complain about ANYTHING that goes on with healthcare, the economy or women's rights.

****NEWSFLASH****

If Obama doesn't get elected and Hillary decides to run in 2012, do you really think the Obama supporters are gonna support Hillary???!! There will be a new organization formed...OSAH..Obama Supporters Against Hillary. LOL If HIllary ever wants to get to the white house, her supporters better band together and support Obama. PERIOD.

Gary H   August 6th, 2008 5:34 pm ET

That's right. I am an Obama supporter since day one but I was big enough to cotribute $100 to help retire Hillary's debt. All the crybabie PUMAS can do is whine about how Obama beat her. As the person above said, if her "18 Million" supporters would give a dollar each her debt would be retired. I suspect that the PUMAS are really only a bitter very small but vocal group of losers.
Hillary lost the primary but unlike the PUMAS she is anything but a loser.

Dave in Atlanta   August 6th, 2008 5:33 pm ET

I'm sure Clinton is sitting somewhere thinking: "I wish these idiots would put all this enery into retiring my campaign debt."

Mark   August 6th, 2008 5:33 pm ET

Is this a last-ditch effort to force Hillary as the nominee? I am guessing that this will turn into a few hundred people scattered across the country trying to stage a march, but noone being able to decide where to march to. If you are that upset about the Dems choosing Obama instead of Hillary, then form your own party- the feminists and racists party, or the blind-to-reason party, or something like that. At least you wouldn't have to focus on McCain as the object and beneficiary of your tantrum, you could actually choose your own candidate to challenge Obama! Maybe one who might be pro-choice?

Jake   August 6th, 2008 5:32 pm ET

It's kind of a risk for them to take. Most of their strength has been in being able to claim more support than they have. This could expose them as the angry losers they are.

webster208   August 6th, 2008 5:31 pm ET

The march seems to be a peaceful event. I wonder why the Obama posters here are so bitter. They still feel the need to insult Hillary and her supporters long after the primary is over. Read Roland Martin's article today and you will see how conflicted Obama supporters are. Martin observes that Bill still seems bitter about Hillary's loss (this is Martin's conclusion), and he said he prefers for Bill to show and express this bitterness. But check what Martin will have to say if Clinton articulates what he really thinks of Obama. All this taunting of the Clintons by Obama supporters are preventing party unity, and guess who they'll blame if Obama loses in November.

Scott L   August 6th, 2008 5:31 pm ET

This topic is right out of Karl Rove's play book. True democrats, don't fall for this conversation. Most of us voted for Hillary are ready to stand for Obama. We cannot lose this election and our women's rights. Most women I talk to that voted for Clinton as well share the same views. A democrat MUST be in the white house. Hillary doesn't have REAL supporters. If she did they would help her pay off her debt. Instead of leaving high and dry to BEG everybody else to help her pay her bills. That's what real supporters do DONATE to their candidate's campaign, and represent the causes their candidate stand for. These trouble makers just make her and themselves look real stupid. It's sort of pathetic how they are always threatening and making a lot of noise.

Edgar, Texas   August 6th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

What are they protesting???
Are they angry because a black man is the Democratic candidate, or is it because a woman isn't?
They're protesting the democratic process and are hurting their party!!!
If they don't knock this off, they'll clear a path for McCain to walk in to the White House come November.

Tom   August 6th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

My family members have donated to the limit now and we all wish we could be in Denver that day. It will be a historic day and we are trying to put a group together. To the previous comments – It has been noted that most of the Republicans voters went with Obama not Hillary. Check your facts.

Tjaye in LA   August 6th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Typical whiney broads. They would have felt that the Obama supporters OWED Hillary their support – even if she had managed to STEAL the election. I hope they realize that there are many who will NEVER EVER support Hillary or President because of their actions. 2012 is shot to the devil because they want to force their candidate who LOST fair and square to be a winner.

Won't happen!

Flip Floppers   August 6th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Mike   August 6th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

Ask the PUMA's why they have not ponied up the money to help her pay her debt? Why you ask, is because the panty waste that started PUMA is an actor trying to get his big "break". They have raised 1m and Hill's camp said they have not seen a thin dime.

Trust me when Nov comes it will be a landslide this country has never witnessed.

Most of the Hillary supporters have moved on and are on board for the good of the country. These are fake reupublicans trying to sow discord, becaue their house in in shambles.

Get ready for the whooping of your lives!

voter   August 6th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

How much does this cost? (should go toward her debt)

UNITE DEMS!

Craig T   August 6th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

WHILE THEY ARE AT IT, WHY DON'T THE 18 MILLION PAY OFF HER DEBTS....

Observer   August 6th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

So, what will be gained by this march? I just don't get it. If you had wanted Hillary to win, you should have gotten Bill off the stage. Hillary has no one to blame but herself. And anyone who says this loss was due to gender bias, you sre simply wrong. Bill and Hillary lost this campaign with their actions.

LB   August 6th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

What a joke. Is this what parents are teaching their kids now. If their team loses run up and down the street with signs saying the other team must of cheated because their team lost. Total disgrace to themselves and the rest of the American people. What will the rest of the world think when they see these crybabies on TV.

jerry in KY   August 6th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

I agree with Diamond... if all these 18 million were half as supportive as they are bitter they would have each sent Hillary a dollar and the debt would be gone.
I have been since early on an Obama supporter, still I sent Hillary $100
Please just get a grip and support our party we CAN NOT afford more republican.... leadership (?)

Alan Boyer   August 6th, 2008 5:24 pm ET

watch out, Barack! The clintons aren't going away. They are hiding in the bushes to pounce.

Phantom of the Oprah   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

It is now all about reclaiming the democratic process from those who willfully subverted it.

Obama will go down in the history books as the beautiful black man who ran on the qualifications of the color brown and who took a knife to members of his own party.

Obama destroyed the democratic party.

mimi   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

Count me in!

Oh... and count all the votes in Michigan and Florida that OBAMA now wants counted. The Church Lady would say "isn't that convenient?"

If 18 million who supported Hillary want to stand up, what's the problem? Does it not fit into the Barack Obama marketing plan?

C'mon people. Our votes were silenced. Let the voices still sing under the Free Speech. This is America, isn't it? Still?

Puck   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

Just what we need – bitterness.

phil, philly   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

good luck running for president in 2012 or 20016 when your supporters are trying to hand the republicans the election in 2008.

DW   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

Give it up Already would you? IT'S OVER!!!

Bayou Joe   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

Thank you Hillary for warning America about Obama. too bad they did not listen to you. Now the DNC and the Supers can have their Charismtic empty suit as their candidate. I support you in spirit.
and in my heart I know you were the best candidate. However, since I don't have that choice, me and my family will support McCain.

Flip Floppers   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

You mean the 18 million Hillary supporters who are now supporting McCain. They've got the wrong convention don't they–McCain's convention is in September.

I wouldn't vote for that witch now if you paid me. She is determined to take the focus off of Barack and create her "own" convention. What an idiot. This is why she was not elected because she causes so much trouble everywhere she goes. She's nothing but trailor trash, and does not deserve to speak.

Voting Obama   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

You know what God Bless Obama and Clinton.... I would vote for either one.... No more Republicans...

Suz   August 6th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

Where do I sign up? I think this is needed for the freedom of the party and a lesson to the DNC about "appointing" our candidate. They disenfranchised the voters and ran a just plain crooked primary and we need to stand together in one voice and be heard. And you supporters who cry "we win, we win" need to understand, NO One wins when your rights are taken from you and your freedom is trampled.

RDS   August 6th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

How can you be more vested in a cause then the candidate you're supporting. Hillary has moved on, it's ok for you to do the same. Welcome to those who do Bye for those who don't, but the excessive complaining, marching, protesting is becoming a bit much. Some Puma are already dropping out of the movement and there has been a rift between some of the different Puma groups B/C of donation money. You want her to be the VP...she doesn't want to. You want her to have a roll call at the convention...she doesn't want to and didn't even fill out the papers to do so, therefore all the petitions to get a roll call are futile. You have an agenda for Hillary that she just doesn't have...SORRY!

30% of 18,000,000 will NOT vote for Obama. See you out in November Obama!

Stephen in Red Bluff   August 6th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

Good point, Old McSame...

These sore-losing hypocrites wouldn't even give a $1 to bail her out of her horribly mismanaged campaign (while calling out Obama for not doing enough himself) and yet they're all going to spend a few hundred to make a trip to Denver?!

Hypocrites, all!! Whine your way over to the GOP.

Pam   August 6th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

Since a lot of those votes came from stupid republicans who listened to that windbag Limbaugh, it wasn't really 18 million votes for her. She lost, get over it and move on with your lives.

David Peter   August 6th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

If Obama loses this election it will be, in large part, because of these selfish traitors; in turn, everyone will blame Hillary and she won't have a future in politics.

So just watch what happens..

Ex-Republican for Obama   August 6th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

If there are not 18 million who turn up, then it's all been a lie and a farce by lunatics with conspiracy theories.

Count them please, and if they aren't 18 mil in attendance, then tell them to STFU and quit crying!

Linda   August 6th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

I am glad. Where have you people been? Your candidate of choie has flip flopped on o many issues it is sad. Just because he is charming will not make Obama a great leader. Experience is everything. I feel so bad that Americans are so nieve, that we believe anything that sounds good. Obama is like any other politican. Keep this in mind. This big change sounds like a good idea, and the people who write the sppeches need awards! but has anyone listened to his policies? He cannot copy of HRC so now he is taking some of Mccains ideas. Great leader.

PC   August 6th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

What will this march accomplish? If it's to affect positive policy changes that's one thing. If it's an just an expression of unfocoused rage or a thinly veiled ploy to drum up support for McCain, that's another.

Denise Groves   August 6th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

who cares. stop the whining

Chris   August 6th, 2008 5:21 pm ET

At the end of the day, I bet they would have a hard time getting a 1000 people to march. Trust me. Most people are smart enough to know that marching at this point does not do any good to anyone.

Hillary 2012!... Let the Dalai Bama crawl back to Chicago!

Rich - San Diego   August 6th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

How has appearing at one event with Hillary and a paltry Bill Richardson event constitute going "to great lengths to promote party unity"? Since securing the nomination I have seen him adopt many positions that Hillary stood for in the first place, but have I once heard him credit Hillary for her leadership? um...no

JoelWhy   August 6th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

Just a quick heads up to all you PUMAs out there; if you replace just any of the four left-leaning Supreme Court Justices with a Scalia-esqe Justice (as McCain has promised to do) you can kiss Roe v. Wade goodbye. (Not to mention a host of other freedoms we've enjoyed because of S.Ct. rulings.)

Considering that Stevens is almost 90, and that other justices have battled cancer, etc., it's VERY likely that the next President will appoint one or more of their replacements.)

But, hey, we're a country that is going to get exactly what it deserves. We (not me, but 'we' as a country) voted Bush in and got what we deserved. If we vote McCain in, we'll get exactly what we deserve yet again.

mike   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

The country is united. This election will remove a corrupt goverment and prove by a landslide that america will be back in the global race of sanity. As a Clinton fan,the best time of this country was when Bill was president.Know that Obama has the torch we are in good hands. But then again if a rock was running against the republicans it would win.

Hatred drove us away   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

Obama recklessly divided the democratic party- for personal gain. To enter himself prematurely into the history books.
He diced and divided democrats by
race
gender
age
income
education
geography.

Hate anyone who is not for Obama and call them ignorant, uneducated, stupid, moronic, redneck- EVEN other democrats.

Then in the end- well what choice do they have once I carve Hillary up and toss her under the bus?

MR.GET RIGHT   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

TO ALL HRC SUPPORTORS,

IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION, WE WILL REMEMBER THIS IF HRC RUNS FOR PRESIDENT AGAIN. AND I PROMISE YOU WE 18.5 MILLION STRONG OBAMA SUPPORTORS WILL VOTE FOR WHOMEVER RUNS AGAINST HER PERIOD. THEN YOU WILL LOSE TWICE.

Abby   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

Hope they charge a dollar per person so they can pay her debt.

Bitter, angry, counterproductive individuals! They make us women look like emotional train wrecks. Think with your head please!!!

Reality Check   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

Many Hillary supporters already contributed the maximum.

Obama can't even adhere to public financing laws, which were created by and for the DNC, so its no wonder his supporters would overlook a little thing like honesty in politics.

Hillary 2012, change where its NEEDED.

Kelby from Houston, TX   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

MY GOD!! WILL ANYTHING SHUT THESE PEOPLE UP? I am so sick of them. This race may be spoiled by the sore losers from the Hillary camp. If she truly cared about the party, Hillary would show up at this event and bring them inside of the convention in an effort to unite the party.
If any of these people believed in what Hillary wanted to accomplish as president, THEY WOULD NEVER VOTE FOR MCCAIN! THEY WOULD NEVER VOTE REPUG EVER!
And the only reason they are so petty and hateful is because they lost! It's the same reason the repugs started cheating in elections. It didn't matter that the person the public chose was better or their positions on the policy. THEY JUST COULDN'T STAND LOSING!
BUCK UP GUYS!
We can still get universal healthcare
We can still get out of Iraq responsibly
We can still fix the economy

This dumb demonstration will not restore her as the democratic nominee. Write her in, she still won't win. You guys are deranged! There were many upset people when GWB "defeated" Al Gore. Great, maybe if they all give $1.00 she can get close to retiring her debt. Honestly, they pretend to support her so much but why can't they help her witth her $25mil. debt? This is pathetic. Instead of having their voices heard, what about their pocketbooks?

Mrs. Bama   August 6th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

You "supporters" are killing her politcal career, if Barack loses and people think its her fault, its a wrap for her career no chance in 2012 or 2016............

BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!!!!

And so the Clinton legacy continues–DRAMA.

Whatever, I will be there and I will not waste a minute of my time thinking about Hillary Clinton. She and Bill are the most selfish, self-centered people on the planet.

I'm not spending my hard earned money, staying in a Denver hotel without a discount I might add, to see or hear Hillary Hateful Clinton.
I hope she gets every dime of her money back, which is really why she's running this march. Sharmeful.

I wish I could be there and support Hillary..she did get over 18 million votes and Barack and his people think they have a chance...Let's nominate Hillary ,the only people who put Barack as the nominee were the SUPER DELEGATES not the American People...Barack has shown everyday how he is just a puppet and is his having his strings pulled by Kennedy,Kerry,Pelosi and Howard Dean...this is why they did not want Hillary..she is a fighter ..a fighter for all of the American people!!!!

How Pathetic

Jim   August 6th, 2008 5:13 pm ET

People need to seriously consider what is at stake here. By creating a boondoggle distraction, these Hillary backers are strengthening McCain's chances. McCain is a man who cannot wait to enter us into the fray of a 3rd simultaneously waged war. Can someone here tell me the last time in history a nation invaded three seperate countries? I'll give you a hint, it has something to do with Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin. Bush, Cheney, and McCain won't stop until they stoke the fires for a 3rd World War. A vote for McCain is a vote for more war, potentially on a worldwide scale.

Capt. Smash, Salt Lake City, Utah   August 6th, 2008 5:13 pm ET

Hope the superdelegates wake up at the convention and do a roll call. I can't physically be there at the march but will certainly be there in thoughts and prayers. Other than that as a registered dem. I will be voting for McCain! obama has not united anything but the biased news medias.

What kind of man would label an ex-president a racist- just to gain a few votes?

What kind of man would destroy his own party by instigating hatred among democrats for fellow democrats- while proclaiming himself to be a uniter.

Yes he said it: I can win back HRC people but not the other way around.

The opposite illusion.

Hillary has the support of the BASE of the Democratic Party, lifelong democrats, Obambi has the support of some independent voters, the confused, and dreamers.

How can Obambi win in general election when the base of the Democratic Party is leaving the party by the busloads and they're taking their money with them.

When you SELECT instead of ELECT, you lose your support.

PUMA in Training   August 6th, 2008 5:09 pm ET

I just wish I could be there.

And tell Richardson to take a hike while your at it! Like anyone would pay to see that man.

Mike Philly   August 6th, 2008 5:09 pm ET

You know, he could potentially still choose her. He's promising change and having her give a speech on Tuesday and then unveiling her as VP the next night certainly would be an interesting change!

I really hope he's not so stupid and arrogant that he has ruled her out just because she's a Clinton. Above all else, we need Democrats in the White House and I'm not too keen on him taking chances just to make a point. Clinton/Obama are a great combination and one guaranteed to win the election...so why gamble with anyone else?

Diamond from Florida   August 6th, 2008 5:09 pm ET

Its been about 2 months since hillary suspended her campiagn, and her "supporters" are still crying about it? 18 million voices need to help pay her debt.
