 Lieberman campaigned with McCain Tuesday.
Lieberman campaigned with McCain Tuesday.

YORK, Pennsylvania (CNN) — John McCain used one of his largest and most ambitious town halls to date to brandish a pair of surrogates, Joe Lieberman and Tom Ridge, who may help him shore up support among independents in this fall battleground.

The Tuesday stop began with some campaign stunt work that turned the typically-mellow format into a lively Pennsylvania event that resembled one of the noisy rallies that characterized the Democratic primary.

The audience on hand — estimated by the campaign as north of 3,000 people — far exceeded the size of a standard McCain event. And the audience, who had been warmed up by a pair of television screens broadcasting a biographical film about the candidate, rose to their feet when McCain, Lieberman and Ridge arrived.

The trio entered the York Expo Center in the Straight Talk Express, which motored into the indoor venue under a massive American flag that was hoisted up to reveal the campaign bus, all while the theme from “Rocky” blared.

Lieberman then marshaled the audience by seeming to question Obama’s patriotism and commitment to bipartisanship in Washington.

"In my opinion, the choice could not be more clear, between one candidate John McCain who's had experience, been tested in war and tried in peace. Another candidate who has not,” Lieberman said to applause. “Between one candidate, John McCain who's always put the country first, worked across party lines to get things done, and one candidate who has not.”

For his part, McCain plugged the moderate records Lieberman and Ridge, and praised their commitment to keeping the country safe.

Though he made a strong push to attract independents in his town hall performance, demanding that congress work together to solve the country’s energy crisis, the GOP nominee for the first time acknowledged he faces a deficit of support among younger voters.

Responding to a former Hillary Clinton supporter who asked what McCain will do for younger Americans, McCain said: “I'll give you straight talk. I need to do a better job with young voters in America.”

I'm reading these comments and trying to figure out why the posts are soooo hard on Lieberman. JL votes with over 90% of democrats, JM reaches across the partisan divide ie. Feingold; Kennedy; etc. I will support the center. I don't like ridiculous radical polititions.

Joe Lieberman is a snake of the highest proportions. No loyalty. No morals. He is one of the primary reasons we are so entangled in the Middle East.

Lie-berman is a puppet of israel, and is trying to cozy up to McJohn to keep USA funding the middle east trouble maker, israel.

Lieberman, you are disgusting. How can you challenge the patriotism of a Presidential candidate? You have no business talking about working on both sides of the aisle. You are a turncoat and have shown that you or McCain will NOT work across the aisle. You disgust us.

Not4Obama   August 12th, 2008 8:24 pm ET

You Obamers make me sick! If this were anyone praising Obama you would be in total agreement. Grow up, shut up and let the rest of America feel proud that a true American patriot is running for president.

The Surly Scholar   August 12th, 2008 8:16 pm ET

I believe I've said this before, but it bears repeating: Joe Lieberman is the most grotesquely shameless political tool to ever darken the doorway of Capitol Hill. His supposedly "independent" status simply means he can prop up whatever policies or officials are most expedient to his interests. Has has never put the US or even Israel first. He has, without fail, placed himself — his material and political gain — at the forefront of his interests.

He represents a cancerous, disingenuous growth on the face of American politics. He should either dig deep — real deep — and find some modicum of human integrity, or retire.

Joseph   August 12th, 2008 8:16 pm ET

I'm waiting leaders Reid and Pelosi to toss Joe Libermann from the democratic party. What is taking them so long? He needed to go yesterday.

Peter (CA)   August 12th, 2008 7:56 pm ET

Tom,

We are tired of arrogance and stupidity. We are tired of a President who is proud to say he doesn't read and uses his gut reaction as his means of making a decision. We are tired of cowboy diplomacy, we are tired of lies and cover-ups. We are tired of Bush and we see McCain veering in the same direction.

We are smart enough to laugh at your comparisons of Bush and Obama. Bush's protege is McCain, the guy who said he would continue 95% of Bush's policies.

By the way, nice way to engage in a debate. My head is out and looking around, thank you very much. Where has yours been for the last 8 years?

Carl Justus   August 12th, 2008 7:55 pm ET

LIeberman is nothing more than a die hard Israel supporter and will all he can to give to Israel as much money, military equipment and grants and donations as possible. Lieberman should either move to Israel or join the republican party or just leave the country or just shut up for I do not believe anyone even takes him anywhere near faintly serious.

Lieberman is such an enormous fool. Talk about something important. McCain hasn't always put his country first. He is a self centered political operator, bending over frontwards and backwards to appeal to the Republican factions.

Mike Lawler   August 12th, 2008 7:41 pm ET

This is the lowest form of politics. Question a man's commitment to his county, and give no example to back it up.

They are appealing to the knee jerk reaction of voters who they hope will put little actual thought into their decision on who to vote for.

Negative tactics like this are all these very sad people have left.

The great Senator Lieberman don't even know what Party he currently belongs to. He is as confused as his old buddy John. Lieberman is dying to be McCain's VP and I certainly wish that his wish comes true.

If Joe Lieberman gets the VP spot, the Republican Conservative base will have a field day when comes November, because they will stay home to show their discontent with McCain, and the Democratic go to the poll by the million. By 10 o'clock P.M on election day, McCain will be delivering his concession speech. Mark my words!

If you hate Bush's bumbling mistakes and arrogance, how could you possibly vote for his brother in attitude, Obama?

I have to laugh all the Obama supporters making fun of McCain and his small rallies but yet he is only 4 or 5 points behind him in the polls and Obama draws 75th. I wish Lieberman had the opportunity to expound on what he meant. What is "not standing with your country"? Opposing the war in Iraq? Reaching out to the world as a leader of this country should do? Being a responsible member of the world community and preferring diplomacy to war rhetoric?

Lieberman's spiel rings hollow as it is not backed up with anything. Just like the posts on these blogs that use all of the right-wing buzzwords: socialist, elitist, un-American, Messiah.

Shame on this hypocrite neo-con.

PaulC   August 12th, 2008 6:59 pm ET

John McCain can brag about his 26 years in the Senate but it is a true duck and evade career. Did he propose any of these grandiose programs as a Senator?

He is putting forth a list of promises and dreams that he feels is necessary to spout to rally the faithful so they don't look at his accomplishments and the leadership he did not display during his
26 years at the public trough.

How does getting captured translate into "tested in war," exactly? The guy got napped and conducted himself honorably. That's not nothing, but it sure ain't experience. And let's not forget that McCain's been losing all the wars he's stood for so far — if we're talking about judgment, yeah, he's been tested - and failed.

An African American friend once told me that she was ashamed that Condolezza Rice was Black. Now I know exactly how she feels because I am ashamed that Sen. Liebeman is Jewish.

The Jews have a word for someone like him: "Shonda." It means "disgrace."

Virtually no one outside of the state of Connecticut knew who Lieberman was until the Democratic Party nominated him for Vice President. That year, he ran against the Republicans who championed cutting taxes for the rich, ending abortion, privatizing social security, diverting funds from public schools to private ones, and opposing universal health insurance.

And now, eight years after the Republicans ridiculed him as "Joe Loserman" (remember that?), he has become their House Jew.

CNN should put the country first by researching and reporting on both sides of the Georgia conflict and of the foibles of each of the leaders involved. Like the war in Iraq, CNN (and the MSM) are too quick to take the Republican talking points and run with them.

CNN should also be more honest and objective to give credit where credit is due: It is France that is spear heading the diplomatic mission to end the physical conflict in Georgia, the US has little involvement, and to blindly say the the US and "her allies" want Russia out of the G8 and Georgia into NATO is not accurate.

CNN should state who these allies are, that Nato members turned down Georgia's acceptance into NATO and I have found no other G8 country pushing for expelling Russia from the G8.

Two weeks from now I predict CNN will be backtracking on much of what they are reporting now. BBC in Britain and CBC in Canada has much more objective and balanced news.

Texann   August 12th, 2008 6:22 pm ET

I really wish CNN could put an "age requirement" on allowing people to post here (although there is no way to enforce it). But the point being… it appears many of the people posting on here are about 13 years old and not too bright. And I don't mean to insult the 13 year olds in this world because most of them are probably a lot smarter than some of the dolts posting on here. And unfortunately, many of these posters are Obama supporters. You people flat out scare me… and I'm a Democrat. This November election probably worries me even more than the last two…. because we have NOBODY running this time that deserves the office.
Boy, if there were only a "none of the above" option on the ballot. I suspect "none" would get the majority of the votes…. and maybe then we could get SERIOUS about picking legitimate qualified candidates.

VB Lincoln Park, NJ   August 12th, 2008 6:18 pm ET

Lieberman is absolutely correct.

Obama has demonstrated that he votes and strategize on popularity vs. his country.

Examples:

1.Obama voted against the surge (Not popular at the time but what was needed for our national security)

2.Drilling, Obama is against it to satisfy the special interest and the very left liberals of his part

3.Obama refused to denounce his mentor, pastor Wright while he said GD to America but when he called Obama a politician he denounced him
I have many many more.

Country above all Mr. Obama.

I have been reading the cnn ticker and other outlets to form my choices for this election year. One thing I have noticed in reading the comments is that Obama supporters are so hateful they impress me as rabid and very off-putting. Is this because the polls are so even and Mr. Obama has such a lack of experience? Add an impotent Democratic dominated Congress in the mix and one would have to be very cautious to consider voting for this party.

When asked, the McCain campaign says they took the video from local news packages, but of course that doesn't explain anything.

Obama puts Obama first period. The man will do or say anything to get elected, and the zombies that follow him believe everything he says. I would love to ask his supporters questions on key issues, I would bet that most of them couldn't tell you how he voted on anything. The only accomplishment Obama has, is his ability to run for office. He gets elected to one, and starts running for the next one, he has accomplished nothing. If he truly cared about America, he would do his job in the senate, and try to help struggling Americans. Come on Obama supporters name one piece of legislation this man has drafted that has helped Americans.

Hi,

If you want to know McCain's foreign policy. Follow the oil lobbyist in
his campaign or his contributors. There's a reason he backs Georgia.
The could been a dictatorship and he would still back him. One of McCain's oil lobbyist is working with the Georgian government.

At least we know, he's consistent with the Bush approach. McCain
knows that we invaded Iraq for oil and maybe to have a presence in the Mideast to protect the oil supply.

Kris In Atlanta   August 12th, 2008 5:32 pm ET

This is pathetic. I'm still trying to figure out two things: 1, why in the world would any person who voted for Hillary now decide to vote for McCain? 2, what makes John McCain qualified to be president? Have I missed something in the last 25 years since he took office or what? The only thing McCain has is ambition-raw, unadulterated, and shameless. And while he trashes Obama, and so many others join him, they need to remember 17 million things: He WON the primary. This is not a fluke. This election is finally about working families who are facing actual hard times, and Obama understands that.

McCain chooses to make light of Obama, and dismiss his supporters, and that's fine. Hillary did the same thing.

….and you are a sexist. Your stategy is flawed; you can 'white-guilt' us into voting for your candidate.

Also, it's not about wanting McCain. We've had Obama forced down our throats for months now. You, the press, the DNC have all betrayed the democratic party and destroyed it's hope of the White House. All of you need to be told that we will not accept this; the DNC has no right to tell me who to vote for. It appears the Republicans are the only ones who run a fair election for the nominee…so they will get out support for truly running a democratic nomination process.

Liberman is awful he voted with demoncratic all the time he is sneaky
no more Bush and MCSAME VOTE for Obama

Jim in Atlanta   August 12th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

I'm a former Hillary supporter for McCain. Lieberman has it right and McCain is smart to be campaigning with him. Could you imagine Obama in charge of our foreign affairs and handling and emergency situation like what is going on in Georgia? I certainly can't and that's why this democrat will be voting for John McCain. Wake up America and realize Obama was a state legislator only 3 years ago. How in the world do you think he is qualified to be our president???

ChicagoJosh   August 12th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

I'm not going to make fun of the way Lieberman looks, or the age of McCain. I don't have to know that i do not want them leading this country.

But McCain, please, tell me how Obama is not American enough?? Your an adult, explaing your reasons. Just because he doesn't agree with you on all issues does not mean he does not love and support this country.

Because when you say he does not put his country first, then you say the same about me. I do not appreciate that.

Hillary 08   August 12th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

She can still win the nomination according to party rules. It's time for change — a change of the supers support over to Hillary.

GET OVER IT!!!

Obama has had one wife, and one love of his life. He loves this country and will make a great president.

John McCain is the one who signed statements denouncing the United States,

Can someone in the media tell me if this is really true? I'll understand if it was a result of his captivity.

I've always felt calling him a 'war hero' was an overstatement … firemen running into burning buildings are heroes ….

But if it is true did this … his own campaign should immediately put an end to all the "hero" talk.

Justin in CA   August 12th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

I think McCain should denounce the statement. That is not what he promised at the beginning of this campaign. Just another flip-flop.

John McCarthy   August 12th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

Mr. McSlick. I hate his stupid plastic smile. He's not more or less patriotic than Obama.

He was shot down, give me a break. He signed up for the military, he got shot down, he lived through it thank God, but that's it. No more, no less. This doesn't qualify anyone to be president, never did, never will.

Arizona, please leave the light on for this man. He will not be my president.

Tim in Syracuse   August 12th, 2008 5:20 pm ET

McCain always put America first?!?

Is this the same John McCain that has belittled and berated other POW / MIA families when they came to him for help?

The same John McCain who shouted down opposition to his stance on the POW situation in 1992?

The same John McCain who "McCain Bill" in 1989 demolished the "Truth Bill" that would have required investigating into any POW sightings?

John has put HIS America first, his vision….his version. I'd like to see some investigation by the Media into his history with the POW/MIA movement and his legislative history. Everyone seems afraid to look at his temper issues and his chronic problems with insignificant little things like FACTS.

Joe is hanging on because he thinks this is his shot at getting even with the Dems for not reelecting him…no more and no less. Just what we need….two bitter old men in Washington….or should I say, two more.

Lieberman, was a democratic before change independent.
He act more republican, which he just may loose his seat the
next time around. He needs to stop being negative and talk
about local issues, not the war. McCain, promise not to be
negative in the general election and look at him now, everyday
he is negative and news media is helping him. This to me is
believe be because Obama is black,no republican support of
McCain or the media want him elected.Obama, will be a great
president.

Tammy From Cleveland, as a Hillary supporter, how can you possibly vote for McCain? What is it that you like about Hillary? Is it just that she is a woman, or is it that she believes in ending this war, fixing the economy, making healthcare affordable for everyone. McCain will do none of that!

If you vote for McCain and he wins, YOUR state will lose more jobs, YOUR gas will cost more, YOUR healthcare premiums will continue to rise… You and all of the other Hillary supporters need to set the emotions aside and use your brain. McCain is a war monger who wants to get us into another Cold War, or worse, a real war with Russia. His top foreign policy advisor is a lobbyist paid by the Georgian government. Haven't you had enough with the wars and our soldiers dying in vain?

Obama and Hillary have nearly identical plans on everything. This election is way too important to let your emotions get the best of you. This is not a popularity contest! We are electing the leader of the free world here.

Kal   August 12th, 2008 5:03 pm ET

Are you kidding me? Lieberman shouldn't be talking. This guy is nuts. I think he is confusing America with Israel. You see, Mr. Lieberman, Obama is running for the president of the United States, not Israel. Therefore, you cannot say that Obama has not always put the country first, because this is the U.S. we care about, NOT ISRAEL!

Mr. Lieberman, it would be so much better if you just leave this great nation and go live in Israel. Don't worry, you'll still get a check. We send Israel enough money, don't we? You have no right to accuse ANYONE of putting any interest before AMERICA. You are a tool for the Zionist cause. Because of people like you, our country has a one-sided policy that promotes apartheid and terror against the Palestinian population. Shame on you Lieberman, you old hobbit.

Mat-Raleigh NC   August 12th, 2008 5:03 pm ET

John McCain seems determined to return the world to the atmosphere of the Cold War. Thousands of S. Ossetians were killed by the Georgians before the Russians rolled in, but Sen. McCain conveniently omits this when trying to stir up pro-Georgian support. The Georgian government is just as culpable as the Kremlin for elevating the conflict.

Cathy   August 12th, 2008 5:03 pm ET

McCain is now using the Rocky theme like Clinton…Oh my Lord.

The disappointed Clinton supporters are playing right into McCain hands. McCain doesn't care about Clinton supporter or their issues. McCain is just using you for your votes. I understand the Clinton supports are disappointed…but don't be naive to McCain’s alterative motives. MCCAIN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING WE OBAMA AND CLINTON SUPPORTERS CARE ABOUT OR SUPPORT.

McCain will use you on November 4th and throw you away on November 5th.

Hey Clinton/McCain, our fine state of Pennsylvania will remain blue if I have anything to say about it. It kills me that a person who at one time supported Hillary would now vote for a politician who is diametrically opposed to everything that she stood for (universal health care, gay rights, right-to-choose, energy, etc. etc.). I understand your anger—hell, if Hillary had won the nomination, I would have seriously considered voting for McCain. But, ultimately, I would have plugged my nose and voted for Hillary, even though her paranoia and "enemies list" mentality is literally Nixonian in scope. And to Clinton/McCain, I have three simple words that I ask you to take into the voting booth with you: Supreme. Court. Nominations.

Hawk, Texas   August 12th, 2008 4:58 pm ET

MCCAIN AND LIBERMAN ARE BOTH ADDLEPATED. MCCAIN TALKS ABOUT SUPPORTING THE TROOPS, YET HE VOTES AGAINST ANY THING FOR VETERANS. AND AS FOR THE TRAITOR LIBERMAN, HE IS STRICTLY PRO ISRAEL ALL THE WAY. EVEN OVER AMERICA.HE IS BUSH'S KISSING POST.

Chris from NY   August 12th, 2008 4:56 pm ET

Divide and conquer. That's the name of the game. It has worked well in the past. But not this time. If God is for us who shall be against us. You pick and choose who is patriotic and who is not, God knows the heart of each individual and will judge us better than any human being can. Man sees on the outside but looks on the inside. It is not those that claim patriotism that really live up to it. Anything you love best than God is idol worship. Remeber that. And who has ever seen God but through other human beings. If you don't care so much for one another please don't preach to me about knowing God. For the best way to demonstatre God's love is through service to humanity.

Peter of Oregon   August 12th, 2008 4:56 pm ET

My friends, McCain is a typical politician. He very likely wants people to compare him to Reagan, but he's no Reagan. Let me give you some straight talk… The straight talk express ran off its tracks when McCain secured the Republican nomination. He lost his bearings on his positions. His train flipped, and then flopped toward G.W. Bush and the Big Oil elite, away from the maverick characteristics we had seen from him in 2000.

He doesn't have the right temperement for the job. I don't know what Leiberman stands for besides his support of both Republicans verbally and Democrats financially during this campaign.

No matter how hard they try PA is staying blue trust me i live in the Philly region which makes up most of Pennsylvania and theres so much enthusiasm for obama. People who never voted in there life are registering expecially in the urban areas of philly. And also kerry won PA by a narrow margin but he still won even without the strong enthusiasm for him and obama has if not more support from the blue collar voters then did kerry. Lastly if you take a look at PA polls obama is a head by a heafty margin enough so that this state is less a toss up than a lean or likely obama state.

Ken - I'd be more afraid of Chinese dominance in SE Asia than Russain dominance there.

Additionally, I believe it was Barack Obama who voted for Big Oil tax breaks. He also opposed the $135 billion GIFT to Boeing and saved the American tax payer billions of dollars by forcing the Air Force to open rebidding. Sen. Obama did nothing.

So, who is in the pocket of corporate America?

VW   August 12th, 2008 4:51 pm ET

Responding to a former Hillary Clinton supporter who asked what McCain will do for younger Americans, McCain said: “I'll give you straight talk. I need to do a better job with young voters in America.”

McCain said: "I'll give you strait talk." What was he telling us before about the invasion of Iraq, the pursuit of Obama Bin Ladin , Social Security, gas prices and the economy!

I do not need anymore "strait talk," it is time for a change!

oh, ok, let's talk about not putting country first:

Has Obama ever helped create 32 anti american propoganda films for an enemy of the country? Answer, no. Has John McCain? Answer is YES!

As if making one wasn't enough, he followed the first one up with 31 more propoganda films to aid the veitnam government. Now we know how he spent his time in Vietnam, certainly not serving america.

-Betrayed His sick wife
-Betrayed His country
-Betrayed all veterans voting down their benefi
-Betrayed all of america, voting in line with Bush 95% of the time
-Betrayed blue collar workers selling their jobs off to foreign countries

McCain: Not what we want for OUR america.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   August 12th, 2008 4:50 pm ET

McCain just wants to be president because he certainly has nothing to offer moving into the 21st century. I wouldn't trust McCain to help my grandmother cross the street because he's older than her.

Chris from NY   August 12th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

And the only way to put your country first is to attack every nation that doesn't agree with you. Who do you think you are Mr. Lieberman? Has God made you the judge over all other people and nations? Is that what you live for? To talk tough to any other nation that does not agree with the way you operate? Other countries of the world are sovereign and you just can't tell them what to do and how to conduct their business. This notion is why we haven't made any head way with Zimbabwean president Mugabe. If we can't do that with a third world country what made you think you talk down on Russia, a once upon a time world power. Go get a life. You actually need it.

Michael, Lorain, Ohio   August 12th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

Matt   August 12th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

I think it is ironic and downright funny that this of all things would come from Leiberman of all people. Sometimes I cannot help but wonder whether his loyalty is to us or to Isreal? Does he support the war for America's sake or does he secretly like the idea of 150,000 US troups in between Isreal and Iran? My instincts would tragically suggest the latter which implies that he is content using our kids as cannon fodder for his "other" country.

Jenny, Rio Vista, CA   August 12th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Tammie from Cleveland……..you just don't make sense. You need to answer the question about why you would vote for Hillary Clinton versus John McCain. Tell me the answer to that question and then tell me why you would vote for McCain over Obama. This is very serious… Do you want someone in charge that joked about bombing Iran, does not want our troops out of Iraq, does not know what to do about Afghanistan, is now threatening Russia.

And this is just foreign policy. His economic adviser is responsible for the Enron debacle, he wants to give more tax breaks to big companies, he is for NAFTA and CAFTA, he supports tax breaks for companies that ship jobs abroad. He supports 95% of the Bush policies. He is taking money from big oil companies. Do I need to go on.

And you are going to vote for him because Hillary wasn't the democratic nominee. Even though Obama's policies are very similar to Hillary's.

Remember that people died so that you as a female can vote. Please don't use that privilege frivously. Thank you.

John   August 12th, 2008 4:47 pm ET

I'm a former CT native and big Lieberman fan. I love his independence and willingness to put partisanship aside - something Obama has never done. The crazy libs up there pushed him out of the party, but he came back and won when all the people in the state got their say. The far left of the party has a knack of getting candidates nominated who are far to liberal for middle America to take.

Sorry old fellas; this is not the time of fear mongering and lying to win an election. The of repugs is over….

BigAce   August 12th, 2008 4:45 pm ET

Lieberman is just trying to be the next Zel Miller. It goes to show that OBAMA is so strong a candidate that they have to resort to lies, not distortions, but lies about his record.

I bet if you pressed Libel-man to provide evidence of what he stated, he could not produce one shred of evidence to back up his claim.

Lets see there was Rep. Gordon Smith from OR, Chuck Hagel, Jim Leech of Iowa and Dick Lugar. I guess these guys aren't Repugnant enough for Joe.

How do you prove that someone doesn't put their country first? I've never understood that claim.

McSame jumped on the Russia issue to show how tough he was but the only problem is that we don't have a military to fight another war while still in Iraq. So all he is doing is bluffing and Putin knows this.

There is no way in heck the US will retaliate against Russia. They have nukes too.

Jane Lexington, KY   August 12th, 2008 4:45 pm ET

I am so OVER Joe Lieberman. He is truly a man without a party. If people think for one moment that his liberal social beliefs are embraced within the Republican party, they are as out of touch as he is! What is it about today's political environment that morphs maverick into nutcake overnight?

LIEberman is trying his best to get the VP spot or something in McCain's cabinet. What a brown noser! Maybe he can put a chair right beside McCains in the Oval office and whisper him the correct answers for everything, or maybe they can talk on walkie talkies.

Wisdom is something that comes with age which I don't think from the amount of Mr.Magoos and Elmer fuds in these comments is very common in this venue. Older people have made the mistakes that young whipper snappers haven't thought of yet. Stop look and listen is what they used to say about crossing the train tracks. It would be wise if people would make the same decisions when it comes to picking a president.

Who gives a darn what Leiberman thinks these old guys need to go home and retire on the front porch. the RNC is such a dirty group of old farts including McCain.

Don't know why Lieberman is grinding an axe against the Democrats; it's OK to question a person's policy decisions, but when you start to question their patriotism, that's when you've climbed into the gutter
