Seriously, Ridge has more substance than folks who only respond to duct tape and color-coding give him credit for...he knew when to get away from that administration. He certainly did better than the current head of Homeland Security, who wouldn't even acknowledge on an NPR interview that there were refugees in the Superdome when the news hit.

Susie, all due respect, I'm not sure why being the daughter of a WWII vet makes your opinion about Obama's experience more valid than others. Our family has four generations of vets, and I believe that Obama has the leadership, instincts, character, and intelligence needed to be an outstanding American president, starting January of 2009.

We even found Weapons, dirty bombs and the like that could be used as WMD’s. Just because it’s not Nuclear, doesn’t mean it couldn’t have killed a lot of people.

You also can not blame Bush for all the failed policies either, because he’s fighting a Democrat Congress and House at every turn and you wonder why nothing has gotten done in the last 8 years.

And, Susie, I don't need a different outlook. I've taken the last many months and paid attention to Obama and what he has to say. I think Obama and McCain are equals in terms of "presidential experience": neither are 100% ready for such a job, who is? This is where judgement, intelligence, patience and thoughtfulness come into play and Obama has McCain beat in every department!!

As the son of Vietnam vet (who didn't get captured), the grandson of a WWII vet and the great-grandson of a WWI vet, I think Obama has all he needs going into such a monumental position. Obama is a true American, just like you, Susie, and is more than ready to lead this great nation.

A few things. Ridge is very popular in PA and could very well make the difference in that state.

As far as trying to distance himself from Bush... it doesn't matter what McCain does. Connecting McCain and Bush is the bases for all Obama's adds right now and I'm willing to be they won't change that much in the next 80 days

Lastly, I would have never guess that Bush would have won in '04. If there ever was a party that can screw up an almost sure thing, its the Democrats.

It should come down to this. McCain is Moderate, Obama is liberal. Eventhough.....Obama is trying to make people think he's not a liberal and McCain seems to be trying to make people think he is conservative.

Vote accordingly.

One recurrent criticism of Sen. Obama is his alleged lack of experience. Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte and many others great statesmen were much younger, and certainly less educated and experienced than Sen. Obama. The voters will respect the academic, social, and political achievements of the candidate as well as his personal profile, as much as they value the military and personal experience of Sen. McCain as a POW.

I am sure I won't be the only one to vote for an educated gentleman, considerate of others and focused on important issues.

Please, understand what is going on. We owe ourselves an educated electorate. We have had a disastrous 8 years, and for anyone with a mind of their own to think that the only choice we have is to continue this garbage is preposterous.
