(CNN) - Barack Obama and his family are on their way to Hawaii aboard the Illinois senator's campaign plane. They'll journey to Oahu, where they will spend several days visiting his extended family.
They've been joined on board by more than a dozen family friends. The section of the plane usually reserved for staff is filled with children under the age of 12.

Hopefully he comes back with some renewed energy for the stretch run. It's been a long, long campaign for Obama. Because of "I won't quit" Hillary, he didn't get the break that McCain had.
I have no problem with him using some of the campaign money for his vacation. This won't stop me from donating more, either.
All you sore loser Hillary supporters need to take a look at the bigger picture! If you think voting for McCain is better than voting for Obama, then you really were voting for Hillary for all the wrong reasons....cuz she's a woman. Stop being so proudful of not having YOUR favorite person win and vote for who's best for this country!
Hillary and Obama are identically the same when it comes to policies, especially when you compare Obama to McBush! Do you really want another 8 years of business as usual with the Bush policies still destroying this country???

Thank you Senator Obama for showing respect for fellow Americans by choosing to take time centred around the Olympics so that we too can enjoy a bit of diversion from the political shenanigans (aka frivolous Republican ads). Please keep the media away from you, and god bless!

Good for Barack – the Country's going to be watching the Olympics and he needs to recharge his batteries. Better to have a plane load of kids on Obama's plane that to have a plane load of communists on McCain's. A vote for McCain is a vote for continuing the recession we're in and a continuation of Bush's failed policies.

I would remind the Obama-haters that McCain has largely taken his weekends off while Obama has not. I would also reminded all voters that McCain had 2 months of leisure time while the Democratic primary was still dragging on.
