By planning to send supporters ... and all media people that have signed up ... an EMAIL outlining his VP selection, Obama can wait until after the start of the convention to make the announcement and still make it before the VP is scheduled to speak at the convention.

Imagine a world where a political/governmental "secret" is kept until the last possible moment. Hallelujah!!

John McCain may have to committ to his VP before Obama because this shrinks the amount of time McCain will have to prepare around this point for the Republican convention.

Do the Hillary supporters who keep repeating "18 million people support Hillary!" realize that 18 million other people support Obama? If Clinton somehow steals the nomination at the convention, don't expect the 18 million Obama supporters to give her the time of day. If Hillary loses the election for Obama in November, don't expect the 18 million Obama supporters to give her the time of day in 2012. We still can't figure out why we're supposed to support somebody who, with all that vaunted experience, couldn't manage to run a campaign and win.

As the media are discussing John Edrwards' infidelity, questions about McCane's cheating behind his invalid wife with Cindy should and must come out.

When he met her, he lied to her about his age, and by his own words, "zeroed in on her." You owe it to the integrity of your profession to inform the American people.

It is rediculus that the media discusses the infidelity of a man who is not in in office, nor is he running for president for days now, and ignores John McCane's brutal and inhumane treatment of his invalid ex-wife.

Shame on you CNN. Even if the other news organizations don't tell the American people the truth about John McCane, you should. After all, you are the only one claiming to be the Best Political Team on Television.

p.s. I know you will not print this, but at least discuss the possiblity of shining light on the "character" of John McCain in your staff meetings. Hopefully there will be enough decent journalists left at CNN to see the need for covering the REAL news: John McCane and his abusive behavior towards his ex-wife.

Oh yes, Mike in Syracuse, let's please open that Pandora's box about Edwards. Do you really want to go there? On the Democratic side, we have a guy who cheated on his ill wife with a woman who wasn't wealthy or considerably younger than he. He also ISN'T the presumptive nominee. Obviously he was thinking with his much-smaller head as opposed to the one with a brain it it. On the Republican side, we have a guy who cheated on his crippled wife with a number of people, finally picking one considerably younger who had scads of money. Then he applied for a marriage license before his divorce was even final. He wasn't only thinking with the much-smaller head; he was thinking with his wallet.
