Ah Hillary was the founder of the "PUMA" Party. This is just a shot to get the VP spot so she may be able to run for President in 2012 if Obama does not run for another term and becomes a negotiator on world problems like Kissinger. This will be the force of the dream team Obama said he did not want a yes person well she is not that.

This is not new. She won't make history. So what's the point? Is this just to give Hillary supporters a chance to call out her name at the Convention? What a crock. I'll be so glad when this is over I could just
scream. When have the DEM Party, became the Clinton DEM Party. If Hillary supporters cost Obama the election, you can kiss the DEM party good bye, and the name "Hillary Clinton" will go down with distain as such names as Benedict Arnold and Judas Iscariot.

Take this into consideration:

NPR reported yesterday that 72% of Clinton supporters have already said they intend to vote for Obama.

Clinton is still several million dollars in debt.

Clinton has not been actively campaigning (speaking, running ads, etc).

Taking all that into consideration, do any of you hardcore Clinton supporters really believe she has a snowball's chance in hell to win the nomination, let alone the presidency?

I'm an Obama supporter but this is crap. How long are we going to cater to the Clintons???? If the roles were reversed, nobody would be talking about Obama's name be put in nomination. If Obama can't stand the pressure from the Clintons, how is he going to stand pressure from world leaders?

Two candidates ran a tight and honorable race. One candidate won, the other candidate lost. One candidate did not DROP OUT, one candidate LOST ! Those of you who fought the good race did so admirably . I applaud everything that you did to get your candidate elected. Now it is time to move on like the great Americans we are. The world is watching us.Let us unite our Democratic Party in Dignity.Let us go to the convention and show the kind of stuff Americans are made of . Barack Obama has been fairly nominated for President of the United States. Let us put aside old grievances and stand fast behind our nominee.
In solidarity,
Carolyn from Philadelphia

You Obamamaniacs who despise HRC because her name will be placed in nomination should look back to the 1980 convention when one of your idols (Ted Kennedy) took the fight all the way even though he was over 500 delegates behind...AND he was up against a sitting Democratic President -another of you idols Jimmy Carter.
I'm curious about how you square your hatred of HRC with your love of Ted K. ??

Hooray, hoorah, we can all breathe a sigh of relief not just for Hillary but for the life of the Democratic Party.

Why this was even an issue is beyond me. She's more than earned her moment in the sun, and if the Superdelegates have their say who knows but that she will become the nominee after all. Obama has done too many flip-flops and has too many skeletons in the closet the GOP will be only too happy to fill the world in about.

Great news, CNN. And if Hillary becomes the nominee, we all hope your reporters will give her the undying support they have shown Obama!

It is a sad day - she lost to Obama because she was unable to run an effect campaign. She paid millions to individuals that were totally unable to deliver- and you people want say that Obama caused her failure. Give us all a break - What the point most of you people blogging are not going to even vote and if you loved Hilliary you would be helping her pay off her debt to dumb Mark Penn ($13M) instead of looking for Obama and his supporter to pay it off.

But what can we expect from the Clinton's they have such ego - they think everything is about them - SO VAIN and SHALLOW

Give us all a break – What the point most of you people blogging are not going to even vote and if you loved Hilliary you would be helping her pay off her debt to dumb Mark Penn ($13M) instead of looking for Obama and his supporter to pay it off.

But what can we expect from the Clinton's they have such ego – they think everything is about them – SO VAIN and SHALLOW

Finally the DNC is waking up to the fact that they have the weaker, not viable candidate selected.

We are ready to take back the White House and win this election if we can vote for the Candidate who won the popular vote!

The problem is that the Democrats held a primary race that wasn't very democratic. Obama should not have won, but because of caucus voting, which in my mind isn't only un-democratic, but very un American (no other public vote is held this way), he was able to gain delegates even in big states like TX where Hillary won. I guess this is consistent behavior for the Democratic party, considering that Dems also favor unionization of the workplace without votes as well.

But yes, Hillary agreed to these stupid rules, and didn't campaign as if she might not win. And that was her fault. I think the nomination of Obama is an abominaton and just one more reason why anyone would be a fool to vote Democrat. And once we start talking about Obama's actual policies, the picture gets even worse.

This is effin ridiculous.

A loss is a loss, end of story. Obama won the nom fair and square.

The question has to be asked why is there such hatred and bitterness coming from Hillary's PUMA lunitics? Why do they threaten to vote McCain when he doesn't represent the issues Hillary does?

The only answer I can think of is racism and if McBush is elected this country will have dire consequences guaranteed. Racism will be the downfall of America. Just watch...

Why? She lost and can not catch up. She should be ashamed of herself. This willnot stop her irrational supporyers from making noise nor will it stop the media from trying to make this news worthy.
Funny you do not see Mitt R. or Mike H. supporters crying to get thier name into nomination. HRC's supporters are making this out to be some pity party. We are trying to support the will of the majority of Dems who took the time and the energy to get out the vote for thier candidate. HE WON!!! The more I think about this the anrier I get. You PUMAs disgust me.

Personally, I think this is a bad move and a lot of Clinton supporters, including those PUMA idiots are very immature sore losers. Obama beat Hillary fair and square without going negative. It's not Obama's fought Hillary ran a very poor campaign. Also, I think a lot of women who supported Hillary, just wanted a woman to be president, which is a poor reason to elect a person as president. Believe me, Obama isn’t the democratic nominee because he’s an African American; nor would I vote for him just because he’s an African American. It’s Obama’s message that has captivated America and the world, including myself.

It does not make any difference. Clintons have now the burden on them to put the record straight, and let their supporters know that Obama won the primaries fair and square! Any attempt to play any foul game will be politicaly suicidal!
The movement of Americans, by Americans that want a stake in the political process is impossible to stop!

Seems to me like a very disfunctional political system, where you can have another vote after you have already lost (Hillary). Your party is supported by a fence sitting Republican (Leiberman). If you annot have your way in the Democratic party go and vote Republican (PUMAs).

It seems none of you have the best interests of the US in mind, but then again look at the mess you are in, it is just a result of the lack of your unity.

Too many spoiled brats.....

It would seem that the US has more important things to get behind and prepared for with Putin's new power play, The Soviet Union II.

Get it together guys otherwise you will lose big time, more than just Democrat Vs Republican.

Its funny that people believe PUMA is all white republicans...lol. Well, Im a black man and recognize nonsense when I see it. Obama cant win, and the Clinton supporters have every right to fight for her. SO GET OVER IT! The party is split....will continue to be split and the Obama supporters that keep logging on and calling McCain and Clinton foul and dirty names are doing nothing to solve the split party problem. Sexism and agism is just as bad as racism. Now with that said...why hasnt Barry come out and asked his supporters to stop with their "isms"? O well....McCain in 08! BTW....Barry was like a deer in the headlights over the Georgia/Russia conflict...lol....guess while McCain was visiting those countries he was meeting with Ayers and Rev. Wright. What a joke.....lol....

Let people decide on their own instead of doing things the same old way in the Democratic Party, what a novelty to have a FREE vote.

Isn't this the way it's always been done? So glad to see democracy working (at least here)! So happy to hear this! Maybe they found with the descrpencies abt his birth certificate he's disqualified (plenty of sites on this-texasdarlin. wordpress. com , etc). I will never risk our great country to an inexperienced rookie with weak foreign policies and a past that stinks of anti-Americanism! Hillary as VP or not - NObama ever!

If Clinton were to be nominated for president it would save me from having to vote republican. I will not vote for Obama period. Reasons, lack of experience in world politics, Higher taxes he proposes, questionable alliances with radical fringes.

Okay, this whole thing seems a bit ridiculous to me. Obama IS the Democratic candidate for President of the United States. I know that there are those who will argue that he is only the presumptive candidate, but this is merely a play on words.

I'm sure that in past elections, other "Presumptive" nominees have had challengers, but putting Hillary Clinton's name in nomination in this election goes beyond reason. Some say it's historic. To me it's just petty. She says her supporters should be heard. Well they have been. Now they should listen to this: "HILLARY LOST!" and it's time that they put their support behind Obama.

I'm going out on a limb here that the people who support Clinton really have no clue as to what's going on in the world. They are following someone who can't even run a campaign, yet they want her to run a country. They support someone who can't even manage her own campaign finances, but they want her to handle our countries economy? I mean these "blind" supporters for Clinton are amazing. Keep supporting her, stay home and don't vote, write her name in as the country continues to crash and burn for another 4 years. She's not even a contender for 2012 after this fiasco.

This is supposed to help or solve something? This will only further divide people. After everything that Hillary has put us democrats through she doesn't deserve a respectable vote. She and Bill were great for their time but she has used a lot of little girl tactics to get what she wants. This is sad. If she wins the nomination half the people won't vote for her since they fell as if she's cheated her way in. If Barack wins, which he should, then those darn Puma's still won't support cause she still lost. This is a lose lose and Hillary is the cause of the Democrats going down in 08!

If anyone had any doubt about Hillary's motives, they should be put at rest now. Forget taking the White House back for the fist time in over a decade, as long as her ego is fed.

I was a Hillary supporter. No longer. Should she run in 2012, it will be a pleasure to vote AGAINST her!
