Obama up in Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Obama is vacationing in Hawaii.
Obama is vacationing in Hawaii.

(CNN) - New polls out Wednesday show Barack Obama is leading in two Northeastern states - one of which will likely play a key role in deciding the next President of the United States.

A Franklin & Marshall poll out of Pennsylvania shows the Illinois senator leads McCain by eight points (44-36 percent) among registered voters, while a Quinnipiac poll of likely voters in New Jersey puts Obama up by 10 there. The Pennsylvania poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points, while the New Jersey poll's margin or error is plus or minus 2.6 points.

Pennsylvania is a perennial battleground state and will be heavily contested by both candidates this fall. In 2004, John Kerry carried it by less than 200,000 votes. New Jersey may be a safer bet for Obama - the state hasn't voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.

Great news for the Obama team; I think you will soon hear similar results from other states. GO OBAMA!

Nothing to get excited about at this stage but common sense says Obama's lead in almost all states including those deemed to be red will steadily increase.

The only way McCain has a chance is if they keep him out of the public's eye and away from TV cameras. They should just keep slandering Obama whether true or not it's their only chance.

    Kepp pushin' Barack!!

Puss Limpball just smeared American swimmer Michael Phelps on his comedy show, calling him "an ugly American" because he eats too much. He wondered why he is so big compared to the "chicom" female gymnasts. He reasons that if they can win gold medals and still be so small (and eat less), Phelps should be able to do the same.

Somebody give Puss a gordito and a couple of Oxys...maybe he'll shut up.

  8. Democrat for John McCain

CNN always likes to give such poll news to show that Obama is up by 8-10 points. Obama is vacationing in Hawaii. How come the polls went up. Obama is a fraud. People from PA & NJ should know what they want to elect as our president. What is Obama? What experience does he have? What bipartisanship he has? What did he accomplish? Can anybody including CNN tell me. People are getting carried away with Barack's rhetoric and big mouth. Empty vessel makes lot of noise. Barack Go home.

Frankly, I think that Obama should be way ahead (more than 15 points) in a blue state like NJ. People still are doubtful about his capacity to be President. I still do not know why people are so attracted to him-what has he done for the American people? All that I know is that he is vacationing all the time!
His whole candidacy is based on a speech he gave against the Iraq war-that's it!

I love these polls that cnn likes to quote. Now i am sure that it is true if you went to liberal Philadephia on the ritz side or you went to the ghetto you could get that skew. I say wait until november to see if that holds up. I don't think so. I beleive these people are like the people from Missouri. I bet you a dollar to a do-nut hole that missouri goes republican. They may not like John McCain but they will vote for him. Voting for Obama would be like "cutting your nose off to spite your face".

    NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A recent poll by a service about as reliable as the Communist News Network (aka Obama News Network) reported 10 out of 10 Idiots will support Obama!

Unconfirmed reports of prisoners being given the right to vote (for Obama) may have skewed the numbers (too low).

Vote McCain or join the insane.....

The man can't even take a vacation without the media stalking him every minute. I feel sorry for him and his family. Why doesn't the media follow McCant around like this? Why is the media so biased when it comes to reporting on McCant? I actually heard a CNN reporter yesterday reporting on what kind of meals Obama has had on vacation??? OMG! This sick obession with Obama is ridiculous and they wonder why they call him a celebrity, look how the media treats him!! I wonder when they'll start paying attention to McCant and his obession with War and his ignorance about the economy and every other issue important to america.

Leave Obama alone! Let the man and his family breath!!!

why dont the MSM ask if McCain is presumptious? We are all Georgians? wow Obama says he is a citizen of the world and the MSN says he is arrogant but McCain is a Foreign policy expert. So sad CNN for you to be bias. Where is your article asking if McCain is being arrogant. yea I know that aint gonna happen.

By the way cnn you are the only media outlet that always has Obama ahead all the time. You must be trying to match PMSNBC in your bias for Obama. Of course you are. It is obvious by the 9000 times you played "BLACK IN AMERICA" over and over.
