I live in the city of Detroit and I feel this is sooooooooo embarrasing for our city. I believe that this entire jail issue could have pended until the PGA Championship in Bloomfield Hills which is 15 miles away from downtown. Now the entire world will see the problems we continue to go through.

This guy is a crook and has been raping the city of Detroit for years. One can only hope he will wind up being found guilty and go to jail for years. Then perhaps the city will be able to grow and prosper rather than sink farther into ruin.

This man seems very defiant in his comments and actions.
Not living in Detroit, I wonder however if he is a good mayor forthis city that faces such hardships. If he is, cut some slack and let him govern and work out a deal on his charges or postpone them until he he out of office.
If he is not doign the job, then he should be removed, replaced and let the city focus on getting healthier. The people of Detroit shuld be the first concern and the last.
